Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
[X] The ethereal green lights of the Grinning Moon.

As much as I want a social art, I've been a silent advocate of a stealth art for a long time. Sweet, sweet satisfaction is finally within my grasp.

I think part of the reason why people voted Cai was that Bai Meizhen couldn't pick Ling Qi up as a retainer or bring her into the fold of the Thousand Lakes, and being one of two retainers of the (at the time) only child of a new ducal power would make it easier to keep contact with her since it would elevate Ling Qi's social position. Remember, a lot of voters are biased towards increasing interactions with characters they like, and a LOT of people like Bai Meizhen.

I think being closer to Meizhen was more of an excuse to make the Cai vote more justifiable in character. Yrsillar revealed during the discussion before the vote that we would see Meizhen nearly as often even if we chose the Sect.

Because more Xin love, mantle art(without wood), LQ's weird tankiness is hilarious, but mostly because it matches her hair.

even though I think Grinning's art will win. That's my second preference anyway, so I'm not annoyed.

This is my first time participating this quest by voting as well. It's been fun to read.

Seen a couple of the arguments in thread. This was my gut go too, but I read through to see if anything changed my mind. I the end I think dodging the Hutus more important than taking it. I also think having a legit stealth art would be great. Overall it also fits the best. Hopefully it's something we can turn on, like TRF or a mantle. That would make this so much better, as we could use all the current arts we use. It would just fit in well without current best debuff/buff fighting style.
