The Earth lies in ruins. The Z-Fighters, once the planet's greatest hope, have fallen at the hands of Frieza and his relentless army. With the Saiyans and their ally's defeated, Frieza now roams the Earth unchallenged, scouring every corner of the planet for the legendary Dragon Balls to cement his dominion of Earth.
But hope is not lost.

Centuries after Earth fell, the survivors' descendants are still only barely coming to their feet. On their new, hidden homeworld of Garenhuld, Kakara, the young heir to one of the two royal houses, must find her place as her society approaches a period of renewed turmoil.
Understand the word ruthless. Some think it means 'mean.' It's not about being mean. It's about seeing the bright, clear line that leads from A to B. The line that goes from motive to means. Beginning to end. It's about seeing that bright, clear line and not caring about anything but the beautiful fact that you can see the solution. Not caring about anything else but the perfection of it.
