I feel that my day has just significantly improved, because this is now a thing.

Rabbit quest go!

There isn't really another character short term that's well suited to intrigue as far as I can remember. Also we have a -2 to it, and Luna has a 13!

I don't really care much about the OP vote. both can be seen as good or bad depending on the reasoning. Going to school could be seen as trying to escape from your (very real) problems, delaying it might be taken as being impatient when, in the end, waiting a few hours should literally make no difference.

Just hopping on the wagon into town.

[X][OP] You normally leave later than this, so demanding answers from Luna about everything she said last night should be fine!

I'm pretty much a noob at sailor moon content, but I'd like to play this game anyways. Is there any foreknowledge I need to know before playing?

Given that I am starting this quest literally the morning after Sailor Moon's awakening, there really isn't a whole lot that you need to know before diving in, as Usagi is learning everything right along side you.

Of the things mentioned in the first episode - When Luna first gives Usagi her transformation trinket, she mentions a Princess of the Moon, and that there are additional guardians.

She has tasked Usagi with finding these other guardians, and most importantly, finding the princess and protecting her.

Also there is this guy called Tuxedo Mask who popped out of nowhere when Usagi nearly lost her nerve during her monster fight.

He showed up, threw a rose stem first so card it cracked concrete, gave a speech that was basically 'Sailor Moon! Stop bawling. Try throwing a punch, you might be good at it. TUXEDO AWAAAAAYYYYY' and then promptly left.

Oh, also the monster that attacked kidnapped your best friend's mother and replaced her, selling cursed jewelry that would absorb the life energy of those who wore it.

Naru was conscious for at least part of the fight, but Luna said that it would be best not to mention what happened to Naru, as she is a regular human and has no place in the war against the darkness [USAGI HAS FORGOTTEN WHAT LUNA SAID](Serenity has most certainly NOT forgotten)

So what im getting from that is that if we go to school first we'll spill the beans to Naru or in other words recruit her.

Not sure about Luna. Intrigue or Learning.
Intrigue has the biggest boost to training a Stat. But Learning has the chance to get rid of our biggest Flaw Lazy. And it drains 5 Stat points total.

Recruitment is good.

I'd argue her biggest flaw is impatience. Impatience makes mistakes.

And Intrigue not only gives the biggest boost to a stat, but the biggest boost to her worst stat.

I mean Luna is still asleep, so we might as well go to school instead.

Well damn I wanted Luna to have another role but hey such is life, I'm curious as to how things will develope.

To be fair, there's nothing saying that Luna can't switch roles once we have more Sailor Scouts, err, I mean other completely unknown advisors to choose from. Particularly if not all advisors have the "chance to remove negative trait" aspect.

Alright, after a bit of conversation with some people on Discord, I am taking back the save from the trait kicking in, since this is the...

Well, its basically a tutorial, and the whole point is allowing you to see the fail state without any major suffering due to the low stakes.

Still need the
a d100 +13 for Diplo
a d100+7 for Learning
and a d100+0 for Intrigue

Rolls, but I am sticking with the ten that you originally rolled.

a d100+7 for Learning
I got you.

Also I see we're doing anime Usagi instead of manga Usagi. Fair.

Oh boy.

Also poor Serenity/Selene/whatever. Being stuck inside a dream and only existing when asleep. Ooph.
well, here's the first d100

ok, so 10+13 = 23 diplo? :(
Wa~Wa~Waaaa~

:V

Edit: ... Well now I just feel kinda bad getting a soft-crit like that.
ShadowAngelBeta threw 1 100-faced dice. Reason: Learning Total: 93
93 93

So all the rolls save for learning, which gets a artificial 100, suck?

Well ok then.

...I mean, after a conversation on Discord about the proper DCs for these, I found myself being convinced of a D10 system instead of a D100, allowing for stats to actually have an appreciable effect on rolls...

but then we get this near perfect roll which would be a shame to get rid off, but given the other rolls...

Yeah.

a d10 +13 for Diplo DC 15
a d10+7 for Learning DC 12
and a d10+0 for Intrigue DC 9

For each of these instead
