All together, Usagi isn't exactly surprised when Ami approaches the girl, only hours after they get home from London.

Despite how exhausted Usagi is, she isn't going to give any of her Senshi less than all of her attention, so while the girl yawns, she still makes sure to keep her eyes locked with Ami's. "Usagi..." The blue haired Senshi starts, not quite able to match Usagi's gaze, instead the girl is all but collapsed in on herself.

Her shoulders are hunched, one arm crossed in front of her and holding onto her other elbow, knees pressed against each other, and more importantly the way that Ami hangs her head, looking down at the ground instead of at her friend.

"I'm here, Ami." Usagi says simply, leaning back in the chair that Usagi had claimed in the still not entirely functional base. "Just take your time."

"..." Amy opens her mouth, about to say something, but she pauses. The girl stands there for a moment, thinking, and Usagi can see the way that things start to move through the Senshi of Knowledge's head, as little by little, the worst parts of Ami's stance iron themselves out.

First her knees steady, no longer pressed against one another, even the fearful look on Ami's face starts to fade, replaced by the girl biting at her lower lip, which is just... Just... Usagi doesn't know what the word she is looking for there is, but it makes her want to just gather Ami up into her arms and never let her go.

Little by little and moment by moment, Ami seems to come to a decision, to make a choice and figure out what it is that she wants to say. Until finally, the girl manages to meet Usagi's eyes, which seem to almost glow with an inner strength.

"I want to fight you." Out of everything that Usagi was expecting Ami to say, she can't say that was the most expected thing, but by the same degree, it wasn't the thing she expected the least. That, by the by, Usagi can't help but note would be Ami coming to her to ask for permission to date Jadeite.

Still it won't do to ignore the girl's desires. And... to be completely honest, Ami was the Senshi hurt the worst during the fight with Kunzite. It makes sense that she wants to get better, that she wants to get stronger.

Of course, the fact is that they were both exhausted, given they'd only just gotten back home, so fighting right there and then wouldn't work. Instead a decision was made. The next day there was a fight, and Mercury lost. Badly.

So the day after, there was another fight. And again. And again. And again. Usagi isn't sure exactly when the nature of the spars shifted, twisting around such that Usagi was doing more teaching than fighting, but it was happening, over and over and over again.

And despite Ami's frustrations at continuing to lose, the girl was getting better. She was getting stronger, faster, better.

Over the course of two weeks, the two Senshi spar again and again, over and over. In a way, it seems like Ami isn't getting any stronger, but that isn't exactly true either.

Because if there is one thing that it truly worth noting, it is the fact that Ami always brought something new to the table, something that changed and grew her abilities, even if her body didn't get better.

