That's like one of the cruelest things you could do to Naruto though.

Counter idea: Have Hisana(and everyone else she can convince) convince everyone else to wear Orange.

There are several good reasons to do this.
  • 1. Orange is awesome.
  • 2. Since Orange is a not-very-stealthy color, that means you'd have to be better at being stealthy for it to be effective, which makes a good training exercise for ninjas. *Insert good reason here!*
  • 3. Orange is a very fashionable and cool color.
  • 4. Naruto wont die because you tore the Power of Orange from him.
  • 5. Kurama is like 90% made of Orange, so having Naruto abandon it will probably make him explode and Kurama go murder you and then everyone else because who'd want to live in a world where people discriminate against Orange?
  • 6. Orange is one of my favorite colors. Yes, this is a proper and valid and very serious reason.
  • 7. Since Naruto is the Champion of Orange, and since Kurama is almost the physical embodiment of Orange, if we make everyone love Orange, we will also make everyone love Naruto and Kurama. It's genius!
  • 8. I can't think of an eight reason, probably because the above reasons are so amazing an eight one isn't needed.
  • 9. I wanted a list with nine points, so this is just a filler. Happy New Year!

The girl who reincarnated into Karin was a closeted trans girl back on Earth. This makes her one of the most conflicted transmigrants. She misses her home, the comforts of the west in the 21st century; she misses peace and television and a whole lot more. Except, of course, that what landed her here also gave her what she's always wanted the most in life.
I completely get where they're coming from. Honestly I'm a little jealous. :p

Remember that they live in a forest, during Autumn orange would actually be better than most colors due to the leaves. I also remember someone on SB mentioning that wearing orange wasn't unique to Naruto either, one of the color pages in the manga or an art book or something showed random people wearing it, just not as much as he does.

Honestly wish the fandom would stop with the "orange isn't a stealthy color so it must be changed!" crap. None of the characters wear stealthy colors. None at all. And they all managed fine, especially Naruto did.

All the "Orange isn't a stealthy color" complaint does is just be an excuse that author's use to put Naruto in more edgy costumes or clothes to suit his "badass" new personally that appeared out of nowhere.

I'm not sure the Konoha Hashirama Tress are deciduou. At the very least i don't remember prof of such in the manga, nor the few anime eps i've seen years ago.

No, it'll just convince the reincarnates that they've fallen into an edgy AU, and act accordingly.

Not really desirable if you want to take advantage of Naruto's charisma to get as many people on-side as possible.

Same, orange is a stealthy color. Human eyes are adapted to seeing blues and greens for nightvision, thus 'orange' is hard to see at night - and why emergency lighting is red.

Second, being a ninja is more than just being sneaky in the dark - it's being sneaky in broad daylight. The blond, blue-eyed kid wearing orange can't possibly be a ninja, resulting in civilians not taking any particular note of him, which means that the information networks that ninja have don't get information from gossip circles, or get false/incorrect information.

And, of course, there's the whole 'if I stop wearing orange, all the people looking for the blue-eyed orange blond aren't going to find him' thing, which should only be done sporadically to ensure it remains effective.

Nighttime stealth, daylight 'hide in plain sight', and a way to make disguises more effective, all at once.

Some more ideas:
1. Fuinjutsu ideas:
1.1. lightning Blood Seal already affects brain, so upgraiding it to protect against genjutsu should be easy.
1.2. if Hisana would harvest Itachi's Amaterasu fire, then she might be able to upgrade Final Hurricane Seal to grant her his mangekyo powers.
1.3. jinchuriki seal is a seal containing chakra, so Hisana could use her sharingan to enter Naruto's seal and study it in order to improve her own FH seal.
1.4. chakra storage seal might be applied to tags/scrolls and weapon, so Kakashi and Sasuke would be able to those as well.
2. Yoroi's chakra draining jutsu ideas:
2.1. teach it to Naruto (his clones can train it in forest of death).
2.2. combine it with her Kenjutsu.
2.3. combine it with elemental techniques (like Kisame did).
2.4. upgarde FH seal with it and apply it on a sword making it similar to Samehada.
2.5. use it on Naruto and make a lot of clones for fast ninjutsu training.

*shrug* They're in the right climate for it and from what I remember they don't look like typical evergreen trees either.

It's a setting about magic ninjas, I don't really expect it to make sense. I was just mentioning an explanation I heard once about him wearing orange, it's not like anyone calls him on it in series from what I remember.

I've been dabbling in some Naruto info and my desire for sage mode has been re-awakened, along with a few considerations about alternate reality Hisanas. I wonder if changed circumstances would produce wildly different Hisanas?

Ya'll are missing my point... it doesn't matter if orange is a 'stealthy' color or not. The point is that canon Naruto wears orange, and the enemy reincarnates expect that to always be the case! Tactical costume changes could save Hisana and Naruto a lot of trouble in the future :p

You're going to have to elaborate more on why emergency lighting is a hard to see colour.
I know that red lights are used by military units in situations where white lights are too "bright" or easy to see from a distance, but I'll admit to a bit of confusion here too. Emergency lighting is supposed to make it easier to see, not harder.
