When you volunteered to ride ahead, Belegar was sceptical until you told him your ability to make the 400-mile round trip in two to three days.
If you turn back now you'll arrive slightly later than you predicted when you left, but apart from earlier always being better there's no particular urgency about arriving back on schedule.

I suspect that the Dwarfs value reliability higher than impressive results. We said we would be back in two or three days, let's try to make it.its a 6 hours detour , maybe abit more if we find something interesting there atm so it isnt a massive detour people.
and we already have got distracted and being a very impressive deep scout might make for a nice impression to the dwarfs and the general army for a rep outside us being a wizard and destroyer of drakenhof while also confirming that grey wizards are best wizards.
