And also because the Dragonflask seems like too much risk of collateral, and being too flashy. And I don't want to use it just because 'Well we haven't used it yet!' Plus, a swordy assassination is just cooler. :p
Mathilde will explicitly minimise the collateral damage, and I don't care if it's flashy as long as it is effective. It will immediately overwhelm him with firepower, and fire is very good a cleansing Choas. Shadow Knives is less lethal, and can be dodged.

A sword is by definition cooler than a fiery death :V But i find fire more awesome.

[X] Capture: Mockery of Death
-[x] Call for reinforcements if your spell fails, be sure to use your capture spells only when collateral damage won't be too much for the civilians.

[X] Kill: Branulhune
I get the feeling he would be more prepared for a magical attack, due to Alric's involvement, than suddenly getting cut in half.

[X] Kill: Branulhune

I really really want to capture and question him. Who knows how much information regarding the forces of Chaos in the Empire he may have? But unfortunately we can't risk him casting suspicion on Heidi, so we'll have to settle for a decapitation strike.

Can Mathilde involvement still be hidden with some of those options? or had going to the longshanks evaporate any chance of hiding her should Alric feel suitably pettily inclined?