CHOOSE FOUR:
[ ][Ami] Shine Aqua Illusion
- An oddly named attack in which Sailor Mercury gathers water particles in her hands, before firing them off as shards of ice that slow enemies
-- Gives a bonus to Prowess, and a minus to enemy prowess
[ ][Ami] Shine Aqua Cutter
- With a slashed hand, Sailor Mercury fires off a pressured blade of water to an opponent
-- Gives a bonus to Prowess, can cause remarkable damage to the surroundings
[ ][Ami] Shine Snow Illusion
- Create a localized Snow Storm that chills enemies, slowing them
-- Gives a minus to all enemy prowess
[ ][Ami] Aqua Ribbon Upper
- An attack that fires off two blasts of water, one after the other that explode when they hit, knocking the enemy off of their feet
-- Gives a bonus to Prowess, and potentially negates two enemy attacks
[ ][Ami] Mercury Aqua Mirage
- Sailor Mercury fires off two blasts of pressured water, but one is an illusion, making the attack harder to dodge
-- Roll twice, take the higher roll for this round of Combat
[ ][Ami] Mirage Wave
- Create a Mirage around Sailor Mercury and her allies, making it appear that there are multiple copies of them
-- Causes enemies to have to roll a d12 and if they roll a 10 or higher they automatically miss.
[ ][Ami] Mercury Weather: Aurora Cannon
- This spell is strange. The planet Mercury has practically no atmosphere to speak of, and yet... When Ami draws on the power of the planet, she can feel it, a glimmering aurora that wraps around the planet, shining at all hours of the day, glimmering with the light and the love and the hopes of it's people. Those hopes, those dreams they are gone. Yet... Not forgotten. Calling on this power allows Mercury to unleash a beam of brilliant kaleidoscopic force that strikes at the enemy with all the rage of a dead people.
-- +2 Pro, May only be used once per combat. During the round that this spell is cast, ALL ENEMIES ROLL TWICE and take the lower.
[ ][Ami] Mercury Weather: Spiral Heatsink
- This spell is strange. The planet Mercury has practically no atmosphere to speak of, and yet... When Ami draws on the power of the planet, she can feel it, the way that something is stuck. It should be turning, it should be whirling, dancing. The girl doesn't even know what she is talking about here, but it doesn't matter. Calling on this power summons forth a whirling vortex which sucks out and consumes every iota of heat in the area, creating ice from every side which turns the entire area around the girl into a buzz saw storm of icy bladed winds
-- +2 Pro. When this spell is cast, it hits everyone, and no one has the ability to strike back at Ami. Additionally, for the next round everyone other than Ami takes -5 Prowess
[ ][Ami] Mercury? Weather: Misty Nights
- Technically this isn't a new spell, but instead an upgrade to Sabão Spray, learning from the strange effects that this spell had when cast in London. The way that the magic itself flowed and directed the Spellblades while at the same time preventing the Youma from fighting at their best.
-- All Senshi gain +1 Pro, all enemies gain -3 Pro
[ ][Ami] Winter Wonderland
- In trying to reverse engineer the spell that she used when temporarily aged further, Ami has developed this spell, which greatly reduces the temperature around the girl, which combined with unleashing water vapor into the surrounding air makes it begin to snow. Due to being nowhere near the level of the original spell, this has evolved into something entirely new.
-- Can only be cast once per combat and lasts two rounds. All spells that Mercury casts have their number values increased by one, however it weakens all fire magic spells by 1 as well.
[ ][Ami] Dual Cast Mode I
- THIS OPTION COSTS THREE VOTES
- This isn't actually a Spell, but Ami spent a short time during that fight with the Nobles where she was not using the Spell casting system built into the Mercury Computer. She's never really paid attention to the system, but during one of your fights, an idea came to her. She set the System to cast a spell, while casting another under her own power. Right now, that causes the Mercury Computer to successfully cast the spell, but it lags up afterwords, and so can only be done once in a combat. Perhaps if Mercury knew more about the Mercury Computer, she could upgrade this.
-- One time per combat, Mercury can cast two spells during the same round. However, during the next round she suffers from -3 Pro

Despite the fact that the Senshi have over the last month defeated not one, but two of the Dark Generals, that doesn't mean that they are going to sit back on their haunches. Yes, out of everything, these two weeks are letting the Senshi get back into their own rhythms, letting them be the people that they have always been instead of just throwing themselves at every danger one after the other...

But at the same time, this is in a way who Usagi has always been, even if she didn't know it, and if there is one thing that Rei truly struggles with, it is sitting down and doing nothing.

As such, the two found themselves searching the city time and again over the two weeks, trying to find something, anything that might point them towards the Cendrellion...

But... Well... It seems that Cendrellion runs a tighter ship than Jadeite ever did. There was only a moment, near the very end of the two weeks that Usagi finally finds a lead. Or, what she thought was a lead.

It turned out to actually just be Pisard and a Zakenna. Which is odd, because Cure White and Cure Black haven't seen the man in weeks now. They thought he was dead. The warrior of the Dark Zone was shouting at the theater demanding that Jadeite show up and fight him. It would have been adorable, had he not gone after a girl and tried to kill her. Usagi stepped in, helping her out of that situation. Thankfully, by this late in the month, Rei had finished completed the last steps that the new building needed to get up and running. Combined with the fact that the Senshi had something of a curriculum, even if it wasn't much of one, Sailor Moon did have a card to give to the young woman in order to suggest that she come and check out the lessons.

And while, yes, the Senshi hadn't managed to get any closer to finding where Cendrillion is hiding out in the city, the number of locations continues to drop as little by little as the potential hiding places continue to be marked off. It won't be long at all before she is found.

Unfortunately, Alice doesn't have much free time to spend over the two weeks, which means that the girl doesn't have a chance to try and get to know the Sailor Senshi any better, making her no closer to learning the identities of her most interesting employees.

That isn't to say that Alice isn't doing what she loves - Quite the opposite actually, as Alice has not only managed to pick up a new idol for the Cinderella Caravan, but she's also found a new company on the market which is already making a name for itself. A name which will only grow bigger once the Yotsuba Group adds some strength behind them.

Makoto Kinzaki, or MakoP as she's been nicknamed by the people watching her street performances, is an amazing singer, despite the fact that it is obvious that she hasn't had any former training. What is more worrying however, is the fact that the girl seems to have been living on the streets, using homeless shelters to get showers and quite possibly stealing to feed herself, because the amount of money that people have been donating is in no way enough to make sure that she's eating right.

