@Teen Spirit just to know is Rhaenyra right here, if we had kissed her back in full strength, would we have scared her away?

And what if we went for the kiss in the cheek option?
Yes, giving in fully and kissing her back would have scared her off. A thing with Alicent that's been a bit of a running theme so far is you have to ease her into accepting something by framing it on her terms. She accepted us being a warrior even though it's improper for a lady because Rhaenyra made it clear she considered it a duty. Not holding back would basically be saying Rhaenyra has the same level of Unresolved feelings boiling within her and has no intention of keeping herself restrained now. Which terrifies Alicent for a number of reasons.

Kiss on the cheek would have worked but lead to a different kind of romance with Alicent.

Well, It is going to be funny to go for the courtly love route, although I would have preferred the kiss in the cheek for a more organic romance...
"Very well," Alicent replied, the knot within her seemingly undone at long last. "But if you're going to do this, I want you to do it properly like any knight would. I want poetry and songs and crowns of flowers in my hair. Can you do that?"
Now we need to start learning all this stuff, so better to go fo studying music...

now we definetly need to pick up an instrument and some diplo training.

question: does Rhaenyra know how to hawk or hunt? hawking was acceptable for ladies, but maybe we want to swing for actual hunting instead (good hunts were also a way to build some prestige, make connections, and gauge the mood at court).

Glad the courtly romance angle worked - was kind of worried she'd take it as being unserious, but it was just too in character.

Good to know about what Alicent will respond well too.

I think we have just ruined Steffon Darklyn's hopes of ever becoming Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. After all, it doesn't speak well of his fighting skills if a Princess can beat him in a duel.

If we can beat a Kingsguard at 15, if we keep our training there probably won't be many knights we can't beat when we're fully grown. We're beating Tarly half the time too, it sounds like.

Yo if we can get knighted at 16, we're tieing with Maegor and probably the youngest knight in the realm.

I'd guess that there will be a big tourney to celebrate the birth of our first half-sibling. Winning that as a mystery knight to earn our knighthood and crown our lady love would send a nice message.

I mean part of that was distinctly him being surprised at how strong and skilled Rhaenyra was.

Also like Rhaenyra in this has incredible natural talent as a warrior, because that's literally the only way some of her dreams would even be possible.

If we want to full send a major tournament as mystery knight before we turn 17 then I kinda think we should Jamie-train every turn, the clock is ticking for that achievement, and we can't afford to come in second.

As for the second personal… either really start studying or finally take that Visenya action and then start studying.

If we want to do training we'll need to take three actions, or rather we should take three actions, because it takes one action to set up the Progress and if we're doing the Progress we REALLY need to study Diplomacy first, dear lord. Training+Study+Prep Progress=3, which we CAN do.

We did just lose two stress.

Tarly seemed to imply he was only doing that well against her because he knows her fighting style inside and out, too. She's doing damn well. Kinda curious how our jousting is doing though. Did we get some training in for that, even if we skipped the specialized training?
Jousting is part of your regular training, same with bow and arrow.

I was hesistant to make Rhaenyra this skilled so quick but you guys have put in some very heavy training a number of times, and I figure if Barristan Selmy at 16, with trainers probably less skilled then a knight of the Kingsguard, can beat the pants of Duncan the Tall in a Tourney then we should be at least nearing that same ballpark.

I'm not sure I really get the point of the Visenya action. Like, I'm assuming she didn't do it (although it'd be really funny if learned the truth to try to clear her name and then she actually did do it). But even if she didn't do it, she was still party to Maegor's usurpation of Aegon the Uncrowned's throne. How much can her image really be rehabilitated?

I get that we've got the appellation "Visenya Reborn" but we're really only alike in that we're both female warrior's - she was a blood sorceress, we're basically a dragonrider paladin.

There are benefits to fully investigating stuff, every action from exploring the city to studying has benefits, but it's not going to like change Visenya's image in westeros that much if at all.

Yayyyy!!! I'm so happy the romantic option worked out, go Rhaenyra go!!! And the very next thing she does is prove herself so martially skilled! It's all coming together...

The two of you stared in disbelief, you hands shaking as you struggled to maintain your grip. Those watching had gone silent and even Alicent seemed stunned.

You had just beaten a member of the Kingsguard. Not only that, but you had won handily against him.

Ser Tarly's screaming laughter broke the spell over the yard, the man grasping Ser Steffon by the shoulders.

"Did I not tell you?!" he exclaimed. "Did I not tell you she was magnificent?!"

"I was not expecting her to be so skilled, or so strong," Steffon said, almost numb from surprise. "Quite strong indeed. You trained her well, Tarly."

"Thank you," he replied. "Though she was clearly a natural fighter even when I found her."

A few people in the crowd began to clap, a couple even cheered. You weren't sure if the cheers were real. You weren't sure if any of this was real.

You weren't even six and ten. How did you defeat a knight of your father's Kingsguard?

WITNESS THE POWER OF A MAIDEN IN LOVE!

Rhaenyra is going to crush everyone under her Fist of Love!

Also, I wonder if Rhaenyra's a better fighter than her uncle was at this age; I imagine probably so since Daemon afaik isn't a complete swordwizard hack like Jaime, Arthur or The King Who Bore the Sword (tm)?

Since Rhaenyra has to be very talented to succeed despite being a girl, does that mean that in-story that she's about talented as Jaime will be (would be?) in the future?

I'm excited for finally getting knighted and getting Blackfyre, I think Tarly would cry from happiness like a proud mother lol

IT is honestly kind of hard to judge Daemon's skills as a fighter because his skills are clearly in Dragon Riding specifically. And in the show we see him only win in the tourney due to basically cheating and lose because he showboated. He beat the Crabfeeder easily but the Crabfeeder was not exactly established as much of fighter.

Which crown should we wear when we become Queen: Aegon's Crown, Aenys' Crown, Jaehaerys' Crown or should we create a new crown?

Leaning towards Aegon's. Valyrian steel crown to go with Blackfyre, complete the legendary set. Gives a more martial tint than the others too, and keeps it out of any potential rival's hands.

Though speaking of Aegon, how many hints would we need to lay down to incept Viserys into not naming his son Aegon of all things?

Not only is it crazy as a name for the biggest threat to our legitimacy, but it kickstarts a very long and hard to keep track of trend in the Targ dynasty.
