You had decided to follow the shady small being. He traveled quickly down winding pathways and throughout the castle, ducking under crevices and had moved through halls you hadn't known existed, into vents and eventually out of the palace area that you dwelled alongside Paragus and Broly. Further still did the cloaked one move, onto the urbanized ruins you had seen while out exploring, far, far out till all other sign of flesh things had disappeared. You had barely managed to keep an eye on it, with it's scampering and if not for the scale of your accommodations you'd be sure you'd have lost yourself on this miserable planet. Then finally at the furthest end of the ruins, were stone met with flora native to this planet, the figure paused. He looked left and right, before ducking into the underbrush. You watched attentively waiting for him to come out, and spotted him once more, now 0 meters off from where he had entered, walking back into the urbanized environment with a brisk pace. Great one way back into another... You barely kept the groan from leaving your lips and set back onto the path, moving to follow the miscreant who dared to waste your time, and praying this wasn't a complete waste of time.
Back into the buildings the small one scurried, under debris long aged, and windowless holes left behind by time. Eventually he came into a single building and hadn't come out in the past hours you had waited. Sagging and dreary, not even the best architects could fix such a rundown ruin, and yet the prey thing stayed within. Tired of waiting any longer you had decided to enter. Carefully creeping in and avoiding any loose rocks or other noisy items that may tip off you're oblivious target you make your way into the precarious host of safety violations. You're first glance shows nothing of note, until you come across a trapdoor, poorly hidden beneath a rug that looked too out of place in such a rundown environment. Clasping the ring on top of the trapdoor let you access a stairway, recently carved by your examinations, too dark to see it's true depths even by eyes such as yours. Unlit torches litter the walls, and momentarily you debate using them but decide it'd be best to venture forth, acknowledging that the light would do more harm then good.
You journeyed for what must have only been minutes but felt like hours, as the repetitive stone greeted your vision. You come to a halt eventually when the stairway opened up to a larger cavern, torches stuck upon the walls and hooded figures running about. Some held rations, other books, all trying to whisper shout as they went about their business. A single unhooded face, bowing before a statue and letting out a solemn prayer revealed these were unbound workers, laborers stolen from the adjacent planet that Paragus had shown you. The green skin, some pale some dark was a distinctive feature, and the way they were running this place made you suspect that this had gone on for quite a long time. Doubling back, you reset everything outside the stairwell and get rid of any presence of your disturbance. Before you was a complex situation, one that could be handled a number of ways.
Oh if Paragus knew he'd surely dismantle this, performing a plethora of brutal killings and executions. Alternatively you could leave this here, for future blackmail or even to wait for Paragus until he was at his weakest to strike. The corner did show a training site though their moves were clumsy at best. A third option would be to try and assert yourself as ruler and attempt to create your own underground organization. They were adept at hiding at least and showed at least the basic ability to run themselves, so it'd be easy work for you to insert yourself. Or...or you could do non of the above, and deal with this problem yourself. You could feast and gorge yourself on the Prey Things, and feel the joys you had before being tamed by Paragus. Had you an actual digestive track you're sure it'd be rumbling at the thought and your tongue flicks across your lips. It is only right after all, is it not? The weak exist for the strong to benefit. You'd be doing them a service really. Still, perhaps there's an angle you haven't seen yet?
What will you do:
[ ] Notify Paragus, let him know of this puny rebellion
[ ] Leave the rebels here, let them build up and be a resource for you once they mature
[ ] Try and assert dominance, taking over the rebels to suit your own needs
[ ] Rip and Tear. Hunt and Pillage. Indulge in the chaos.
