Infrastructure backfill is how you get splintering and escalating inequalities.

Actually civ and religion values will migrate those. Shared culture/religion alongside the king being backed by the Gods will result in reduced splintering. Additionally, due to consent, freedom to choose and proportionate justice to being a major thing for your people, the Arth will have an egalitarianism value the same way that the the Ymaryn had a sacred land value so inequality will be less of a thing for you, especially since Arthish views on family mean that talented lower class will be adopted into the upper class so that the upper class can claim their skill for their own. On the flip side, no slavery equals expensive free labour.

Avawyr is a pretty bad choice for future capital because of limited accessibility. Its sole merits are being defensible and it'd have immense difficulty remaining in control over our fringe holdings because the routes to Avawyr are pretty awkward.

Evalon has great riverine connectivity. Bedywn is...well its geographically closer to our center, though not especially accessible, its not inaccessible either. Mountain capitals are for very small states, or states under threat of external military assault.

Once Avawyr grows beyond a village and into a town/city, it will grow to include Ava Cove, giving the settlement access to Lake Eva.

Vote still open if you want to vote @Raichu1972. I will be closing it when tomorrow when I get up.

[X][Cadyl] Construction. With plenty of villages still requiring walls, boat pens and places for leaders to rule from along with paths to connect them to other villages, Cady built up these things before having additional villages settled.

[X][Cadyl] Expansion. While he nominal controls the region due to that being no one to oppose him most of the land layunexplored and uninhabited. Cadyl changed this by founding a great many villages.

I'll change my vote if Avawyr will have water access later. I'm not sure if it's good to have the capital on the island. Might increase cultural differences and friction between the rulers and people living elsewhere.

  • [X] [Arwyn] Track down the enemy spirit with a small expedition as while they will slow her down somewhat, it is safer than going alone.
[X] [Myrlin] Study Ymaryn further and any connection to the enemy spirit.
[X] Wait until Arwyn returns even if it means risking the trail going cold.

What happened with the monster spirit that attacked Ymaryn?

Curb-stomp battle.
The end of the monster spirits was swift and quite frankly, incredible easy. You outnumbered them five to one in spirits and had more deities than they had spirits. You or Seryn alone could have crushed them and with the aid of Merlin, you banished them from this plane of existence.
