Is that more clear? Maybe it should emphasize that peer is connected to scrying and stepping is its own active thing, or it's better if these two abilities are separate from the stat increase. I wanted to use Dream Step to show that not anyone could use this as Ling Qi would but maybe that's unnecessary.

Also, maybe it should mention Perceptiveness checks instead of scrying, as in the skill rather than the Derived Attributes. I don't think Ling Qi was using Combat Perception when she detected the Shishigui drums a few months ago and that's something that I could see a Liminal mirror be used for.

Yeah, that'd be reasonable enough. If you're worried something might be going too far, then you can always ask yrs.

Not sure we need it to actually allow us to step into the Liminal - just helping us see the boundary and where we're going might be enough with our developing skills and Sixiang's help, but no harm in trying. Ultimately, it feels like more of a niche utility thing that opens up interesting plotlines and development rather than something that would make us overpowered - and we're almost certainly going to develop the ability to step into the Dream on our own anyway so I don't see why it would be a problem.

Yeah, those liminal talismans are looking pretty sweet. Especially if we want to do some more dream exploration in the near future.

Nothing earth shattering or something we won't get ourselves. Ling Qi can enter the Liminal with Sixiang already, this is just more convenient and lets us enter the Dream whenever which opens up doors for easy travel, infiltration, exfiltration and exploration. She could probably do it with a regular mirror even, but I've been wanting a mirror Talisman for a while now for numerous reasons. I feel it's less niche and more versatile than the compass and solves a genuine obstacle between us and moving though the Dream, letting us do thing we literally couldn't before unlike the compass which might not lead us to anything skill, experience and Sixiang couldn't.

We do know it had more effects for cultivators above our, at the time, yellow realm.
Itcould very well have provided a domain XP multi (which I think makes sense since it was supposed to be a reward for CRX who was into the Green realm), or some Art modification/creation bonus?

Hmm not a bad haul so far, a collection of arts for our clan, a recipe to help open our inner heart meridian and make breakthrough to 4th tier easier(Winners do drugs kids), a tapestry that we can sell likely sell or keep but we'll get +1 rel to Meng if vote sticks and very nice tailsmen so far as I say that great big haul.

Edit: Big forget is those 5 jade slips for better lessons one which come in very handy for FSS+