Really, at this point it's less about the fact that she is a good singer and more the fact that Alice can't stand the idea of anyone living on the street and not having what they need that leads the girl to setting out a contract that is more than a little weighted in favor of the girl.

...The fact that the girl had to duck out in the middle of her first interview moments after one of the Shellfish monsters attacking her city appeared, only for someone who looks a lot like Makoto to appear to face off against the monster...

Well, that didn't really have anything much to do with it. However, it does mean that Alice makes sure to pass one of Crystal Millennium's cards over to the girl just in case.

But that was just the first half of her two weeks, as the second half is instead focused on helping this new company. They are called Eclipse LLC.
After looking into the company a little, Alice managed to snatch up more than a handful of the company's stocks, an action which brought her to the attention of the President and Vice President of the company - A President Kurai and Vice President Maruyama.

The young heiress's meeting with the two was long, and exhausting though Alice can't put an exact finger on why... Just being in the room with the two seemed to be taxing, probably because both of the men seemed utterly exhausted themselves. Regardless, the meeting seemed to be a total success, and now Eclipse is paying a small weekly sum to the Yotsuba Corporation for advertising.

Some times, things just don't work out the way that you want them to. It's a fact of life. A fact that Makoto finds herself facing off against as she stares down at the letter in her hands.

The long and short of it?

She is going to have to visit her aunt and uncle to be able to approve a change of residence. It isn't that Makoto doesn't love her aunt and uncle, or that she doesn't want to see them, it's just that they are very busy, and live way down on Tsushima island.

Really, Makoto thinks the whole thing is a little silly, but it seems that Child Services doesn't. Apparently Makoto hadn't filed something correctly, and now they are being a real stickler for the rules, forcing Makoto to jump through all sorts of stupid hoops to try and move somewhere else.

This isn't the first time that the girl has moved, and normally she just gets approval from her aunt and uncle as the final step... Apparently, that's supposed to be the first step, and the fact that she's been doing it wrong this entire time doesn't matter.

No. They aren't going to be willing to accept a phonecall.

No. They aren't going to be willing to accept a fax.

They want all the paperwork filed properly, which means being filled out and mailed. This is really just the biggest irritation, and there is a moment where Makoto remembers the idea that she had once, just moving into the Senshi's office and taking up the role of Sailor Jupiter as a full time job... Really, that would make her life so much easier.

Not just because it would mean that she doesn't have to deal with all this paperwork, but also because it means that there would always be a Senshi about in case something goes wrong, and it's not even like the girl wouldn't be interacting with other people. The Senshi have employees, and pretty soon they are going to have students as well.

It isn't the perfect idea, Makoto knows this, and she knows that there are quite a few problems with the idea, but that doesn't exactly mean that it is an entirely bad idea. Hell, from at least one point of view it might be a good idea.

Really though... That's just an errant thought, something running through the girl's head as she gripes internally about the stupidity of bureaucracy and all the stupid complications that are coming with it.

Now, Ami wasn't the only person pushing to become stronger over the last two weeks. Neptune and Uranus haven't yet explained what it is was that happened with the strange nordic men that asked for the help of the Senshi.

When Usagi asked, both girls groaned as one, shaking their heads and saying that the whole situation was blown way out of proportion, and it was far too dumb for them to get into. That's not exactly an answer, but at the same time, there is something in the look on both of their faces which just makes Usagi not want to ask. And so, at least for now, so long as it doesn't cause trouble for anyone else, the girl doesn't plan to.

Especially since she knows that answer isn't going to fly for Rei, and the Senshi of Fire is going to deman an answer. Still, what it has done is light a fire under their own attempts to grow stronger. And Usagi isn't just willing to help, but given what happened in London, the girl is wanting to get stronger as well, and the Queensgard are more than willing to help.

While the other Senshi are struggling with the aftereffects of the fights that they got involved with over the weekend - Be it the battle against Kunzite that the Inner Senshi took part in, or the battle over an old defunct washing machine that the Queensgard were drawn into...

Naru snorts at the equally amusing and terrifying realization that two alien races have spent the last thousand years warring over a device that they couldn't possibly understand. They called it the Continuum Transfunctioner.

Fancy name yes, but...

It was a sonic washing machine.

So far the Queensgard have managed to keep that hidden from the rest of the Senshi, but that isn't going to last.

Regardless - While the rest of the Senshi are resting after the fights that they have been involved in, Naru starts to work on her own battle. It may not be one to the death, but it is just as important, at least in her opinion.

There is a lot about herself that she still doesn't understand, and there exists one individual who seems to know more than any other about who she is...

Ame no Uzume. A god.

