I find myself a bit stuck. On one hand the appeal of just simply tearing it all down right now is appealing but it's quite a bit larger than I was expecting (legitimately thought we were going to be up against like two magical girls when i first read the mission statement back in like turn one or two) and the idea of pushing so we can set up a proper game plan is also appealing
Let's just call it a fake future currency that is referred to as "dollars" for now until/if I sit down and work out the lore around it.
I shall call this the nova-peso

There's a reason the option is called push our luck; even if we succeed we are putting Yellow Qilin in a corner when we know she has a history of messing with shit she can't control. This is not fear mongering, she's basically making human sacrifices to the Frozen Throne already. How worse could it get? I don't want to find out.

Going Load is fighting an entire base with only ronin as real backup and BS not here as Big stick. We have real risk of losing memebers here that shouldnt be ignored.

Still doesnt change the risk of death especially with the Hero Worship mission being antoher big combat mission.

We might survive fighting GDT only to end up losing members in Hero worship due to injuries in the fight here.

Edit: Only handyman has regen so if Leizi and Chatelet take too many injuries they be offline for Hero worship.

Everyone has a shield generator, and Maddie has a symbiote.
Yes but that's not what I am worried about it is not . Because let's say go loud works better than I think and we kill the dragon horse girl out right and she doesn't get away. Her power power pops and we left with over a dozen not magical girls with a power-less hunk of evil ice in them.

There's nothing that points to any goldnine being around all the speculation if there being more is just that speculation. The magical girls are hostages they don't know that but we are Heros we shouldn't say fuck it some of you may die for personal gratification

I say we be brave enough to try and save more people by actually having enough resources to save em

Going over this for my own sake, there are probably 4ish main factors?

1. The danger of fighting now vs later: If we delay we will have Black Swan, John, and Leizi with a weapon plus no Brass Shield as a wildcard vs no Ronin to help with pincering Yellow Qilin and no potential surprise factor. However, we wouldn't be starting split up and could potentially have more control over the battlefield. We do have a lot of defensive measures set up here with shields and the symbiote which should help in practice, but Hero Worship is also around the corner (though we have a mission for Handyman to heal alongside a fresh John and Black Swan).

2. The income tempo loss from using 6k income over potentially gaining 3k: Given we will be on the path to gain a sponsorship next turn potentially, this could be a 1 turn issue potentially. However, the sponsorship is technically not guaranteed and a lot of our global actions are income hogs, due to Spoonful spamming, so this could be a genuinely major issue.

3. Is there enough goldnine to maintain things: We know that Noelle's girls can currently hold out to the end of turn 4 without issue and that each dose of goldnine buys them an extra turn. Pushing our luck let's us extend their position to the end of turn 6-turn 7, which likely gives us time to get a supplier from the R-Train. My question is more that while I doubt three doses worth is all that Yellow Qilin has left, given Noelle took a lot of Yellow Qilin's supply to reach the end of turn 4 benchmark, how much is left? Since how many more magical girls does Yellow Qilin have compared to Noelle's side, how much does she have left to stretch between both of these groups till we can get the R-Train supply running by the end of turn 5 ideally?

4. The optics of this from Crusade and Noelle. From the Crusade side we know that Ronin will likely try to cover for us to some extent, but Brass Shield will absolutely be doing his fair share of undermining us. Does taking this fight now do anything to make it harder for us to be dragged in some way publicly? On the flip side, does Noelle likely have an issue with either side of the choice? Taking Qilin out would cut off the supply to save her people but prevents things from getting worse, barring making her reliant on us getting R-Train up. Kicking the can down the road with pushing our luck is probably fine with this being framed as an information mission, but if not, giving her some of the doses might help and are something we want to do anyway?

Though I do feel like if we bargain for three's worth but only give Noelle two's worth it will lead to questions as Noelle would see the amount we're bargaining for here.

QM did confirm we get enough G9 for noelle and mg to survive for the turn but if we fail to get anything from the R train next turn well were gonna have problems since the girls will start dying off.

Edit: Wed probably get the option to have nielle as candidate immediatey if we give them 2 g9 and she notice we kept 1. Really for all that going loud stops qilin from getting more victims it also put the current victims in more danger since they wont have extra time before they start getting eaten.

Next turn Qilin might have her own reinforcements for the ambush but E-B or a P13 online is another major advantage that you cant just easily counter when we ambush GDT.

Does Noelle have a secure place to store more than 1 dose's worth of goldnine? If not then I think that can justify Justice Unlimited holding onto the rest of the stockpile for safekeeping.

I anticipate that Noelle will be read into Project Prometheus soonish, so we need only stall her goldnine questions until then.

The worst case scenario for [] press your luck is that we fail the roll here and don't get any goldnine, and that next turn we aren't able to secure a supply, either. I don't really think that's been directly brought up much, but with how much the discussion has centered on how [] go loud can go wrong, I think that's worth pointing out. Either option can work out the way they're intended to, either option can fail horribly. What path do you want us to take when we roll the dice?

So what's the plan to deal with the at least like 12 folks who are going to need the g9
They can hold for at least the next turn, whereupon we will take the mission to contact R-Train. Actually, just thought of something.
@Bitterman would you accept a write-in mission next turn to raid Monarch for goldnine? Considering Leizhi's godlike spy network and the fact we are already tracking her finances, I think it should be possible.
Never negotiate with terrorists. Some eggs might be broken, but thats how omelettes are made.
I recommend you don't say that. Unless you are against going loud, in which case I'd present the fact that that's the option where Qilin is prevented from gathering any more hostages.

But we can't get more goldnine from r-train till we find that guy

That sounds like a terrible idea we gotta work out a lot things before running at monarch because we believe she may have that little bastard in play

Technically depending on how diploing R-Train goes we can get goldnine for the girls which qm confirmed. Its not a sure thing though compared to getting the trackmaster.

Which is why Id rather risk getting goldnine from qilin before taking them down next turn. Since at the very least we can still aim for the R-Train next turn even if we fail to support the girls, even if losing the money woudl suck.

@Bitterman will talking to R-Train give us opportunity to buy goldnine in the mission our will a follow-up action be required?
Depends on too many factors for a clean answer, but the possibility exists for you to at least have the ability to help the magical girls after one turn.

Which is why the information network part is important. If she's working with Petit Prince there's no way she's letting him near where the goldnine is. Just one of his little "games" could end in a disaster.

Yeah but his powers could also make it possible to make guards stay around also just realized she might not store it either as she can get it from the tap
