Anyway, what do people think about abusing our OCP knowledge of Senju-Uchiha-Uzumaki interconnections? Because I really want to try and see if we can get something going there. Starting from a simple donation from Naruto / transfusion to Naruto, and up to swapping one sharingan eye with him, because one RInnegan is better than two normal sharingans.
That's only how Orochimaru thought it worked due to lacking information.
In actuality, you need the chakra of the two transmigrants/the sage himself in order to produce the rinnegan.
Also, it can take decades done the former way, even if you're the Indra transmigrant and have the eternal mangekyo sharingan already.

I think I'd be worried if Hisana was willing to try cutting out her own eye :lol.

I'm fairly sure that Orochimaru was at least somewhat correct. I mean, Hashirama cells (and at the time of the graft, Hashirama wasn't a transmigrant) supercharged Shisui's sharingan (and he wasn't a transmigrant at all) lowering the recovery rate for that super-genjutsu from ten years to one day. I'm fairly sure that a transfusion from Naruto, who is an Uzumak itransmigrant and a second-generation Kyuubi jinchuuriki would have at least some effect on the development of an Uchiha sharingan.

That depends on how complex the procedure is, really.

[X] Plan "always ready"

As much as I personally want plan Art is a BANG, let pick one that actually has a chance to win instead.

Though he may have been successful anyway, ironically.

Even if it only allows us to turn our sword transparent, that would still be a lot. With sharingan, we'll be able to clearly see it. If an opponent can't, well, that's a hell of an advantage. It should be a relatively low hanging fruit too. And then more advanced tricks. Like "henge you huge slab of metal sword into a short lightweight one, then release it once it's about to strike the opponent, making it unblockable".

Actually, Sarutobi, you know, the Third, does this kind of a thing. With Enma the Monkey king using a transformation (which, until shown otherwise, I'll believe is a form of henge) to transform into a battle-staff mid-combat. Others you mention (save Tenten) rely on magical super-swords or on being immortal.
You'd be better served by using individual jutsu more suited towards these kinds of applications than trying to batter the transformation jutsu into doing it. Genjutsu, especially sealless Sharingan genjutsu, means you can affect your opponent's vision of your sword without removing your hands from it.

Hashirama had an absurd vitality, to the point that his cells actively tried to either take over or tree-ify any body they were implanted in.
Though I will admit some effect might be noted in this case.

Now, for Sasuke, the benefits could be great indeed, since he's the opposite number as a transmigrant.
It's just...it'd take a fuckload of time.

[X] Fuinjutsu:
-[x]Reverse-engineering the wrist storage seals
[x] - Kenjutsu
--[x] - Learn techniques intended to counter ninja from a former Samurai
--[x] - Learn to integrate basic ninjutsu into your kenjutsu

As much as I love GOTTA GO FAST the kenjutstu options seem more interesting (and the BANG will never win)

Couldn't the transformation be done one-handed? If we have to let go of the sword to incorporate ninjutsu into our kenjutsu... Yeah, that doesn't seem very useful.

It might accelerate the development of his sharingan or get him to develop it into a new and unusual forms. Naruto also has high vitality, though, hopefully, not at the "give people magical supercancer" level.

Well, Naruto showed off sealless chain henge in his Kiba fight, so it is possible.

But again, you have to learn that. Then you need to get good enough to do it very quickly while sword-fighting at the same time. And then you need to work out how to integrate it into your combat style effectively, and practice it a lot. That's a lot of investment for something that, while not bad, isn't exactly an S-rank force multiplier.

True. While I would like a gimmick like that, it's probably not worth investment. far better to grind wrist-bound seals (maybe move them to palms of our hands?) so we could make swords appear and disappear in a blink. Then add in some ninjutsu trick, like maybe using chakra coating on the blade and adding rotations to it (basically, drill-sword or chainsaw sword using rasengan training as a basis), and we might have something.

With Hashirama, most every injury he received healed in seconds, with a visible burst of steam. This effect is also found with many of those who received his cells.
Comparatively, Naruto and even Karin have considerably weaker healing factors.

I don't know if it has been proposed yet but I obviously would like to see Hisana make sure Naruto gets the shadow clone jutsu soon. Now right off I truly hate fics that simple use shadow clones as a plot device to gain immensely powerful techniques yet consistently fail in major battles to maintain drama.