Naru doesn't know what exactly is going on there. but she is going to find out.

For the first time in a long, long time, Usagi groans as she hears the alarm next to her bed going off, one hand snapping out and smacking the snooze before she rolls back over, wrapping a pillow about her head and blocking out both the light and the noise.

The last few days have been hard and long on the Senshi, and she just wants to rest for the day. All together it is about half an hour later when the girl's communicator begins to beep instead. Usagi's eyes blearily open, looking down at her wrist for a moment, trying to understand what it is that she is looking at, before her mind really kicks in. If someone is trying to call her over the communicator, then it is something important. Something that she actually needs to get up for, rather than just ignoring the morning until she's no longer tired.

Rolling up into a sitting position, Usagi runs a hand through her hair before she clicks the communicator. " 'sagi here." She says, trying to fight off the yawn that interrupts her words.

"Hey Usagi." Rei says on the other end of line. "Could you pop down to the office?" Rei says, and it takes Usagi a moment to realize what - no where it is that the girl is talking about. "Director Samui is on the line, wanting to ask you about some new hire that they've gotten." She says, and Usagi rubs at her face, before yawning once more.

"Right. Give me five minutes to wash my face." Usagi says simply, popping up to her feet and stretching for a moment. "I'll be right down."

All in all it takes a little more than five minutes, closer to ten but not yet over, before the girl heads out the door giving a jaunty wave to her parents as they eat at the table. Moving out of the line of sight of the street, Usagi takes a second glance to make sure that there isn't anyone around, before Sailor Moon disappears, shredding space and time in order to pass through the world to arrive at the roof of her new building.

It has only been a week since the Senshi gained this place, and yet it feels like it has been months and months. It's probably just because of how busy the Senshi have been, so it's hard to make sure that everything is happening. Stepping inside, the Senshi heads down the elevator, stopping at the mostly finished conference hall so that she can pick up the phone.

"Sailor Moon here." The girl says as she takes the phone.

"I am glad to hear that you are alright." Director Samui says, "I've been reading a report that the British Government sent to us..." The woman trails off for a moment, before she picks up again. "That... That's not why I called actually. I was hoping that you might be able to... I'm not sure the right word. Recommend perhaps?" Sailor Moon can't help but tilt her head, even though she knows that that won't be conveyed over the phone.

"Oh?" The Senshi asks, trying to understand what is going on.

"There was an... Incident on Friday." Samui says softly, "An individual simply teleported directly into the facility." That is enough to make Sailor Moon's blood run cold, because so far it has only been very powerful youma, and the Senshi themselves that have shown the ability to teleport, and with all the Senshi accounted for... "The individual wanted to apply to work for us."

And just like that, all idea of what is going on completely disappears out of Usagi's head. She has no idea what is going on anymore. "I... See?" She says softly, but from the tone of her voice it is clear that she doesn't.

The Director laughs, and Usagi has the distinct feeling that she is shaking her head on the other side of the line. "We put him through a decent bit of testing, everything from sparring against our other combat cleared fighter to having him check out the labs. We did everything we could to figure out who he was and what he wanted, and as far as we can tell, he is being honest."

Sailor Moon wants to speak up, to say that they shouldn't have done even that, not if they didn't know if they could trust him. "I see?" Sailor Moon asks, not entirely sure where they conversation is going at this point.

"Now, admittedly, the only reason we did any of that is because he mentioned that the Senshi could act as a Character reference."

Usagi is utterly floored at this, so thrown that she doesn't have the slightest idea how to respond to that. "He said that we would be a good character reference?" Sailor Moon asks.

"Yes." The director explains. "His name is Jadeite. If I am understanding the man correctly, he was for a time under mind control, working for the Dark Kingdom and the other threats to the Earth, which means that he knows the ins and outs of how they work, of what kind of schemes we need to look out for, and that he can specifically train us to fight against Youma instead of fighting like the Ministry."

...Jadeite has joined MCAT. Sailor Moon isn't one hundred percent sure how she feels about that, because on the one hand that means that the dark general is most certainly not fighting for Beryl or the Dark Kingdom any more, but at the same time, this is... This is someone who who lead the Dark Kingdom forces here in Japan. He did a lot of terrible things.

Of course, the fact that he is going to be working for MCAT doesn't mean that he probably won't be punished... But it means that he might not be punished, and far more importantly...

If he is working for MCAT, that means that there is a chance that you might have to fight along side him. Can you do that? Can he handle that?

"So... You're wanting like...?" Sailor Moon starts to ask, trying to figure out what it is that the Yuki-Onna is needing from her.

