@Duesal will we collect the hydra, or atleast some lf its youngs. Should be able to divine the highest chance to find its spawn...

Although one should be growing in its neck too I think.

Yep.

We can always change this to something else if we need to. Maybe send them with Moonsong or something.
Just found the minor actions. Haven't been able to follow the discussion today.

@Diomedon, if we can still add things to the minor actions, add Viserys talking to Maelor about his plans. DP wouldn't have offered that option without reason.

Furthermore, we should send the Tyrosh group only with the three Greater Ribbons. Glyra and Maelor are burned there and Garin sticks out through his aura and broadcasts Evil Undead without the ribbon masking it.

Ah, right.

Current options for Baby Adventurers & Arcanums:

1. Fetch Hydra babies
2. Fetch Pegasus baby
3. Murder Devil cultists
4. Help the Silver Eye
5. Tag along with Moonsong
6. Raid slavers & Lannisters

Should be fine to add it in. We just need to give DP a heads up and slip it into the plan. We got a green light to have as many minor actions as we please.

That was precisely the plan. They're only going with the Greater Ribbons of Disguise.

Seriously though, thanks @Diomedon for doing the turn plan so the rest of us didn't have to.

... Dracolich, Illyrio, Molten Skies, Runestone, all in one turn? This really is the turn of loose ends.

Part MDCLXXVIII: Of Bargains Carved in Stone
Of Bargains Carved in Stone

First Day of the First Month 293 AC

"I was wondering where you intended to get the iron for that furnace," Malarys tell you as he sets his teacup back down onto the tray before him. You imagine most other men would have reacted somewhat more strongly to the notion that you intended to travel beyond the world for a trade deal, never mind an offer to join such an expedition. Malarys treats it with the same cool aplomb he seems to carry with him everywhere as a cloak. A mark of his training, or simply natural inclination, you wonder. "I would be most pleased to join you."

With commendable swiftness for someone who takes as much care with his appearance as he does, the mage-priest dons the silvery armor he took from the ruins of Essaria and readies himself for the journey ahead. "Send my apologies for all my appointments today and tomorrow," he instructs his diminutive majordomo before granting him the power to speak and understand all tongues.

Joining hands with you, Ser Richard, and of course Dany, the four of you spin outwards though a bewildering storm of color and sound until a few heart-beats later you find yourself in the cavern of the Xorn, its wonders undimmed upon second sight. Under the shadow of the great stone tree the Xorn wait: Rock Shaker shuffling in place as though hardly waiting to embrace you, and of course solemn Mountain Heart. Yet as you exchange greetings you notice that not all is as it had been, globes of crystal holding heatless mage-fire hang from the tree of stone like odd fruit and wardings of good fortune and strength in battle are carved into the stone around you. Even Rock Shaker carries a three-sided magical talisman with a ruby eye in the center: the fruits of renewed prosperity born of your deliveries most likely.

As any prince would be, you are glad to see your allies grow strong, and as any merchant glad to see them prosper, knowing that their prosperity will soon be reflected upon you.

"The pride of the past for the wealth and security of the present," Mountain Heart declares as he hands you a gem black as onyx yet shining with a spark of hungering flame deep within. It feels unnaturally heavy in your hand.

Gained 1 Soul-Stone (Radiating Law and Evil)

"Careful touching that to bare skin," Malarys whispers. "It is likely safe, but likely makes cold comfort when dealing with dark spirits of any true potency."

You nod in thanks as you pocket the stone regardless.

"Now that the first deal had been done in good faith, I look forward to a deeper and of course ever more profitable relationship," you offer Mountain Heart with a carefully calculated smile, wasted though it may be against the Stone Swimmers who likely know little of reading mortal expressions.

"Indeed," the elder rumbles happily. "I am afraid the market for sea-salt has fallen off for now, but I have made inquiries about crafts worked of bone and wood, and there is a minor lord of the earth-genies who would pay much for the chance to show such things in his personal collection... Unfortunately the quickest route to his holdings runs near a vein of Rotstone, so it will not be quite so profitable as the last run unless..."

"Unless someone were to clear this impediment," you finish. The Xorn are many admirable things, but subtlety is certainly not among their virtues.

What do you do?

[] Offer to clear this 'Rotstone'

[] Refuse the task and move on to negotiating the trade deal

[] Write in

OOC: It's been a while since we have had some combat, however if you want to avoid it you can and you will still get a good deal.

Is... @DragonParadox, is Rotstone actually Bilestone? Rock Shaker should have encountered Bilestone in her months-long stay at Sorcerer's Deep. Does she know Rotstone is Bilestone?

Also, how long would this take?

I don't think anyone wants to disrupt our carefully crafted plan, but I am curious.

  1. It should take no more than the time allotted to the action (2 days max).
  2. Yes Rock Shaker has seen the Rotstone near the former altar of Tiamat when she fought the demons.

God. Fucking. Damn it.

Deep Ones. Would attacking them here be breaking the truce, @DragonParadox? Or did we only make a truce with Prime Material Deep Ones and everyone else is fair game?

On the plus side, the lack of a time constraint is a nice surprise.

Aberrations most likely, not necessarily Deep Ones, that is a political descriptor. It is at least possible that anything you meet here has nothing to do with the Deep Ones. On the other hand you do know from Relath's experience that the Deep Ones have interests on other planes.

Can we do divinations on this? We could do a Commune and spend the extra questions asking about the Molten Skies situation.

Well the Xorn could be counted as our allies and within our infleunce.

Or if not, we ask them to ally with us and if the abberations attack it is only fair to strike back.

Something to point out, I did some quick calculations and to equip just our own troops by Tyrosh should take 79-99 tons of iron (for 2000-2500 troops), or 9-11 trips (with Bull's Strength+Ant Haul) to PoE and back, not accounting for the Night's Watch or Iron to trade to the summer islands. So Viserys is going to be popping in periodically, whenever he has a moment and spells to spare. I kinda want to build up more good will so we can work towards automating this with constructs, not needing Viserys.

I also want to be seen well by the Xorn if we're showing up for a few minutes so frequently in their city.

While I agree with this and am already voting to clear the bilestone, I do want to point out that we basically saved them from annihilation via slavery, and we made them rich through trade with us. Oh, and also keeping Rockshaker safe for several months. We've got quite a bit goodwill built up with them, far more than we do with most people.
