And I imagine that if/when they see the impoverished and enslaved Ponies of the Wasteland, those who are victimized and preyed upon by slavers and raiders, some of them will have some sympathy.
The astute among them would draw parallels between them and the crystal ponies, and those with kinder hearts would try to extend the same courtesy.

Also. In fallout: equestria, does Discord come back somehow?

Not in the original fic, though some people believe he got weakened by everything blowing up and goes around and puts bottle caps and other items in random places for people to find. (Mentioned in a conversation from the Big Bads goons.)
His fate is shown in Fallout Equestria:Horizons but I won't spoil it (And Horizons canonocity is left up to the readers I believe).
I suggest reading both (Though Horizons is kinda fucked up so if your faint of heart tread carefully) If your interested.

Hey @Questor what really happen on before and during the Great War what cause it and the truth about well our Characters pov on his son near assasstination

Events were as described. There weren't any hidden agendas or conspiracies that were hinted at. Gryphus' intelligence agencies saw the way the war was going, and after Peace negotiations broke down in the most violent manner imaginable, the Emperor and his council realized that a nuclear war was imminent and unavoidable, and took drastic measures to ensure the survival of their people.

The attempted assassination of Celestia at a Peace summit is something that actually happened in the canon Fallout Equestria timeline, the only difference here is that the peace talks were being brokered by Gryphus.

An excellent omake. I do wonder if Gryphus will be sending Wind Whistle back with some sort of proof of their existence or if she'll only have her word to back her up, and if the Enclave will take her story seriously even with proof.
All I'm hearing is "PART TWO".

You can try to do everything right and still get worked over by selfish jerks. The struggle is real.

The Private stared, eyes wide in disbelief and more than a little disgust.

"We're going to grow our food in the dirt?"

Lighthooves shook his head.

"It's far from ideal Private, and I feel sorry for the poor bastards that might get assigned to mud-raking duty, but it beats starvation."
I kind of like how that omake subtly implies their racism. I mean, someone was scandalized at the idea of growing stuff OUT OF DIRT. Something that everyone kind of needs to do, except for pegasi apparently.:D

The Pegasi Enclave are only marginally better than their human counterparts from the games.

To give you an idea of just how messed up they are, think about this: in the Canon Fallout Equestria timeline, Rainbow Dash was actually one of the founders and leaders of the Enclave...until she deserted them to try and help the ground-bound Ponies they were content to abandon.

The Element of Loyalty deserted them.

I wonder if any of the fanfics set in the FO:E setting have a splinter group of the Pegisi Enclave, but they happen to be even stronger to the one that appeared in the original story? Tends to happen in Fallout fanworks for some reason (looking at yu, The Frontier...) :p

I just hope that the sight would help to reignite the foundation of the Empire that Golden-Feather forged, to assist those in need of help while creating a new future for everyone. It might take time and combing the archives to overcome so many years of anger, but the establishment of another Empire to emulate the old could very well be possible.

Definitely hoping for more on this spinoff of an omake.

For anyone who was confused by the mention of "The Raptor" in the Omake: it is a type of Airship used by the Pegasus Enclave, roughly equivalent to a frigate if one were using naval terminology.

why did the zebra use the peace summit as a assassination attempt? that's something that really could have backfired in multiple ways. you just dont do that when it comes to international relations.

i used to talk to Kkat but i dont think i asked her what was up with that or what was going on in the background to make that a thing.

Assuming it wasn't a deliberate worsening of relation's from a third party such as a changeling, radical rogue, or something other? I'd assume it was simply easier to kill her in the peace summit than in her homeland, as (barring luna and ascended twilight) their is no immortal godlike heir to fill the seat for equestria.
It's still war if that was their aim all along, and it's not like attack's on diplomatic embassies have never been done before. And in the end what's done is done, regardless of the reasons involved with the rest as history.

Long story short the zebras started the war because of religious/cultural reasons and they were starting to lose and got dispirit.

Long story long, In the FO:E universe zebras saw the stars as an evil omen after getting hit by a meteor at some point in there distant past. Sun butt, trying to be nice to her sister gave her a school of her own in some mountains that where on the zebra boarder. The zebras still saw Luna as Nightmare moon who to them was as close to the devil as you could get and Luna's school was basically like putting a nazi death camp on the Israel boarder. So they gas bombed it killing all the students and sparking the war.

It's also why they chose to end the world in nuclear fire because they saw that they were going to lose the war and figured a world destroyed was better then a world rule by Luna, again who they saw as the devil.

Actually, the massacre of the school was a lone wolf attack carried out by a nameless zebra legionary after the zebra refugees he was escorting into Equestria (which included members of his family) were killed by the school's automated defense systems due to a misunderstanding. Also, the war started years before that due to disputes over resources - the school massacre just caused the war to escalate and convinced Celestia to abdicate in favor of Luna, which radicalized the zebras even more. But other than that, what you posted is pretty much accurate.
To be fair it has been a few years since I read the fanfic so the finer details probably have eroded a bit but glad to hear I still got the main points straight.

...Please don´t mention that *trainwreck* of a mod, pal...there are so many more and *better* mods out there, including some that make the Enclave joinable (or, in the case of *Old World Blues* for HoI4, *playable*)

Still pinning the majority of the blame on the Zebras being superstitious, backwards idiots.

I do have to wonder why the zebra folk could not have simply had a Frank and simple discussion with the princess about the fact that her sister was quite literally the devil. Or that any of the Diplomatic Corps of the equestrian Powers could not have pointed out that Princess Luna or Nightmare Moon was such a terrifying soiling your drawers events that would cause them to escalate. I would also ask why exactly Luna's school had to be chuck all the way over to the frontier so that students could join in and start to learn there. It feels a bit like a exile to the Far Corners of Equestria similar to being banished to the Moon. Regardless can't wait to see the quest continue.

Would you just ask *the Elder Sister of the DEVIL* to please take your nation´s boogeyman away again?

But again, Zebricas stupidity and superstition is a big reason why the world ended in FO:E, so it´s a Necessary Weasel

Another aspect might be the resource wars, that was implied to already be in progress when events caused religious/superstitious undertones to pop up...

I said "a BIG part", not "the ONLY reason".

Also, ressource crises can be resolved by *simply hashing out trade deals and the like*, as long as one doesn´t get held back by ideological mumbo-jumbo.

well one thing you have to remember is that the fic was based off of fallout just as much of mlp. And in Fallout the planet was running out of resources. I mean the reason china attacked Alaska was because it was one of the last oil deposits left on the planet as well as the largest and all that oil was needed just to keep the good old U.S. of A running. Trade wasn't really in the cards as there wasn't enough to trade. In FO:E I believe they turned that into that the world was kinda simultaneously hitting the industrial revolution at the same time so while resources probably weren't gone, no one really knew where to find them or that the demand for these resources was higher then what was being produced so each nation just kinda hoarded what they found and then the cultural/religious thing is what kept the war going and had it escalate.

Overall though the fic never really delve to deep into what lead up to the war as that wasn't really important to the story. Hell it barely even touches the zebra's point of view so everything you learn about them is almost all through the bias view of the Equestrians. So the story only really just kind of tells the basics of why the war started and then just focused on the war itself and the aftermath as the entire story is based around the 'fallout' of the war and how even over 200 years later how it's still screwing over the survivors as well as maybe giving some solutions on how to fix everything.