"Can we trust him?" She asks bluntly, leaving Sailor Moon with nothing to do but answer.
[ ][Jade] Yes
- Jadeite might have done terrible things, that is true, potentially up to and including War Crimes, but everything he did was from the point of view of trying to save the Earth.
[ ][Jade] Maybe?
- To be entirely honest, you aren't sure if MCAT can trust the former Dark General, but at the same time, the Dark General is powerful, and if he is wanting to work with MCAT, they would be stronger for it.
[ ][Jade] No
- As much as you would like to say otherwise, the fact is that Jadeite was under the effects of Mind Control for a very long time, long enough that there may be lasting aftereffects, and you do not know what kinds of effects that it can have on the man.

Sailor Moon does her best to answer the director's questions. After that, Usagi tries to ask about coming to visit MCAT proper, on a more official level than things have been so far. Unfortunately, the Senshi aren't the only ones who are going to be busy over the next two weeks, as the government organization is building up to strike at the Night Market over the next weekend. Unfortunately that means that the organization is pretty much on lock down as to make sure that no one (i.e. Empty Faces) aren't able to spill information to the Ministry. MCAT is hoping to be able to take down everything without anyone knowing any better. And they'd like for the Senshi to be involved.

Does Sailor Moon pledge the Senshi to helping take out the Night Market?
[ ][Pledge] Yes
- The Senshi agree to help with the Night Market. This will increase the amount of attention that Onogoro puts into finding and taking them down, and will be continued in... I'll take... Everything
[ ][Pledge] No
- MCAT's director is disappointed, but understands that the Senshi are involved in a lot of stuff right now. At the same time, she is also happy to know that the Senshi trust them to handle this themselves. MCAT will handle the Night Market assault on their own, and the next Turn's 'In the news' will cover what happened.

Suffice to say that Usagi, Rei, and of all people, the Queensgard are heading down to... Usagi takes a moment, checking the name on the map.

"Okay," Usagi says, looking down at the book in her lap. "I think I know what might be part of the problem."

Nagisa looks up from where the younger girl had slumped over, an almost afraid look on her face. "You're looking at all of this all wrong." Usagi says, which just makes the red haired girl raise an eyebrow, but Usagi smiles. "I had the same problem for a while."

"I'm not sure I follow." Nagisa grumbles out. "Math doesn't make any sense."

"That's because your thinking about math using these silly stories that the book has." Usagi says, which just gets another raised eyebrow, this time not from Nagisa, but from Honoka. "Let's take this problem here. 3n + 2 = 17."

Nagisa just groans. "I hate that there are letters in math."

Usagi just snorts, but continues pushing on. "So let's think about it differently. The question isn't what is N."

"Yes it is," Nagisa groans out.

"No," Usagi continues, "The question is 'If you are fighting 17 Zakenna'," Those words alone are enough to make Nagisa perk up, her mind already starting to shift into a more combat set up. And there is Pisard, Poisony, and..."

"Ilkubo." Honoka adds in. Usagi isn't sure who that is, but she nods.

"Yes, and Ilkubo. Plus there were two Zakenna to start off with, how many Zakenna did each general make?"

It is with a little bit of surprise that Honoka watches the gears in her best friend and secret crush's head start to spin, as it isn't really Nagisa middle school jock trying to figure this out, but instead Cure Black, heroine of Japan facing off against enemies in her head. "N equals 5." The girl says confidently, but the very moment that the last word leaves her mouth, she starts to shrink in on her self. "I... I think."

Honoka doesn't give the girl a chance to try and second guess herself, leaning over and giving the girl a hug "Good job!"

Usagi watches the two, a soft smile on her face as she watches the way that both of the girl's blush just a little. This wasn't exactly what she was planning on doing when she came to hang out, but helping Nagisa learn how to do math by starting to think of it like a fight is still a good use of her time. Especially when she gets to watch the two hilariously fail at flirting with each other. It's adorable.

A bit later, after helping Nagisa with the last of her homework, the magical girls spend a bit of time talking about the other side of their lives, which eventually rolls over to the question of 'Where it the Dark Zone?'

The answer is not what Usagi was expecting, but it is good news.

As far as the two Pretty Cure have been able to figure out... The Dark Zone is pretty much shattered at this point. Pisard is gone, the Pretty cure are pretty sure that he was killed by the Dark King. Gekidrago was turned to stone and shattered when he ran out of 'Light' whatever that means. Poisony sacrificed her life to safe Kiriya, who went back to the Dark King, and they haven't seen him since.

