you're talking about Sonics resurrection in 06 right? I don't actually remember how that worked but I was under the impression it only worked because of very specific circumstances that couldn't be repeated easily.
The exact circumstances weren't very clear though and in many ways Sage is Eggman's equal. Who can say she won't figure a way to replicate the method? Though I'm just speculating really, their story is over unless someone else writes about them.
would she even have any evidence to tell her that might be possible? not to mention she'd need to take down multiple kings to get all the Chaos Emeralds. and the brief mention I made of house of the dead zombies also made me think of her studying Zobio and Zobiko to bring Eggman back as an intelligent zombie, and that idea is honestly just really cool to me. although I think Eggman would probably wind up turning himself into a robot afterwords just because he'd rather be that then a zombie. now I kinda want to make that an Omake, but I really just don't like writing like that (I have only ever enjoyed writing comics, it is very different than writing out full paragraphs like this)
