Question @HeroCooky can we add a write-in to
-[x] [Psykana] Uncover The Designs For The Sacrifices
Which is a raid to disrupt/recover/gather data on the rituals? It seems like having physical samples will help us figure out more details of the ritual and potentially disrupt the ones nearby a bit.
That would be a military action to do.

[X] Plan: Putting Him to Rest

I imagine quickly putting our prophet in a nice mausoleum may stop the religious tempers from growing even hotter.

Though I'm admittedly baffled at how we're already getting a Separatist event considering that currently it takes 1/6th of the entire might of the Glimmering Federation of billions (IE, half an AP) to colonize a single world, and these weirdo heretics are going to manage to presumably colonize two separate worlds?
One thing to note:
We have standards on what our colonists live like.

But yeah, them making it would be weird.
Speaking of weird stuff happening:
Chaos is around.
Could they boost the splitoffs to spite weaken us?

hey how does the sponsorship thing work?
As a free action, we chose what company is sponsored next turn. (And this turn, as an excpetion because this is our first turn with the companies)
At this level of the trait we can chose 1 company to have sponsored out of 3. If we upgrade the trait next infrastructure milestone, we can select 2 companies out of 6 each turn.
Each company has an effect that is active while sponsored.
Currently the available options are:
[Green Horizons Colonization LTD] - Resettlement Initiatives - Increases colonized worlds by 50% if the Action {Colonize Planet/s} is used.
[New Dawn R&D] - Anomaly Identified - Uncover Points of Interest (PoI) within and without your territory every Turn this ISC is sponsored. PoI include (but are not limited to) new colonizable systems, Economic Boons, Military Relevant Resources or Locations, and more.
[Federation Post] - Messenger Fleet - Reduce the cost of improving Civilian Infrastructure by 50% (rounded down).

No, I severely doubt that would be the case. All the Heresies that are going on has nothing to do with him not getting a final resting place and more to do with Space Jesus no longer being around to keep them in line and be the undisputed religious authority of what is right.

Also, I'd really like it if we took steps towards attacking 621 since that looks really really bad there and the sooner we ramp up to crush them the better for everyone.

[X] Plan: Deal with the critical stuff first

We need to build up the military more. We'll want to press an attack against 621 before Chaos forces can destroy the remaining holdout independents. So either next turn or the turn after to secure our entry into the sector before Cha9s has had a chance to fort it up even more.

Federation's main religious organization and High Stars are still keeping them in line, even if to a lesser degree. After all, we do have a choice to turn away heretic colonists and dealing with splinters without bloodshed (yet).

If we let the Prophet lie there for decades more without proper burial place, we'll take a hit to our authority, and probably have even more problems with existing splinter faiths, if not new problems.

I don't think we have 4 actions, so why does deal with critical stuff first have equivalent of 4 actions going on or am I missing something?

Edited: my mistake, took a look at the ISC, didn't understand that bit first…have been busy most of the last few days working on family stuff.

So at least we should be getting some interesting things going on soon enough…

We do have a religious authority, but we it's not the same as having the High Prophet of the Star Child, their God's undisputed voice in the mortal world who has the final say on doctrine is the Truth and flaunting his word would definitely Heresy.

The reason that we have to deal with all these heresies now is that he's no longer around to have the undisputed final say on the matter. Like, no one can flat out disagree with Jesus' teachings and doctrine while still calling themselves a Christian, but you can disagree with the Pope while saying that you're more righteous than they are, and you might even be right about that.

And again, HeroCooky said that people are expecting this argument of where his Tomb should be and how grandiose to be something that stretches out for decades, it's not hurting any central authority for it to go on for a one or two more. Especially when we have a huge fucking Chaos Undivided Polity out there right next door sacrificing millions of people that we need to address RIGHT THE FUCK NOW!!! and I'm damn sure that Teeln would want us to rush having his Corpse a nice cozy home if it delays the liberation of people who need help.

Setting up ISCs are a free action

We have enough points to fit all designs into one AP.

My plan was to build the tomb next turn along with ship building and either an operation to fuck up the ritual or smash a heresy.

By the way, the plan should also include what Melody we are aiming for, because just like the ISC bonus, that's a free thing we get to decide now. I'd recommend one of the Kil'drabi, honestly?

so with this will you roll each turn to see what they might uncover?

Btw, my plan for next turn if Critical wins is:

1) Monument
2) Build Action (36 FP, etc, etc)
3) The Revolution School

To set the stage for an attack on 621. Obviously, if we learn something truly dire with 621 (quite likely) that may change.

Wait, can we? I think only doing the action where we learn more Melodies affects the amount of Banked Melody progress we can get.

Also, it feels like a lot of you are not treating the fact that we have an active Chaos Undivided empire right Nextdoor that has a greater Navy than ours and is conducting massive foul sacrifices with the seriousness that it deserves. We NEED to get on a war-footing and burying Teeln is not going to help with that and I seriously fucking doubt that it will help with the Heresy problem we have now.

WE NEED SHIPS! Especially Troop Transports! We need to pump up our naval power if we want to have the chance to break through and deal with them before they get any stronger.

REMEMBER, the enemy also has a say and will be using their 3 actions to improve their situation. We should do the same before their fleets get any bigger and they have more hordes of daemons.