All that leaves is Ilkubo, and the two Pretty Cure have been working on a plan to defeat him as well. The girls are quiet as they explain all of this, but the most important thing is that Ilkubo has the last of the Prism Stones. Once they have his, they should be able to restore the barrier between worlds and make it so that the Dark King can't do anything.

Entering into the kitchen, Usagi blinks - Her father isn't at the table. He's always at the table at this time of the morning, normally chatting with Luna about business and things of the sort. Before the girl has a chance to try and wonder what might be different today, her father comes in from the other side of the room, an odd look on his face.

"Usagi?" Her father says, an odd look on his face. "Have you seen Luna? I was meaning to talk with her about something, but I haven't seen her at all today."

"Oh, yeah." Usagi says, "She's been pacing outside my window all morning." The girl explains. "There's a friend of hers arriving by plane later this morning, and she isn't sure how to go and pick him up. Something about Tokyo's security being enough to keep her out. "

"A friend of hers?" He asks, sounding more than a little interested, but Usagi isn't exactly sure why.

"Yeah, his name is Artemis. He's... Like her." Usagi explains basically. "He really hates the cat carriers that he has to ride in to travel by plane."

"Hmm... I can help with that." Kenji says, glancing up at the clock. "Probably at least. What time does he arrive?"

"The plane that he and Minako are on is supposed to land at about eleven." Usagi explains, which makes Usagi's dad look down at his watch.

"Yeah. I'll go let her know." Ikuko says, heading out into the yard.

Rather than spending their time sparring or jogging or any of the many different things that Makoto likes to do, Usagi this time around decided to show the taller Senshi something that she enjoys doing instead.

The two were having a lot of fun, trying out all sorts of different games that Makoto hadn't tried out before, and even better - Makoto and Motoki seemed to hit it off great immediately. Makoto clearly enjoys Motoki's drier sense of humor, and everything was going swimmingly.

At least until some mysterious young man called 'Master Five' showed up. Dressed in a thick coat, a large beanie and the biggest pair of shades that Usagi has ever seen, the young man is some kind of video game champ who hasn't been seen in over a year. Particularly, the guy holds all the top scores on every fighting game cabinet in the arcade.

Once Motoki realized that the young man had arrived, things started to get out of hand, as the whole arcade ended up getting drawn into a massive fighting game tournament to try and dethrone him.

Usagi knows that she is pretty good at fighting games, and as she discovered over the course of the tournament, she's actually only gotten better since becoming a Senshi, despite the fact that she hasn't spent nearly as much time at the arcade.

Makoto might not be quite as good as Usagi, but that seems to be less a difference in skill, and more a difference in knowledge. There is a tiny part of Usagi that can't help but wonder... Is she cheating? Sure, that might sound a little silly on the front of it, because Usagi is just playing the game, but at the same time she knows that she has an unfair advantage over the rest of the players. Usagi is able to read the actions of her opponents far better than she could before - Youma tells are a lot more subtle than the ones on the screen, and to add on to that...

As a Senshi, Usagi is faster than any of the other players, and does that really make a tournament like this fair?

In the end however, the girl's worries are entirely blown out of the water...

Because for all the advantages that Usagi thought she had, Master Five could counter. She was faster, because she was a Senshi, and yet he seemed to know the game inside and out, able to dodge with frame perfect timing, sliding up and under her guard despite the fact that the girl could see it coming.

Two whole rounds, and in the end as the words "PERFECT" appeared on the screen, Usagi couldn't help but be in awe of the young man and all his skill. Cheerful blue eyes glimmer from behind the boy's shades, and there is something about that that is... Familiar...

Usagi can't put a finger on exactly what, but the two shake hands, and Usagi even got a bit of prize money from the pot that everyone threw together when the tournament started.

[GAIN 15 FUNDS]
Of course, there is the question of just what from the games that Usagi might be able to use in the future... To be honest, Usagi isn't quite sure yet, but there in the back of her head ideas are percolating.

Little by little, Usagi's family is starting to get used to the ideas of magic existing. That might sound like an oddly silly thing to say, given the fact that both her mother and her brother are able to use magic now, but it is still a thing.

Her father may be friends with Luna, but there are still times that he seems... Not exactly nervous around magic, but there is definitely something there, Usagi just isn't sure what. Really, Usagi is happy to see that the majority of her family isn't pulling away from her...

But... For all that the majority of her family isn't pulling away, that doesn't mean that some of her family isn't pulling back. Her father is working longer hours, and Usagi isn't sure if it's just because of the way that the world is going insane, or because the man is trying to stay back away from the family for longer...

On the other hand - Shingo. Usagi's brother is getting a little out of hand. The boy seems to be getting angrier and angrier with each passing day, and Usagi isn't sure what the cause is. He doesn't seem to be a reaction to getting magic, as her mother isn't having any reaction like this, and so...

