Honestly, looking at the vote I can't say that there is really any point in keeping it open for any longer.

In fact, this term definitely exists - as a last resort, they use the word majokko. True, initially it was still the original designation for the franchises of the glorious studio Toei Animation. Although, in fact, the period of Usagi-chan's life should come at the dawn of the magic idols. But perhaps what really is - at this moment Usagi associates himself more with Sentai and superheroics. A true entity like Hana no Ko LunLun will be revealed at a later date ... in fact, it would be great if Sailor Moon's magic could move outside the realm of fighting the Monsters of the Week.

Demon Eat Demon World Part 3: Making your way to Ueno

    "They've got some kind of glamour up." The Demon says, "Pretty impressive one too."

    Sailor Moon grins, "You can call me Sailor Moon, and this," She motions to Ami, "Is Sailor Mercury."

    "The important part is that you have fought these things before, Right?" Inuyasha presses, ignoring the rather odd look that Kagome is giving the two Senshi. "So what can you tell us about them?"

    "You said that they were in Ueno, right?" Ami asks, taking a moment to think before she grimaces. That will be thirty minutes by Train.

    "Probably more like fifteen if we take the rooftops," Usagi argues, before glancing over to Inuyasha, "If you can keep up that is."

    The red-robed demon bristles, but Ami shakes her head. "That's not the Problem Moon. Our lunch ends in twenty minutes. There is no way we can get there, kill the demons, and get back before classes start again."

    "Are you really placing your attendance over people's lives?" Kagome asks, her tone cooling.

    "If we are the only three students who go missing at the same time that the Senshi are seen, then that puts a target on all of us and our families," Ami argues back, causing the high school student to blink for a moment.

    "You're worried about these Youkai going after your family?" She asks, to which Usagi strongly nods.

    "The Dark Kingdom is willing to do just about anything to achieve their goals... Whatever those are." The Senshi of the Moon confirms.

    "Can't they just do what your family does when you're back in the past with me and the others?" Inuyasha asks, "Pretend to be sick or whatever." Ami looks at Inuyasha for a moment, but she doesn't press any further, not yet at least.

    "That might work," Kagome agrees, and while Ami does blanch a little, she does nod.

    Pretending to be sick? Usagi thinks for a moment, before perking up. "Mercury, Naru can cover for us, say we got sick from the food. Then, meet us on the other side of the school gate. I'll explain what we know of the Dark Kingdom and their attacks while you're gone."

    "Finally..." Inuyasha growls out.

    Usagi spends the next few minutes explaining the broad sweeps of what the Senshi know of the Youma, and the organization that they are a part of. The fact that they are weak to purifying magic, but can still be beaten in other ways, and most importantly the fact that they seem to be able to turn people into Youma.

    "Bullshit." Inuyasha spits, "That ain't how that works. To turn a human into a Demon, they'd have to either be consumed by demons, or they'd have to consume the life energy of humans. A lot of it."

    Sailor Moon grimaces, nodding. "Yeah." She agrees, "Which is why they are doing this. Cursed Jewelry that feeds on the Life Energy of humans, an evil school that feeds off of people's desires to be better at school. An evil gym that we know about, but haven't had a chance to infiltrate and figure out what the plan there is. You said that Tokyo smells like it is entirely infested with demons." Usagi takes a sharp breath. "That's because it is."

    "Fuck." Kagome says quietly, before glancing over towards one end of the school campus. "Alright. Then we're going to have to make a stop by the Archery club, I'll need a bow if we're doing this."

    It is remarkably easy to sneak around when one has the ability to simply leap across the rooftops. It is so rare for people to look up that Sailor Moon and the others are able to cross the campus and reach the Archery range without a single student noticing them.

    Kagome slips down off of the demon's back before hopping down from the roof into the Archery range itself. Sailor Moon watches as the girl quickly grabs one of the school's bows and a quiver of arrows, sliding them into place with the kind of casualty that is only born of practice.

    Just as quickly and easily the girl pulls herself back up to the roof, returning to her spot on the demon's back.

    From there, the two quickly move to the front of the school, passing over the gate and onto the sidewalk by the street. It is less than a minute before Sailor Mercury drops down next to them. "We're all good." Ami says, "Now, how are we planning on getting to the Zoo?"

    - Traveling by Train will definitely take longer, Usagi reasons, but Ami points out that given that the Youma have already been being attacked by Inuyasha, and he goes by roof, then they'll be looking for that, which means that taking the train will better allow them to surprise the demons.

    - Use Usagi and Ami's Intrigue Bonus combined
    -- If failed then gain 1d10 Attention
    To be completely honest, I am not particularly happy with how this has come out, but this is the best way I can think to handle this particular scene.

    A little trust for a guaranteed surprise attack, besides we know Kagome's identity so it's fair, right?
    Also, Moon already said Naru's name and the excuse she'd use. If Kagome really wants to find out, she can.
     
    I am thinking that I might take an extra day or so once the vote is finished. I've managed over 50k words in a month, and the last like two updates I have just really felt haven't been to the standards I want this quest to hold to, so I might spend a day just completely relaxing or something.
     
    Lunar, dont get burn out. This is one of my top 10 favorite quests of all time and if you need a break you , as well as any QM have a right to said break.

    We lack the ability to avoid a full bore investigation from the information we've already leaked, and even if we didn't giving them a bit more information is a lower delta on exposing us than taking the train.

    I mean if usagi takes the train she could pass as heading to a convention, but it is school hours...

    That and kagome and inuyasha know naru involved and both sailor and mercury attend the school so a reveal won't hurt too much, especially if they can cover for each other.

    Mostly because going by rooftops almost guarantees we lose the element of surprise, thus letting the Youma take hostages before we arrive. That's something that could end very badly.
     
    Just fyi, even with Moon and Mercury working with their Intrigue combined at 13, the best they can do is a 23, so passing a DC 30 is currently impossible.

    Clearly the demons won't buy the convention story!^^

    It's looking like inuyasha and Kagome will become long term allies at this rate so revealing our identities isn't too bad as we'd have to do it sooner or later anyway. Better we do it now and gain an advantage against the youma.
