If we both are participating LQ is better suited for this one, Yu Nuan has Qiu to help with the hunt, we are better at dodging and going fast

Actually, could I get a clarification @yrsillar ? Is Yu Nuan playing the opposite game than Ling Qi or are they both playing the same game?

What's funny is that both objectives are Heists. One's a full-contact heist that uses a wild storm as the distraction necessary to make off with the contested prizes. The other is probably a treasure hunt full of riddle-clues, not only the challenge to secure loot but also figuring out what the targets should be without prior planning to assist. Both should be really fun, actually! I don't have a preference for which we go with c:

I love the idea that one of the things Yu Nuan wants to work on is the fact that the Thunder follows the Lightning. That means her Thunder movement is reliant on Lightning and she hates not being able to simply move on her own terms. It bothers her that the Thunder has to follow the Lightning. That's such a Yu Nuan thing to be annoyed about lmfao.


We know Han Fang uses some Thunder based movement, but it seems to me like he's embodying a "Calm Before the Storm" motif. As in, he's also the silence that directly precedes the Thunder. I think that's how he's solved that conundrum.

Meanwhile, Ji Rong simply embodies the Lightning instead. I don't know how much Thunder he has in his build, as we know he's very much a primarily Lightning/Heavens cultivator, but the ability for him to embody the Lightning solves the issue of Thunder acting after something else rather than freely.


It strikes me that any Argent Thunder Movement Art would have had Yuan He to provide the Lightning for it. Literally all the Argent Sect Soldiers with it would have more than ample opportunity to use it between the spaces of the mighty storm that is Yuan He.

I think all of this rhymes somewhat with the discussion in the beginning about the Hui Grandmaster. The boiling Anger may be mighty and powerful, but without some sort of creative spark or inspiration to get people's attention it'll ultimately fail to cohere into a proper Storm. No wonder the Grandmaster Hui died, if he'd been able to gather a Storm behind him he could've really upended the stagnation of the Hui
 
They both sound really fun, I would be fine with any.
The chase sounds the best suited for Laughing Thief, but the scavenger hunt could be a good training for the Opened Vault? I'm sure some of the prizes would be behind barriers we'll hace to bypass.

In any case, Yu Nuan already seems to have a good relationship with Leigong, so I would prefer to try and get the wife for ourselves.

This is the one that sounds like is applies to Yu Nuan's focus more. We rarely see her so we should try and get the best out of her narrative facetime as we can. Ling Qi is pretty well suited for either task anyway and this is the one that sounds more exciting in my opinion.

Since we are both playing the same game this is the one that seems like it would be the most fun for both of us to play since she's working on her movement. Plus now I'm expecting us to steal from other competitors with the opened vault which sounds like a ton of fun!