So without a better idea of what to do... Usagi decides that the best way she can try and snip the both of these potential problems in the bud is to try and...

And...

And show her family that magic isn't something to be afraid of? That... That isn't quite right, but at this point Usagi isn't sure of what she is trying to say. All Usagi knows for certain is that she doesn't want to lose her family.

But it isn't as easy as she would like to imagine. Despite the way that she tries to get her brother's attention and his interest...

The boy just isn't interested in some musty old book. How is Usagi supposed to react to that? the girl just doesn't know. She... She just...

Day by day, she is watching as her brother slips further away, and Usagi isn't sure what else she can try to reel him back in before their relationship is damaged forever. And the worst part...

There is a part of Usagi that wants to just let him go. If he doesn't want to be a part of the family, Usagi is starting to struggle to want to keep pulling him back. That is very much the last thing that she wants, but... But still...

Every time that the girl holds her hand out, he smacks it away. It's tiring.

Usagi isn't one to dwell on the negative aspects of all this however, and instead there are hours where the girl speaks with her parents, the three going over the primer as Usagi does her best to try and explain everything she can.

Of course, there are things that she can't explain, but that is just the nature of something as complicated as magic. It is also the nature of Usagi, who has never been the best at explaining things, but she has been getting better. Usagi manages to get through it all, and while her parents have more questions than they started with, they actually have answers to some questions. So Usagi managed to get at least a little down for them.

If one were to try and describe Mana Aida in a single word, that word would inevitably be 'Helpful'. Already class president for her second year running, Mana can't help but want to try and reach further, which is why the girl is currently laminating the posters which she plans to hang up around her school to announce her intention to join this year's running for Student Council President.

Now, while Mana is quite certain that she is all but a shoe-in for the position, it isn't that the girl is arrogant or has an inflated sense of self-importance - In fact, if you were to ask either of her best friends, both would say that the girl really needs to learn how to take better care of her self. No, the thing that makes Mana so certain that she is going to achieve her goal is a simple self confidence that fills her every step, her every movement.

And how can the girl not be feeling confident right here and now? One of her best friends forwarded her information to a superhero! Mana is going to be tutoring a SUPER HERO!

For a hero to be searching her out for help... Well, if that isn't a confidence booster, than Mana frankly isn't sure what would be.
But of course, the very fact that Mana is going to be meeting a super hero is why she needs to hurry up and finish the job that she is doing now so that she isn't late.

It still hasn't quite sunken in. She's going to be helping a Super Hero.

...Usagi stares at the girl laying on the couch in the break room of the Crystal Millennium building. She hasn't moved from the spot since she arrived nearly three and a half hours ago. She isn't crying, which is... Something, at the very least.

The leader of the Senshi slowly moves across the room, before she sits down next to Minako. The girl doesn't react, just continuing to lay there, a pillow firmly in her clutches, knuckles white from the sheer force of her grip.

...

...

"Do you want to talk about it?" Usagi asks, and for a long moment Minako is silent.

Then, softly. "They wouldn't even let me in." Her words are so soft, completely unlike the girl that Usagi first met, who was willing to throw down with the strongest of the Senshi, who had a smile on her face the entire time. The girl in front of Usagi sounds... Broken.

A year of her life. Minako gave up a year of her life to fight against the Dark Kingdom, the Dark Agency, and all the other threats of the world. She gave up school, she gave up whatever friendships she had, and she gave up her family in order to make the world a better place...

And now that she finally has a chance to try and fix things, a chance to try and finally get things back to how they were a year ago...

But that is just it isn't it? Things aren't the way that they were a year ago. Usagi carefully pats Minako's head a few times, just waiting, ready for whenever Minako is ready to really speak.

Friday, June 5th, 1992
More and more, Usagi finds herself being faced with figures from her past. Endymion and Jadeite and Pandora and now Kunzite. Again and again, each of these figures seem to find themselves confused when Usagi continues to be herself.

Each time that it happens, Usagi is left to quietly wonder just what kind of person was Serenity?

Sure, she can sort of remember what happened when the girl used the Disguise Pen to transform into the Princess... but that...

That isn't the same. That isn't what she is looking for. And it is that wondering about her past life that leads to Usagi sitting in the staff room of the Crystal Millennium, idly turning the device in her hands over and over.

The Ordel. It...

It's a music box. Something that her last life owned, and Usagi can't help but wonder if listening to this might somehow help her figure out anything about her last life. At the same time however, the girl stalls, staring at the device.