My take on shadow clones is their ideal for information gathering and low stress activities which fits what canon stated about them being created for scouting/spying. Now Naruto's immense chakra long with fanon idea of better handling mental strain of memory absorption means he can also utilize this for learning techniques far faster but fanon also likes to conflate this to just about any technique no matter the situation or go in the opposite direction with abunch of silly limitations. For example it would make sense that trying to use one of the Eight Gates via shadow clone would not work too well but the idea of a bunch practicing kata is just inevitable lead to a bunch of bad habits is very silly.

There was this one fic I really liked atleast for the idea was Naruto using clones to create identities that performed jobs like being a merchant. The fic got a little silly by having him learn uber techniques and some how push basic techniques into uber level due to sheer chakra. Still the idea of Naruto having dozens of clones that simple learned academic subjects, had odd jobs, and picked up a bunch of hobbies just sounded really interesting especially if connected to classical clone training and equivalent downtime so Naruto did not burn out through constant training.

How this could benefit Hisana would be her getting an assistant in R&D with her bringing in the Sharingans for analyziing jutsu and his Shadow Clones are excellent for brute-forcing problems.

Hm. Unless Hisana is willing to be a terrible friend by not helping Naruto train I'm really not seeing how Naruto will ever have the motivation to steal the scroll in the first place. Frankly even if Mizuki proposed a similar deal to Naruto I'd expect him to bring it up Hisana, because he isn't as isolated as he was in canon.

...Hisana just got done seeing a Chunin exam where a genin used shadow clone jutsu. I am not saying things will line up just right for Hisana to see the technique to pass it on but its alittle extreme to think Hisana has to make Naruto fail and ensure he steals the scrolls to ever utilize the shadow clone jutsu.

What are you talking about? No one used the Shadow Clone Jutsu. It certainly isn't on our list.

The Leaf genin did, during his match. But yeah, it's not on Hisana's list of acquired jutsu. I guess vision was obscured at the time. Maybe in the future?

Though, I'm also not sure if people are using "Shadow Clone jutsu" in this discussion as shorthand for the "Multiple Shadow Clone jutsu" that Naruto learned in canon. Presumably, there's a difference between the two? Then again, even the regular Shadow Clone jutsu could be quite interesting.

We have the Water Clone?

No Chunnin should be using Shadow Clone, that's supposed to be draining for Jounin to use.

Apparently he managed one:
Shuriken flew forwards from the Mist genin's orbit; each destroying a couple of clones as it exploded. Then, Hisana noticed it - a small rodent with a chakra signature exactly like the Leaf genin's racing across the field, having already flanked the Mist genin. The Mist genin hit what would have to have been the real Leaf ninja, but he was apparently better at ninjutsu than he lead on - the "real" him amongst the illusionary clones was a shadow clone.

But yeah, it's not on Hisana's list of acquired jutsu. I guess vision was obscured at the time.
It seems to have been since Hisana missed that it was a Shadow Clone. Looking at the moment he created the clones:
The Leaf genin retreated across the arena to the sole cover, a copse of trees. The Mist genin summoned more and more shuriken and began to have them orbit her, creating a swirling cloud of death. Then, there was a burst of smoke and the boy burst out over cover, a bunch of illusionary clones covering him as he charged at the girl, his sword drawn.
he was hidden from us by the trees. That would explain why Hisana didn't catch that the "real" him was a Shadow Clone until after it popped.

Acquisition 2.2
Acquisition 2.2

"Just so we're all clear on the rules - you get three steps after doing your replacement, and not one inch more. Winner is whoever gets tagged the least. Ready?" Hisana asked, looking at the two other occupants of the disused training ground. She genuinely had no idea how their little group had coalesced into doing "training"; but it was a big help to her future plans. Both Naruto and Sasuke, as much as he'd deny it, responded better to training that was presented as a game, or otherwise competitive. It occasionally disturbed her that she had so easily come to share the mindset of people paid to mould children into killers, if only out of necessity.

The two boys nodded, and then with a drop of Hisana's hand they were off. She started off 'it' and made her first replacement. She appeared between Naruto and Sasuke; hoping to pin Naruto down to the chainlink fence that surrounded the training ground they'd appropriated. He went left, and Hisana followed. He took one enormous step, struggling to stay upright - only for Hisana to use the replacement jutsu once more and tag him. Avoiding his attempt at a counter tag was hard, but she managed it and tried to lead him over to Sasuke.

