*gasp* I am so wrong then. How did she get that through all the people dying? You don't mark aspect gains/losses super clearly, and idr. What bonuses does it provide?

Seryn has an Aspect of Life:Seryn isn't a goddess of life, though? IIRC.
I do want us to mess around with the idol more but if the goal of that is to resurrect that one goddess, I want Seryn to be more stable. It will come across as a betrayal regardless, but it might as well be tied to an old wound rather than a recent-ish one.
E:
NB, it's stone that we crushed into being metal so we're pretty boss.
Extended raids are basically how wars are conducted in Stone Age societies, and I feel wary about leaving for an extended period of time while they are still blatantly hostile and we have no way of really getting rid of them.Sorry, it just feels like I'm ignored, I can't actually know when you incorporate something from my votes without people talking
The thing is that they aren't in a full on war, they seem to be accostumated with raiding, so it's also probable they have other enemies who they frequently raid, if they haven't exhausted those other sides by now.
But, to be honest I'm kinda loosing the will to explore right now, since we could probably do something better, like testing something new...
@Zaealix how would you feel about it if I change the exploration for experimentation on a chief blessing, especifically, a war chief blessing?
Hrrm. I don't have a problem with that, my vote is still with yours.Sorry, it just feels like I'm ignored, I can't actually know when you incorporate something from my votes without people talking

We should copy that aspect at some point. It seems relevant to our actions, though imperfectly.Seryn has an Aspect of Life:
-Aspect of Life: Bonus to Farming, Strengthens Bless and Heal,
and Resurrection into who she used to be is essentially off the table, since she would go ballistic as soon as we told her that Seryn ate her sister.
If she were to become a new spirit with some of the traits of the older one, however, it might be helpful to integrate her in.

Are Terwyn and Vardyn still married, and is Terwyn still one of our high priests, or did she give that up when she ascended?
This just may be me being silly, but who is Escalf? Don't remember hearing about them.
We're fitting perfectly into being the King Under the Mountain (or nearby it) so farWe should copy that aspect at some point. It seems relevant to our actions, though imperfectly.
Her configuration is more synergistic and encompassing than ours.
She's like War, Life, Femininity, which all feed into each other and incentivize growing a population and expanding controlled land.
We're Fatherhood, Chiefdom, and Earth. Which basically just feeds into exploiting the earth and sitting on a mountain. >.<
I mean, a) she was already ballistic so no difference there, b) if we can make it so she's a new spirit great but we won't know if that's possible until we try. Though domesticating and forcibly altering an animal spirit would give us some insight.
So, both of the asshole spirits also happen to be farmer spirits? She got it from eating Lynnelt. Also check the informational threadmarks for the character sheets which get updated for more information on the spirits in the region.
She hasn't decided yet. She is still keeping the position for now. And yes, Terwyn and Vardyn are still married and Terwyn is going for another kid.
The Spirit of Sangere.
Crows.I really do want to alter an animal spirit though, since the family really needs a pet (pls don't actually treat them like a pet)
Eh, maybe she'll have the same basic personality but amnesia. If she goes ballistic we might have to just kill her though, which would be rather unfortunate. I just see no way for her to wish to willingly work with us, and she would never ever work with Seryn, which is why I'm hoping the whole "new spirit similar traits" thing pans out.
Yeah, that's a thing. But fathers being the head of the family are the result of irl politics & shit predicated on male superiority in terms of violence and stronger leanings toward dominance and aggression. If we were female and had the chief of the pantheon aspect we'd probably just have more matriarchal leadership. Kind of like the way our head priestess, who manages our village for us, is a female. We are the Father, and the Pantheon is our family.
Just as the Father is the Head of the family, we are the Chief of the Pantheon.
Maybe we should Choose Wyrn...?The former record-keeper of Evatine and now Chosen of both the Mighty One and the Noble One, when the Sangerish captured him, it was Wyrn who tried to rescue him. When they both ended up captured, it was Wyrn who freed both of them and others.
I mean, to be fair, if people emulate the Spirits who have certain aspects, than Fatherhood should be based around building shit, talking to people, and taking care of your kids/family.Crows.
Odin + we do need a death god.
Eh, maybe she'll have the same basic personality but amnesia.
If it comes to it we can eat her or feed her to our pet, though.

The conversion of warriors and hunters into women necessitates a shift in understanding of fatherhood away from protector/provider and toward something else, which is as of yet undetermined. The requirement that they have one or two children before accepting the blessing helps fight that, but not greatly.

We've basically been the Responsible Authority Figure(TM) for the entire quest, so encouraging our fathers to act in such a manner sounds good to me.
@Oshha Would masculinity and fatherhood combine or remain separate?
Earth magic/whatever being chosen by Evatine & Seryn meant.
Even if they didn't I imagine they would kind of stack and reinforce each other. The way that Orcante spirit up north had spirit of farming/spirit of earth and had better soil trickery then us.@Oshha Would masculinity and fatherhood combine or remain separate?

Something tells me that Bronwyn would disapprove of Seryn doing that.Gwarlon will stay head of the family because his wife and daughters love him and combined with his Spirit of Fatherhood and Aspect of the Chief. Seryn will be having words and curses with anyone who disagrees with her daddy being in charge.
But if you are worried about being male, Seryn will happily convert your Spirit of Fatherhood into Motherhood if you ask her.
Something tells me that Bronwyn would disapprove of Seryn doing that.
I too would feel betrayed at being the only Male Spirit left in the Pantheon. No, no. Bronwyn can compensate using her Aspect of Love. Her feelings on the matter are neutral. You would give looks from Evatine however.

You always gotta have a bro, you know?
That's why I'm voting for Seryn perspective. All the fun of being a Catgirl, without actually sacrificing our manhood in the process. It would be more of 'Well, guess I am the only sane person left. Knew that was going to happen sooner or later.'