The last time she tried to learn about her last life, it tried to steal away her current one.

It isn't completely fair, but... there is a part of the girl that is almost afraid to try and learn more about her past. Or... Maybe that's not exactly the right way to phrase it. Instead she is afraid of the aftereffects of trying to learn more.

But Usagi hasn't gotten to where she is now by letting fear control her. If she was afraid, then she wouldn't have ever had the will to pick up the brooch that Luna gave her. She wouldn't have had the will to step forward to save Naru.

So the girl takes a deep breath, and she slowly starts to count back from ten, with each number she winds up the box in her hands.

Then, as she reaches zero, she carefully opens the lid...

And remembers

Sailor Moon stands on the roof of the Crystal Millennium building, her eyes slowly turning one by one by one to each of the other Senshi - Or at the very least those who are powered by a planetary tap. As much as Usagi wishes that she could bring Naru along... Every ounce of her memories says that no.

Doing that would just leave Naru dead, and that is not an option that can be allowed to happen. Even so, there is a part of Sailor Moon that is... worried about doing this. The dreams have been calling her, day in and day out since she finally met with Sailor V, to the point where the girl hasn't been sleeping nearly as well...

At the same time, there is a part of this the girl that says that this is crazy, and in a very real way it is.

But none of the other senshi have given a hint that they are not ready for this. That they are not willing to go with her. And the best that Usagi can do is meet her Senshi's respect with respect of her own.

Without a word, it starts with Sailor Mercury, who reaches out, grabbing hold of one of Sailor Venus's hands. The Senshi of Love then reaches out to Sailor Mars, and one after another the rest of the Senshi slowly form a ring around Sailor Moon.

Sailor Moon holds out the Ordel, and speaks.

「Take me Home」

There is a flash of light, bright enough to be seen for miles, and far above, high above, beyond the reach of the atmosphere, there is a glimmer, a match yet so tiny that only those dedicated to watching the moon might have seen it. But even then, only had their eyes been watching Crater Posidonius at the very moment.

The Senshi have arrived on the Moon.

- An attack that fires off two blasts of water, one after the other that explode when they hit, knocking the enemy off of their feet
-- Gives a bonus to Prowess, and potentially negates two enemy attacks
[X][Ami] Mirage Wave
- Create a Mirage around Sailor Mercury and her allies, making it appear that there are multiple copies of them
-- Causes enemies to have to roll a d12 and if they roll a 10 or higher they automatically miss.
[X][Ami] Mercury Weather: Aurora Cannon
[X][Ami] Mercury? Weather: Misty Nights
- Technically this isn't a new spell, but instead an upgrade to Sabão Spray, learning from the strange effects that this spell had when cast in London. The way that the magic itself flowed and directed the Spellblades while at the same time preventing the Youma from fighting at their best.
-- All Senshi gain +1 Pro, all enemies gain -3 Pro

Dual casting sounds neat, and it's arguably worth it, but after this last fight I'm not eager to force Mercury to eat a -3 Prowess whenever she uses it. I'm also not sure it's worth 3 of the turn's potential spell slots.

[X][Jade] Maybe?
- To be entirely honest, you aren't sure if MCAT can trust the former Dark General, but at the same time, the Dark General is powerful, and if he is wanting to work with MCAT, they would be stronger for it.

If he'd actually joined up with us and we'd had the time to take his measure since he's surrendered I might vote yes, but we really haven't gotten to know him well enough to give an honest unreserved yes.

[x][Ami] Mercury Aqua Mirage
- Sailor Mercury fires off two blasts of pressured water, but one is an illusion, making the attack harder to dodge
-- Roll twice, take the higher roll for this round of Combat

This gives Ami +4 to Prowess and a Team buff that gives the entire team a +1 to Prowess and Ami right now really needs the Prowess Buff.

[X][Ami] Dual Cast Mode I

Ami is at the point where she has enough spells that she simply will be unable to cast them all in three rounds of combat. The Dual Cast Mode option, though costly and with a drawback, directly improves her action economy.

[X][Jade] Maybe?

If Jadeite had not directly told MCAT that he did in fact work for the DK, had not admitted to this, he would not be remotely trustworthy. At least for purposes of working with the MCAT, I think he can be trusted. BUT, Usagi doesn't have the access to Omakes that we do. She would definitely hesitate a bit. It shouldn't be a no, though. And personally, I think MCAT is more likely than the average organization to accept Jadeite even on a Maybe - they already have Youkai, which are more likely to be mistrusted by others for questionable histories.

I trust him, conditionally and in somewhat limited context, but for the purposes of MCAT, yes, i trust him.
