You're not the only one who can open communications with Karaz-a-Karak - the Expedition has cavalry that can make the return trip, and Karaz-a-Karak has gyrocopters.

The 2 best ways to contribute to the campaign are to take messages to Karaz-A-Karak and to help with the scouting we should also start getting to know the rest of our wizards so we can begin to work together. I suggest we take the messages, do the scouting and talk with 1 group of journeymen.
 
So we're now Court Wizard advisor responsible for wizards. Definitely need to get in a couple of talking to wizards actions. Two of those, one with the Council of War?

Given our speed, we would be good at scouting. And using the time to get to know the Head Ranger makes narrative sense. And in downtime, getting to know a Gold Wizard (and their insights into Enchantment) is also time well invested into success outside the campaign.

If you're doing scouting you want the Amber Wizards first. They can do aerial recon, which in collaboration with a dwarf ranger would be Such Bullshit.
 
How do people feel about attempting to locate and assassinate enemy magic users before battles in order to reduce the effects of our still somewhat limited anti-magic abilities.

Mathilda should at least go near tge Sirlanders, because she is in a good ppsition to act as a mediator between the dwarves and the Stirlanders in the future. Because this is a very diverse force and arguments could easily spark, so having somebody who is liked by both sides would be useful.

We have to get to know the people we are responsible for, now that we have chosen a task we have to fullfill it.
At least I'm pretty sure that's what a dwarf would think on the matter.

We got plenty of scouts and are in still friendly territory. Time to schmooze.

That said, I think we have a responsibility first to the people we will be ordering about. I think we should get this out of the way in one fell swoop. Doing it all at once might help with the efficiency. Then, we can use the next stage to meet and greet with the council once we have our own affairs in order. And check up on all the stirlanders. They should not resent us for first getting reinforcements, then meeting our responsibilities. Let's not be a distant boss they've never meet.

Least we've got artillery now. We should find out if our Amber Wizardlings know how to turn into a bird and then link them up with Ulthar, who we can get to know as well. If Ulthar knows their capabilities he'll be able to use them for their aerial scouting abilities in the future without our direct say-so. Should help with scoping our ambushes and finding the best routes.
