The time to argue against this option was *before* the vote closed.
Indeed, the time for arguments is over.
Now is the time to sit back and watch poor Borek tear his forked beard out trying to supply a hundred kittybirds, a hundred giant pups, a dragon, two hundred men, two hundred dwarfs, a dozen wizards, one Mathilde and an elf. All out of half a dozen cannon-laden steamwagons.

So what these dice are saying, the Skull of Katam told Van Horstmann one of the Truths of the world, specifically that everything in the world is decided by the rolls of dice.

Van Horstmann then took the only logical option and became a devout Ranald cultist to improve his chances of survival. (Or make it so if he died, at least it would be funny)

And now, in the Karak closest to the realm of chaos, where the divine/magical is the strongest, Ranald is gonna attempt history's greatest Heist. One Mathilde will only realize she's a part of halfway through when everything's gone to shit as a part of the set up.
Oh boy, a heist movie?

Alric: explains the Expedition to Van Horstmann
Van Horstmann: "You son of a bitch, I'm in! Who else is in the crew?"
Alric: "Well, Mathilde Weber is both the scout and the demolitions expert, apparently..."

Yeah now that I think of it, the logistics of bringing 100 Demigryph Knights do seem a bit.. challenging. That's a lot of cat food bags to haul around.

We got two additional steam wagons and no additional dwarves due to the delay we asked the ice witches for, so I think we've got more cargo space than first calculations indicated. Plus, I'm 90% sure Boney said that no matter who we recruit, the dwarves would make the logistics work, so I'm not concerned.

I do like that we've got enough cavalry to screen, scout, and punch holes in encirclement. As I keep saying, I'm most worried about the return trip.

Each is dedicated to a victory of either Taal or the Knights, and from the few moments you get to glance around you recognize depictions of greenskins, Skaven,

and you have only the drone of the engines and your books for company.
What about the pilot? He's mostly flying in straight lines during hopefully not so terrible weather.

How come? Do the Winds get blasted out so hard that their elemental and mystical attractors can't affect them, similar to how a water blast shoots a long arc without making stuff below it wet? I'd have expected them to also blow lower down.

I really want to add one I rolled that said all the Dwarfs in Dum were dead, but I can't find it. Wish there was a way to search for stuff you've rolled.
I got you, friendo :cool2:
TIL Omegahugger was one of the scriptwriters for Road to El Dorado. I can't say I remember how good the (20 years old) movie was, but I do remember enjoying it when I saw it, so thanks for your work! :V
It is a delightful love story about a bisexual triad, and that is literally all I remember.

EDIT: Also, vote's open.

What are you talking about, those are just rat like beastmen, now please follow these gentleman in white coats as they take you somewhere you can sit and think about things in peace and quiet. :V

Should that be cantrip instead of caltrop? Cantrips are a low level wizard trick, Caltrops are the spikes that you throw on the ground.

A small and pointy object which has the singular purpose of being obstructive.

Anyone that's a professional fighter for long enough is going to encounter them, so there's institutional knowledge of them inside just about every Knightly Order. And the tapestries aren't super detailed, to anyone outside the know they're simply short, furry Beastmen.

You can't reach the pilot from the passenger compartment, which was originally meant for carrying bombs instead of people.

Closer to the Wastes there's enough magic that everything is saturated, further away the velocity of the Winds fall enough that they can obey their own preferences instead of inertia. In between there's a sweet spot where there's very little magic at ground level.
