Then you return to the matter at hand, explaining the chance to learn magic from the Old Gods as well as the guarantee of safety. You stress that this is in no way an obligation but instead an opportunity.

The pause while the sisters confer is so brief you might almost have missed it, then Reva says solemnly, "We would like to learn this magic, for it might be of great use to our House..."
I'm going to take this chance to gloat. My schemes of turning these two into druids or something along those lines are finally on the right track! :D

[X] Agree

The PR battle is well and truly lost folks, worrying about this is sort of like worrying about the wallpaper peeling when the hurricane has already torn off your roof.

As TNE so rightly pointed out, they think we literally eat babies.

@TotallyNotEvil if there's still a space free I'd like to request involvement in the Legion micromanagement conversation. I have some opinions to share/champion.
I feel bad saying it, but I can't actually add anyone else.

Can you ask the mods?

Someone could volunteer to leave, I suppose. The mods might cut us slack that way, as we wouldn't be over the free user limit.

Current users are me, Diomedon, bigbow, Crake, Azel, DP, iggyfan, Goldfish, Duesal.

I want to drop a surprise attack if their relatives would be insulted enough, and foolish enough to follow the way of the Nephaerys clan.

After this I doubt any Volantene will invite us to another party... We have sticky fingers... for maidens...

I'll show myself out... Night shiiiiiiiiiiiiift!!!!

"I think I may call upon your services one day, yes," you reply truthfully.

Reva grimaces. "Services... you make us sound like merchants."

Seeing little point in launching into a lecture on the folly of disparaging trade, you instead reply, "Service is another word for allegiance or fealty."
Was anyone else disappointed that Viserys didn't give that lecture on the merits of trade?

Good point. Last time someone in Volantis made trouble for us, they lost 2.5% of their families.

And from their perspective, we lost nothing and gained 8k gold.

Sorry for beating this horse again, but can we deal with Dracolich this turn? We need the tower for Tyrosh, and if we do it one month before D-Day then whatever mess the Dracolich leaves behind when we evict him will probably not have enough time to fix itself.

I don't care if we need to get Vee to bodily shove Yss through the portal, its high time the damned squatter got evicted. Yes, Yss will have seen the inside of the tower... but nothing terrible will come out of it. The Snek knows better than biting the hand that feeds him...

Edit: Dracolich would be a nice snack for the Snek, now that I think about it. It would probably leave him with a semester long indigestion though.

No objections from me this time.

With the Old Gods as a complete and disappointing dead end on that front, time to ask Yss if he can help point us in the right direction. I'm even willing to toss him the Vrock as a snack to help out.

It's fairly high priority, yes. We'll do our best. It's likely a Dany and/or Lya action, who with Viserys are our most in demand days, usually, particularly since Lya wants to come on the Illyrio visit.

Being honest... real talk: I want to go to Volantis so that when they try to drag us down in a political mire of backstabbery and duplicity, we have an excuse ready for why another 2.5 slaving families of the Old Blood had to be obliterated for Zherys.

We said we wouldn't come at him... nothing about not defending ourselves thoroughly.

Most likely it will be a full party action day if the Yss angle fails. It seems a mother of all smackdowns in the Shadowplane will be our plan B, and we'll need most of the crew to help with that. Then we'll have to keep shaking the tower apart until we find the phylactery (before Dracolich reforms and we have to do it all over again). A pain in the ass, but worth it. We can rebuild the walls later.

Alright then, top priorities this next turn.

Plane of Air -- under no circumstances can this be pushed back, we need those crafting materials
Illyrio -- must kill him and deny the Blackfyres and Tiamat an important asset, and also loot his manse and hopefully find dragon eggs
Dracolich -- get the damn thing the hell out of our tower

@Diomedon, the more I think about it the more I realize that Waymar's knighting can and should be pushed back with all the other things that have come up, just like the Lys Heart Tree is also being pushed back.

I'm about to go to sleep, but suggestions for the Watch Uniform? Since everyone is so obsessed with cloak color for watches (Gold Cloaks, Red Cloaks, etc.), I kinda want to make them extra boring, like grey or brown. It'll contrast the bright colors of Tyrosh, and also make them actually stealthy at night.

I think we already got there. It's been pushed back to first things the following turn, and we should probably let him know we plan on visiting, at least in my working plan, unless some of the stuff we plan on doing takes much less time then when it first popped up, now that we teleport/ride flying steeds everywhere.

Edit: I'll be trying to get up in 7-ish hours, in case it's the fleet redeployment vote, or to help with the turn vote if that lands first.
