Can't we make him a Sword-Wand-Sword-thingy?
Basically he wields two swords and one wand at the same time.

You gonna have to be more specific than that. Can't we make him a Sword-Wand-Sword-thingy?

That was just a silly reference to your "wield 3,235 wands at the same time" setup. You gonna have to be more specific than that.
But generally, you'd have to make one of the weapons count as light for him to use it. Currently, he has a very good set up.
Ah, the Mahou Shoujo Special. That was just a silly reference to your "wield 3,235 wands at the same time" setup.
So they sacrificed a Celestial for this. The Forlorn Knight holds tight the key
A Blade Reforged in hallowed blood
In gleanered vale ever Darkness be
Seek out the child risen from the fog
Greater Black Tentacles are amazing because they only attack Evil and ignore everything else. Ser Kennos presumably is not Evil.
The tentacles will only attack him if he has an Evil aura. If he does, the SotD will probably protect him anyway, as he'll likely be transformed to stone. And if it doesn't, and he dies, so what? We can Raise him to keep Thoros happy, if necessary.
It's hard to run screaming if you've been transformed into a statue or knocked unconscious from nonlethal damage.I hate to be that guy but unless we want every devil running screaming from us I suggest we don't use the Sotd. Unless thats the plan, at which point have at it

Remember the first effect you have to save against from SotD is being Petrified. Only if you fail that are you subjected to any damage. And it will only be nonlethal damage. The increased temperature bands won't affect the Devils, who are immune to fire, and Kennos dying just means don't need to worry about collateral damage, since he can be Raised if necessary. Will there even be anything surviving if we drop SoTD? I doubt Merciful can stop the effects from the raised temperature bands
Those poor trees...
You can't be made to sign those kinds of pacts. If he did so, he did it willingly, in which case he can rot in Hell.Isn't there a potential minor problem if Kennos the mortal signed a pact - paying with his soul? Would that impact the chances to resurrect him?
We tell Thoros that his friend unfortunately sold his soul to the devils, and then we move on to more important things.Isn't there a potential minor problem if Kennos the mortal signed a pact - paying with his soul? Would that impact the chances to resurrect him?
We can't even see Kennos. It doesn't make any sense for Viserys to be able to exclude Kennos when we can't see him or say for sure where he is.@Goldfish
SotD has a clause to avoid hitting chosen targets.
We should just exclude the knight.

... Alright, that's fair.We can't even see Kennos. It doesn't make any sense for Viserys to be able to exclude Kennos when we can't see him or say for sure where he is.
I actually think it's preferable if he is affected by SotD. He's almost certain to be Petrified, which is safer for him than remaining a squishy flesh bag during a fight with Devils.
