There's a short-circuit in that logic though. Putting aside that there is 0 evidence that Han Jian is abandoning his family's Way for the Argent Way, Han Fang is not better equipped to exemplify the main Han line's Ways. He lacks the blood, and he hasn't been cultivating the core familial arts, owing to his adoption into the clan and role as a servant.

It's not feasible for him to take Han Jian out and get elevated to the guy's place. He'd just get spanked. Even if Han Jian's dad was secretly ordering Han Fang to mess him up, it's not like Han-dad would be offering elevation to main line privileges. "They won't be main line like Heijin" "He was only adopted, that wasn't a light thing to request." Blood matters to these people.

On the other hand, it would be amazing for Han Fang to pull a Dio. First step: kick Heijin.
 
I'd also note the Han are large enough that Han Jian doesn't necessarily have to be anywhere near the queue for inheritance if he chooses not to contest. It'd be unusual, but not actually that unusual, before the Great Sects, the smaller local clan sponsored Sects basically take in the weirdos who can't into politics so they can be useful pushing cultivation research.
 
I suspect Han Fang is going to crash and burn to a Domain conflict if his brother dies.

I wonder if the low yield of the river of impurities recently is because of less dying humans under Cai rule

Has yrsillar said how rare/common are Domains that give passive buffs to allies? I'm curious about whether or not Linq Qi has been sometimes been operating under the effects of one with or without realizing it.

Yeah we automatically meet success. Our roll just determines how far we should push our luck. With 40 being what she planned to recon for(presumably below 40 she doesn't find good places or have enough time to plant the spiderzombies)

What a shit place to be I mean. Pretending to be a Han Jian quester for a moment, what even is his path here?

I think a Yin Deception social path alongside the Han combat suite makes sense for him. Because he can't assert the way he wants by nature (being with Xiulan) which means it makes sense to become Deceptive and strengthen the camouflage/mask he wears socially. I'm not actually sure the Han way *doesn't* suit him I mean. He's struggling because he's literally not free to follow his passionate heart due to familial bonds. That's sort of like a heart demon Before green right? Assuming the Han way is about Freedom, Passion and Familial Ties.

a deceptive and soft spoken social path backed up by the *desire* to be free to chase passion could be a good interpretation. Tigers may be big, powerful and swift but they're also heavily camouflaged. Like. He's too emotionally intelligent to rage against Xiulan for not being friendly with him right away, but so long as his kindness is in the open it's an obstacle. Hide it. Retreat it to the shade and watch for an opportunity. Tigers are ambush predators. Take your time Han Jian. You can be a cuddly cat one day. But, you'll probably have to fight for it.

PS. I forgot how similar Zhengui and Xiulan's struggles have been. When lanlan gets back they should hang out without us and talk about it while we. I duno. Probably a good way for him to spend time while we talk to Xuan Shi xP

It's a bit late, I was rereading and wondering what skill letter writing falls under. I am guessing speech. As more of our friends become long distance it actually might make sense to learn an art to help with it. It would make a cool advanced skill.

Still Ling Qi currently only has level F Art. Going to want more than that if we plan on maintening or even growing long range friendships.
