Slipping in just under the wire!

[X] A serpentine hair ornament of dark jade and silver wire, meant to be woven into a braid.

Because Bai Meizhen knows that Li Suyin is better at dealing with the Ith than anyone the Bai have at an equivalent or nearly equivalent level of power. She wouldn't give something that Qi could get elsewhere. She would lean into the strength of the Bai, and what she sees as a personal deficiency in Ling Qi: lack of vengeance.

I can't remember if it was meizhen or Lan Lan that showed disdain for Ling Qi's choking powder hair clip after their girls shopping trip.

I feel like a gift saying "THIS is how you do offensive hair ornaments," fits meizhen's character. The choker seems way more practical specially after taking the ith corruption blade to the neck... but that was an emotional trip for Lan Lan and Mama Ling.

But war is coming against the ith and LQ will no doubt strain herself to breaking (again) so

[X] A fine, midnight blue choker, from which hung a thumb sized clear gem, set in silver.

Ngl this whole choker/gift thing is pretty fruity if you look at it in the right light /s
