The big worry with the jailbreak is the Empty Faces and their ability to help the godbinders get to a Senshi. Whoever we send, we have to consider that it is likely that whichever Senshi we send to deal with the jailbreak will have the godbinders go after them more easily, as happened with Jupiter and Moon this turn. We should probably send either Venus or Mars in as they are at the least risk of godbinder intervention by virtue of lower familiarity.

I don't think that's really such a big worry. Especially if you also have someone winding up the binding with long-range magical artillery or teleportation onto their heads.

Also I think it was just proven that the Brits have a way to disable the invisibility of the empty faces so the reinforcements might not need that ability.

Not so bad, its not Solo Senshi, its Senshi with allies, and we've seen that while the target can't affect the ropes, to allies they are just rope.

The target of the godbinding ritual can affect the ropes, but it's very hard. Other people can affect them, but it may take special effort- note that it took two fairly strong yokai to stop Sailor Jupiter from being dragged, and that when Lym wanted to cut her loose of the ropes she used a magic weapon.

Would giving out contract magic be a solution to the godbinding ritual? Just never show up and have our totally not Pretty Cure team of Cure Moon, Cure Venus, Cure Mars, Cure Mercury, and Cure Jupiter running around fucking up Onogoro. Pretty Cures seem like the solution to the godbinders if they aren't effected, which I can't imagine they would be. Sure, they would be weaker but they would still have like 30 prowess.

My understanding of what Senshi are is that running around as Precures wouldn't actually affect what the Godbinders are doing to them unless the chains are only affecting the transformation rather than anything else. You'd essentially be relying entirely on the Senshi glamour to stop dots being connected.

I know the one team of noble kids met the White Meteor, and I'm pretty sure it came up during that. At least, they had the explanation of Jewel Seeds with the giant super rat.
IIRC, she introduced herself and told them the jewel seeds were from a long-dead alien civilization, but I don't think she mentioned a living alien civilization potentially showing up to help. She didn't say anything about Yuuno, and Team Stallion only inferred she was in contact with someone because when she introduced herself she noticeably stopped short of giving her real name before giving her alias and gave rather vague reasons for leaving ASAP.

No, I'm saying that the Senshi learn how to be the source of power in a contract with someone else. The Senshi themselves never show up at all, their contractors do. We could even choose some people who already have combat abilities if we need them to be stronger. Granted we might not even need to do anything like thst considering at least a couple Pretty Cures are close to beating their final villains so they might be able to just swap to Onogoro as their arc two villains.

We might as well simply make power armour if we want to empower others. And as for getting the Pretty Cures involved against Onogoro, I feel that's a hard no. It's bad enough that we have Nanoha here, getting kids involved that don't have their identities protected via glamour is a really bad idea.

I wonder how hard it would be to make a glamour artifact. Also I assume that contacts are easier at least for the short term because they already exist and there are already people using them. We would just need to find someone to teach us. Plus we already want to look into it so other people can use Sailor Moon's Awakening spell.

Since we can already resurrect the dead in the right circumstance, it's possible we could just short circuit the whole conflict with Precia if we ever figure out what she is trying to do.
Alicia has been dead for a while. I'm sure we can eventually get the ability to resurrect the long dead, but I'm not sure if we will have the ability to do so by then. Also I'm not sure if subjecting Alicia to Precia's parenting skills is a good idea.
Precia: "sailor moon please resurrect my daughter"
Sailor Moon: [confusedly points to fate]
P: "what, that thing? no, throw it out i dont need it anymore. my daughter is right this way-"
SM: "<Beacon of War>"
I'd say that Jail and Precia got closer to bringing back Alicia than UQ Selene did to bringing back UQ Serenity.

The difference is that Selene accepted Usagi as her daughter, and Precia rejected Fate as her daughter.
On the one hand, it's entirely possible that attempting to resurrect Alicia will result in angering Precia if it turns out that her creation of Fate worked like a small-scale version of what Queen Selene's spell did, just more targeted and with better memory retention, and we tell her, "looks like you already reincarnated your daughter, this whole thing was pointless!"

On the other hand, we've had hints of Metallia's reincarnation being around right now despite Metallia not having died yet, and I remember something about Ikuko having a dream about being helped out by twin daughters of Usagi, which may foreshadow a resolution of the Black Moon arc which lets Black Lady exist as her own person while also saving Midori from ever having to go through whatever would have turned her into Black Lady. Because that seems like the most Usagi solution to the problem of "abandoning daughter to terrible fate = bad, retconning someone out of existence also = bad".

And if the power of the Silver Crystal could do that, then I imagine it could also resurrect someone and allow them to live alongside their own reincarnation. Of course, that still leaves the problem of Precia's abuse of Fate for not being exactly the same as Alecia...

Considering Sailor Moon time travel doesn't work on continuation of causality and the Dark Moon Clan hasn't already retconned themselves from existence, I assume keeping both Black Lady and Midori would be pretty easy. People who have time traveled like that seem to be semi removed from time and kinda from other tinelines after all.

Also, "one version of our daughter is about to be wiped from existence" is very much the kind of trigger that will push us fully over the edge into going cosmic power and just telling the laws of causality they will shut up and sit down if they know whats good for them. We might crash pretty badly afterwards, but we would never regret it.

Everyone: "You can't just meet yourself face-to-face using time travel, Usagi! That would ruin the timeline!"
Manga NQS: "Oh yeah? Hold my Holy Grail and watch this!"

Perks of being a magical girl!

The mydriad forces of evil and darkness are nothing compared to a honest soul going screw you we're stopping this.

Wait, wut? :V
Where are you getting that idea from? Do you mean Ranma and that whole evolved Nekokan/Dragon-style thing? Besides, Lunaryon has already established what Metallia actually is (the Star Seed of the Sun and, therefore, the entirety of the Sol System/Runasol) and, unless Deusmast has just done too much damage to 'her', I believe the plan is to save and free her from the corruption.

If you want to provide other examples from the quest, I'm willing to read them.

We've already borrowed Pretty Cure help in the Night Market raid, and it should be noted that many though not all Pretty Cures get dramatic makeovers from their transformation to the point where they really shouldn't have much to fear from Onogoro recognizing them.

I'd say the big issue is that Pretty Cures don't have nearly as much of a power gap between themselves and the kind of heavy hitters Onogoro can rummage up. They might get mobbed and taken down, or simply overwhelmed despite their abilities.

I'm a bit shaky on the part where Lunaryon "established" that exactly this is exactly what Metallia is underneath the Deusmast corruption.

To be fair, it seems more like rookie magical girls aren't heavy hitters, but the OG Pretty Cures Black and White hit Prowess 30 awhile ago and we haven't seen them in ages. Assuming they still have their powers, since not all Pretty Cures keep them after they win I guess, they might hit pretty hard by now.

Black and White are one of the hardest-hitting teams alongside Smile, Splash Star, HeartCatch and a couple others. Black and White are probably way stronger than the last time we saw them, and they haven't even gotten to Max Heart yet!
