It is good to see that Biyu is an inquisitive girl with the appropriate reaction to a giant spidery ball of Floof even if she still needs to learn how to appropriately interact with sophants of a more animalistic body plan

and it is more heartening still to know that Biyu has a love of all Smol Floofs regardless of species as is only good and proper.

I wonder if a Biyu heading off towards the our old Alma Mater the Argent Sect might find herself accompanied by one of the descendants of her "Aunties" Spirit Beastsinstead of one of Qui's pups or if she would prefer to forge a lifelong bond with whatever Spirit/Beast she may find upon the Argent Peaks.

She might also go to the Sect accompanied by a young beaver spirit from the glacier.

If we had, hopefully, dealt with the glacier's starbeast infection by then it wouldn't be strange for the Ling Clan to establish a companionship with them.

It would also fit the Ling Clan's image among the other ES clans to appear at the Sect with a weird, previously unheard of Spirit Beast.

TRULY. This one was so touching and "so fast and natural", didn't make a whole scene but we get to see what biyu thinks when she is with her, and it's so precious to see LQ be in the receiving end of consideration and love

...and with Ing Qi's new art, that's even more the case. She can just lolnope lethal strikes against her sister... almost indefinitely. Certainly long enough to solve whatever the immediate problem is.

Side note: Just read the latest Journey to the east on RR, and... damn. Zheng got game.

I have to wonder how much of it is blind faith in LQ and how much Biyu being really good at spiritual perception?

There were other signs like hearing Zhengui unawakened, and being the fastest to both detect Qi's presence via domain and then quickly figure out it made her harder to get hurt.
