It's in here:
Our demiplane still has a shadow, which is super cool, but also annoying since it's a reminder we have work to do. The second we find ruins with dragonstone in them we're harvesting all of it and using it to restore the Shadow Tower to what it once was. Mended walls and roofs, fixing the levels of the tower that were lost, and then once the infrastructure is done we decorate the whole thing. Magical paintings and tapestries, the finest furniture magic can create, the best servitors Lya can craft, etc.
Obviously. Xor can already get the Lyre ready, since this month we will need the full building power of him and the Arcanum to start the remodelling and fix the battle damage.
What we are doing right now is the resumption of the military shock and awe on the political layer. We are creating facts faster then our enemies can keep up with.
"Well, the dragon conquered us last night. It's great that the looting was stopped so quickly but it still happened so... oh, there are the looters hanging already. That was quick. Though I still have to make some room for my extended family, who lost their house and I need some work, so... oh, they are rebuilding already and hiring. Guess that settles that. Probably don't need to think about all of this before he holds that speech then. Theres work to be done after all."
Basically, we don't give them time to ponder what happened and establish a flow that has them just goin on with life while being told what to do and what to think.
In times of uncertainty, people latch on every bit of order and stability they can find and we will be that order and stability.
Nah. It's the state of disrepair that bothers me, doubly so now that we have a green light for fabricating dragonstone and can easily repair the Shadow Tower with enough of the stuff.Oh, it's always been that way.
You definitely made it seem like our Shadow Tower was damaged in the battle rather than having remained in the state of disrepair it has been for centuries.
Christ, it's like you've got Vetenari's rulebook with annotations and an author's note in the back, signed and first edition to boot.

I was hoping to move relatively quickly with getting Myr, since I don't trust Volantis not to try to nab the city before we get to it.We did prep-work with Lys already, so that'll be smoother than normal. It'll be Myr that should be harder to negotiate with.
If we appear willing to buy off Lys and Myr with some of the more disputed (heh) portions of the Tyroshi disputed lands because we don't want to be bothered with "distractions," implying that we're both less competent (giving away important farmland) and that we're very focused on Westeros. That it doesn't matter if we give away a small bit of the disputed land to buy time to prepare to conquer the entire thing is something we don't need to point out to them.

Maybe two-in-one? Myr and Lys at the same time, one with conquest, the other with intrigue?
DP just told us that Tyrosh has a population of 600,000, and we just took the entire city with a Legion of 2200 men and women from our population of roughly 19000. We should get a ridiculous number of fighting soldiers ready soon enough. The best part is that we have a blooded veteran core to train the new soldiers, so everything should go much, much faster.Oh, I was talking about the diplomacy. We're going to have a lull as we consolidate Tyrosh and rush our garrison troops trough training. When we actually move, we should take Myr, Lys, and Pentos as close together as possible. I don't think same day is feasible, but the same week should work.
The limiting factor once again is going to be the iron. We need more. We always need more.
I don't want to pay for the iron. We're essentially getting it for free through the Xorn.Plane of Earth and a trading chit that gets us in the door with no questions asked.
We're getting the iron, we're getting all the fucking iron.

Another thing: way back we rolled to see if we could find a Qohorik smith in Braavos, and a poor roll got us a dying master of the craft.
Let's search in our new city to see if there are any random smiths to be found. Tyrosh is famed for the armor that comes out of here (which will come in handy when we set them to resize the legionnaire's fabricated armor), so perhaps at least one was tempted by the concentration of master smiths, even with their lack of arcane skill? Worth a shot either way. I want that thinblade for Valaena.

What are they actually going to do though? They'd be lucky to contribute a days worth of work at the scale we operate.
Inb4 we usurp their head priest and vasalise the entire religion, including it's god, and make them work for us, the idea of Viserys calling gods to his office and asking why they aren't keeping the schedule is amusing.Viserys: "Alright team, I want this place rebuilt within the month, I've got you scheduled for Myr and barely any margin for Pentos. Chop chop."
