Anyway, let me do a final draft on the Super Taurus and the Scorpio. Especially since we're fucked in regards to rolling out the proper Leo for the foreseeable future.

No you can't put a group of people as superior to everyone else based on blood, remember the traitor Primarchs?".
Literally nobody in your half of the galaxy does. That shit got you killed if you even so much as wondered about something close. There were Inquisitors on Terra that were shocked when told: "Yeah, Big E had 20 18 sons and half sided with Chaos."
Darn, I thought our new fleet production trait would have helped improve the amount of Ships we could Design at once. At least getting to us able to design a Heavy Cruiser with one action.
It still hurts me that we haven't reached 8 DP for shipbuilding yet :(
You both are in luck, because you should (due to non-trait related reasons)!

Well then!

With that in mind, I'm inclined to roll out the Production Model Leo, so we've got a spearhead to help reduce the beatings we'll take seizing a well fortified position, but if we decide not to, it might be possible to roll out the Crux-T with that extra design capacity.

[] [Faith] Prevent The Schismatic Colonies

everyone please at least ensure we dont have to deal with this damn problem, as well as needing to crack down on all the other 6 great heresies...this is going to be painful for quite awhile, needing at least 6 other turns to get things rolling unless we do 2 a turn.

So it Goes, the crisis is ever unfolding and we are busy treading water.

So on terms of religious organizations

Wich ideas do you wanna integrate and w8ch ones get rid off?

The gendered ones appeal to me because seems to go against the trend of equity we see in other quests

Double down on that "conservative religious that would make people feel akward in real life, but still the good guys in 40k"

While the Leo would be nice, we need the Taurus-S far more. And while I was considering the Sagittarius, the Crux-T could also be nice. Then again there is that Chameleon ship we've talked about with The Laurent for a stealth insertion ship.

[] Scorpio-class Light Cruiser
-[] Length
- 4.200 Meters (-1 DP)
-[] Width - 550 Meters (-1 DP)
-[] Acceleration - 5 Gravities (-1 DP)
-[] Armor - Medium Double Hull (-1 DP)
-[] Shields - One Matrix (-1 DP)
-[] Weapons - 6x100m Torpedoes/2x Heavy Missile Batteries/Medium Bomber Hangar (-10 DP)
-[] Equipment - Missile Swarms/Armored Lifepods/Strict Pilot Training/Veteran Pilot Gene-Lines/Internal Security Systems/Ship Shrines/Superior Gravimetric Engine Calculations/Lattice Hulls (-9 DP)

WRITEUP: The Scorpio-class Light Cruiser has a simple purpose in mind. A respectable foundation to set the standard for the Federation's Light Cruiser doctrine, rather than the built-for-purpose models of the Neon Campaign. A ship with respectable protection, exceptional mobility, and the ability to contribute on the front line of battle with ease. To that end, the Scorpio-class possesses exceptional thrust and agility for a capital ship paired with a level of mass only slightly below that of a proper Heavy Cruiser to give it staying power in the front line. Its armament of heavy anti-cruiser Torpedoes supplement two racks of heavy anti-shipping missiles grant it a combination of exceptional anti-point defense efforts, while a recessed hangar built into the keel of the ship allows for the deployment of 3 squadrons of Thules in a bomber-heavy configuration--an innovation that allows the Scorpio to preserve its armor belt despite the presence of an extensive strike wing.

The intention is for the Scorpio-class to be a mainstay in the days ahead, in a similar role to the Imperium's Dauntless-class Light Cruiser. Time will tell if it can achieve these lofty goals.

So as far as it goes, the Particularists and Anti-Particularists are the oldest heresies, and in a way the most familiar, since they're based around an ancient debate.

Compared to the Imperial Syncreticists or the Divine Line people, they might be possible to reconcile... but they've also had centuries to create their own very, very particular versions of things.

The Divine Line stuff needs to be further interrogated but by and large they're going to be pushed aside... but we really do need to come up with an answer for where the Lamenters fit in all of this.

The Aetherial Cog people need to come to the Star Child, lol.

God, is it a mess.

And don't forget the Order of the Nurenor Roses who are Tau: Human Sexist edition. So many fun Heresies to deal with….

Honestly, I think for the Particularists or Anti-Particularists we will need to emphasize that theirs is a lesser sin. So far as I can tell both Particularists and Anti-Particularists have functionally been a part of Federation Society for actual centuries. That does mean they're less likely to just go, "Aw shucks, I guess we were wrong" but it means that we already know that they can function in society without bombing people and declaring a Crusade Against The Federation.

Compare that to the Sisters and the Cogs (and the Imperials, duh), whose societal setup fundamentally can only exist in opposition/separation to the Glimmering Federation as it is now. The Divine Line is kind of a weird middle-ground, because as far as I can tell most people respect the fuck out of the Lamenters, so a Divine Line believer probably can just exist in the society and just defer to Lamenters if it comes up or etc.

The Sisters and the Cogs should get crushed first because they already tried to escape and form their own enclaves. So that tells me they are further ahead in the separatist efforts.

But we could try to refute that by pointing out that Space Marines are not naturally created and anyone from a Noble Prince to an Underhiver can become one.

Though I'm admittedly baffled at how we're already getting a Separatist event considering that currently it takes 1/6th of the entire might of the Glimmering Federation of billions (IE, half an AP) to colonize a single world, and these weirdo heretics are going to manage to presumably colonize two separate worlds?

I kinda do want to let the The Supplicants of the Aetherical Cog cook for a while see what they get up too

They're comically heretical down to there actively being a part of the Droman Creed meant to prevent or at least condemn this kind of thinking. Obviously not that that stops them, but.

[] Taurus-secundus (Taurus-S) Troopship
-[] Length
- 2.000 Meters (-1 DP)
-[] Width - 550 Meters (-1 DP)
-[] Acceleration - 7 Gravities
-[] Armor - Thin Double Hull (-2 DP)
-[] Shields - Two Arrays (-1 DP)
-[] Weapons - 2x Medium Hangars (Fighter and Bomber)
-[] Equipment - Strict Pilot Training/Veteran Pilot Gene Lines/Ship Shrines/Dedicated Ortillery/Dedicated Heavy Ortillery/Large Troop Compartment (-12 DP)

WRITEUP: While the venerable Taurus-class has never disappointed the Federation, the expansion of its reach and responsibilities have shown the limitations of the now over four centuries old design in prosecuting a campaign greater in scale than a small sub-sector's scope. A revisit was required, and the Magi of the Seven Stars Shipyard in End of Line have developed this successor model. The expansion of the hull's length by 25% and its width by over 60% have vastly increased its internal volume, while superior reactors and thrusters have allowed no loss in acceleration from the this exchange. Much of that volume has been immediately put to work, Doubling the Taurus' strike wings and hangar capacity, while expanding its capacity to carry ground troops by a staggering 500%, given the addition of several new decks of empty space and superior life support functionality. The Troopship's ground support has not been ignored either, with the integration of a super-heavy, anti-fortification battery to its dorsal armament, granting it an option to deal with dug in, entrenched foes when accuracy is less important than raw destructive power. The standard Taurus has served the Federation without issue for four centuries. It is the hopes of the Design Board that its successor can serve for a millennium more.
