Can I interest anyone in giving away our torq as well? We use dread aspect a lot, but seem to be pushing away from battlefield command, so I think that slot is better used for other things. (Assuming internal/armor/external/weapon as our slots, to keep winds segregated.)

tbh a nat 1 on writing papers is probably the most harmless possible place it could have shown up (in contrast to all those incredibly clutch nat 100's we've gotten recently), so I'd call it a blessing from Ranald
It makes perfect sense... MC got that knowledge from reading Mork's personal notes on WAGH! while Mork was distracted by the suddenly ninja thing... it a combination of 'you had to be there' and the Pokemon speech of WAGH! cries, it just doesn't translate well. Its like trying to explain and inside joke in 'mime' to a blind man and ten paces.

So apaprently the spiders are intelligent, at least as a group. I wonder if Belegar is radical enough to form any kind of alliance with them once they are out of his hold?
I've been telling you people the epic songs about this are going to be derailed by the chorus about the spider siege for a while now.

You'd need an income to account for maintenance and crew, plus you'd have to pay for materials, but if you could do manage that, six points for the ship, and however many points you want to invest on the 'tower' portion.

All that said it can't be emphasized enough how vulnerable you'd be to a single spark or explodey miscast or fireball or flaming arrow.
@BoneyM, I'm not talking about a civilian ship, but something sturdier, a right proper warship, a Thunderbarge, as depicted here:

@BoneyM two questions:
1) How does a griffon, and a pegasus, compare to the gyrobomber in terms of speed and range?
2) Can Kragg actually manage the three-in-one Rune (S10, Flaming, +1 A)? It was discussed earlier that he apparently could cram that into a single one.

Pave the way for at least a job via Scouting folks, especially as it has the dual benefit of protecting our for-the-moment home from nasty schemes and attacking rats and Greenskins.

Same problem as ground travel: flesh-and-blood animals only have so much endurance. Gyrocopters will outrun and outrange anything that relies on muscle.

You don't know Kragg's capabilities, but I don't know what that discussion would have been based on. S10 is a hell of a rune all on its own.

It's pretty useless to us, so I certainly don't see why we'd keep it. Better in the hands of someone who can make good use of the thing. That said, I'm torn as to whether to pass it back to the Colleges for Favor (presumably the Brights will not be offended by this) or to give it as a gift to some dashing warrior hero character as part of a cunning scheme to entice them into a romance with Mathilde. (Guys like it when you give them shiny magic jewelry, right?)

Side note, the lack of eligible bachelors in recent updates is appalling. None of the mercenaries have names, the Ulricans have largely left for their new home (admittedly nearby), and the journeymen are too low-ranked to be prospects yet. I feel deeply for King Kazador and his "if only you were my race I'd have someone jumping your bones" attitude.

[X] You've been out of touch for a while. Linger in Altdorf after you visit the College and catch up with what's been happening in the Empire.
[X] Though your future relationship with the spiders is still unknown, they do appear to be a new species and you do have a number of corpses available. Have Esbern and Seija help you autopsy the creatures for a paper.

The WAAAGH paper would have been extremely useful in countering the advantages of any greenskin attacks, so we have to write even if we have drink on the job! Writing the paper would be huge for magic history.

Suppose they'd have our indefatigable armor, what then?

That's what I said, too :V

Compared the the High Elves, :p a single alien hivemind makes a much better ally.

I just realized that despite seeing numerous CK2 quests and the players doing some pretty radical stuff. I've never seen Sons/Daughters/Characters get Lunatic/Stressed traits 😱

Mathilda the Mad? Or her more popular title "who? Neva heard of her."

By the way, we seem to be rapidly progressing in Khazalid. That scene with king Kazador? There was not a word in Reikspiel spoken, unless the royal family consists of very devoted polyglots.

I haven't had the opportunity to read the past few pages, overatlantic flights followed by 12h workdays and jetlag are not the most condutive to such things, but did we just... not choose the option to have SnekJuice brought along with us? I though half the point of getting a tower set up was to start clearing up those old research projects so I have to wonder is the wonderful Box Of Eternal Bleeding is still back at our earlier/nominal home?
