The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

I mean imperial law is extremely lenient when it comes to the mechanicus so I don't think they can be forced to stop unless they turn chaos and get killed for it or try to rebel and get killed for it.
Yeah, politics would seem more helpful there. Not sure law would really apply... do wonder if we could just like... double down on politics?

You know, I kind of have a question to pose to everyone—I've had my eye on this world for a while now, but I can't think of what would be an interesting chapter to put on it...
[ ] Kornan II: A World that has the unfortunate fate of being a 'gathering spot' of several Knight Houses… especially given said Knight Houses have a habit of hunting the locals of this jungle moon for sport at these gatherings. You wonder if they'll keep slaughtering the citizens they're meant to protect once their are Astartes guarding this world, blasted scum...
The thing is that I'm not sure what sort of traits this world would allow a chapter to roll for, so it's hard to think of any synergies in advance. Still, the scenario presented is pretty interesting to me.

What would be good Anti-Knight Equipment and Training?

And which genetic source would be good for this?

The closest thing I got to an interesting idea was a Night Lords intimidation/psyops-focused chapter to terrorize the hell out of the knights in an ironic reversal of how the knights terrorize the ordinary people of the planet, but I'm not so sure. That's too...stereotypical.

Night Lords or Night Lords+Salamanders. Night Lords are skilled at asymmetric warfare, adding Salamanders is likely to give more empathy for the 'little people' and expertise in meltas, which are generally anti-vehicle weapons. This would probably lead to a stealth and anti-armor chapter with fondness for taking down those they see as bullying the weak.

Da rollz!

(Same Roll)
Grief Chance 60%
Flesh is Weak Chance 20%
21: No flesh is weak but the Iron Hands secondary problem activates.

Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance.
1d5=3

Bargaining: This chapter desperately believes that Ferrus Manus death has left a hole within his gene-lianage that desperately needs to be filled and they will constantly seek out a way to fill it short of outright heresy.

Iron Hands Traits
Adaptive (Without Flesh is Weak only)
Machine Empathy

Yuruld II Traits
Vehicle Slayers
Cyborg Slayers

Do they get scavengers for free?
DC 50=41
No... but thankfully adaptive gives most of the same befits they just won't be epic at it.

Space Marines vs Knights Dawn of Justice!

The film made waaaaaay to early in the warhammer cinematic universe and without any form of proper build up!

I kid I freaking kid, just not something I'd be surprised by given the Chaos Founding just made a blatant Pokemon reference warband.

Now I wonder if the Bronze Slingers can conquer the other Yoruds. This chapter technically has no job apart from testing the bolters and testing on mechanicus factions by conquering them works.

The mortals would probably like it at least, instead of getting collaterealed everytime the 2 factions fight.

Hey, the Indigo league are totally named after their prominent use of Indigo in their color patterns and their formation from a group of aligned factions.