Half an hour later, she and Sasuke were out of breath and out of chakra; whilst Naruto hadn't even worked up a sweat. That kid was a like a fucking terminator, it was uncanny. Sasuke had emerged victorious this round, and it was getting close to noon, so Hisana made an executive decision as the allegedly mature one that it was time to break for lunch. The trio of academy students made their way through the streets of Konoha, looking for somewhere to eat. Hisana had been expecting to drag Naruto away from that one ramen stand every day, but she seemed to have picked up some fanon from one too many fanfics about it. He did love it, and ramen in general, but the thought of eating other food did cross his mind.

So that's how she ended up eating at an "Water-Style" curry restaurant with a pair of fictional characters. It tasted a little like Thai food, if Hisana had to make a comparison. It was pretty good too, but that was a given since she'd gotten the recommendation from Chouji. Dude knew his food.

"Show Sasuke the seal, sis!" Naruto said, excitedly. He'd wanted to talk to her when she was doing her R&D for a skin-wearable storage seal for weapons, and then wanted to know what she was doing. Sasuke knew she was working on seals, but didn't seem that interested. She decided to go with her right palm for a temporary seal, just to see if it worked over a long period of time. Right now, she had a practice kunai sealed in her palm.

"What have you been working on for the past week?" Sasuke asked, suddenly intrigued. Hisana held her palm out, activated the seal and grabbed the kunai before it fell.

"Woah, cool. Have you got anything else in there?" Asked Naruto.

"Nope. Just this." Hisana said, giving the kunai a twirl then resealing it. The seals could go anywhere on the body, though obviously you wanted to be able to quickly access it directly.

"It does look useful, Hisana. Can you teach us how to do it?" Sasuke asked, genuinely curious.

"Nope. Almost all seals are personalised to their creator, and this is one that's meant to go on my skin. If you want one, you're gonna have to get it the hard way." Hisana said, and both boys looked devastated.

+++++
Quite frankly, Hisana thought it a crime that these first-aid seminars were not mandatory for Academy students, or simply part of the curriculum. They had certainly studied the topic, but this was actually useful information. They were not learning medical jutsu, as such, but would learn a very basic version of the Mystic Palm jutsu towards the end of the course.

At the moment, they were learning about mundane ways of handling injuries such as minor cuts, bruises and burns. The class was almost entirely female, though there were a few male students here and there. As she practiced her stitching technique, Hisana's mind drifted. She had learnt a number of jutsu, chief amongst them the shushin, this year. She had grown stronger, yes, but not enough.

"I'm having a little trouble with this question, Hisana?" Asked a pink haired girl - otherwise known as Sakura Haruno. Hisana felt a bit bad for taking over her role, but she wasn't filling it yet and first come first served and all that.

"Hmm - oh, that. There's actually a mistake in the formula sheet, change that formula to this and see how it goes, k?" Hisana said, and really the girl didn't need the help. She had something like six years on her classmates, at least in some respects, and she was willing to bet both Sakura and Shikimaru were better at theory than she was. At least, if Shikimaru put the least amount of effort into it.
+++++
Hisana turned ten that year. She still remembered her original tenth birthday, and this one was far smaller. Yet, for all the foreknowledge that had led to her seeking Sasuke and Naruto out; she felt that their friendship had actually grown into something genuine. She still occupied something of an older-sister esque role, but perhaps that was for the best. They'd just had dinner, which wasn't really all that odd for them. It wasn't like there was anyone else to feed them, and Hisana was the only one really willing to cook.

She was still frustrated at the pace of her advancement. By any metric, she was a veritable child prodigy of the ninja arts. Yet she was one of those child prodigies who skipped a few grades, not went to Uni at age ten or whatever. Those kinds of prodigies were out there, and they were still learning. She knew, theoretically, that all the forces opposing her were beatable, but it sure didn't seem like it to her.

Over the next year, select four of the following projects for Hisana to work on whilst training. Only two more years remain until graduation and the start of canon.

We need to start focusing, which is a shame because I was hoping to get everything to C-rank first, then specialize.

Then again we're going to be tap-dancing on the D/C-rank boundary in the next couple of years in what we don't focus on I think.

... I don't know.

I lean towards having a well-rounded foundation first before specializing.
