@Bitterman Ellie is stealing goldnine to supply some number of girls allied to her, right? Do we know how much goldnine they have, how long their current supply can last, and how much an ambrosia dose's worth would last them for? I ask because if we fail the check in the [] press your luck option, we'll only have the one dose from last mission in our inventory.
 
I thought this wouldn't be this contested but okay.

To me the logic is quite simple: Yellow Qilin is an unstable actor. You can't outsmart someone like that because they're capable of doing stupid things that nonetheless hurt you out of spite. In fact, this whole mission is exactly this. I don't want to give her a single extra day to come up with another idiotic scheme. She's literally contradicting herself in her gloating attempts, it's that bad. Even if we could trust her with her end of the deal we can't trust her of not making things worse anyways.

Besides, I don't like the Magical Girls remaining hostages. It's quite a bitter pill to swallow when Leizhi's trying to be more, and press your luck just seems like a return to old habits. Let's not get too clever by half by trying to play around with a madwoman, alright?

Also we need to do reality check next turn too so we can recruit Belle. We need 8 ap by t5 if we dont want to miss any of out timed actions.

Granted we can delay reality chec if the time limit there and focus ND missions and The fellowship.

Edit: Atleast if going loud somehow forces us to give away the ambrosia meant for John. Which also fucks up our plan for brining him DF.

Actually QM eould going Loud force us to give Johns ambrosia to Noelle group?

Well shit.... Completely unrelated to the current discussion but I just changed my phone no less that like 3 hours ago and while setting everything I think i removed notifications from my emails, which I used to know if someome posted something here and I have no idea how to fix it. I change my email prefs in my settings but im not sure if ill receive anything yet. So I might just have made it harder for myself to know if someone posted something. Just in case I dont appear immediatly for whn a new chapter drops.

I'll answer both questions: the implication is that if you fail the check on press your luck, you'll get barely enough to sustain Noelle's forces and nothing else—not enough that you could skim off the top for Prometheus without it making a dent. Noelle's forces are barely subsisting right now, and any extra "dose" of goldnine is one more turn they can last. You'll have a vote to decide how much to give them afterwards if you are successful.

You can give them the dose you have regardless, but it's not required. They'll have enough to last until the end of issue four without any extra from you in either Press Your Luck or Go Loud. If they don't get anyone by then, bad things will start happening.
 
So Push our luck at success gives us a safety net for taking them down apart from being able to Ambrosia Noelle or Yara fast.

BTW QM are gems implanted in the MG's body and if so couldnt we use epoxy power to remove them from the bodies?

We're in a weird situation honestly, we should be rocking 8 AP come next turn. Where in terms of required missions, Demon Flamez costs 1 AP and expires so we need to take it, all of Fellowship/Third Person/Shroud cost 2 AP and would have one more turn, and we have R-Train costing 2 AP and whatever AP costs exist the for the Hero Worship and Magical Girl followup actions.

Ignoring Fellowship for now as frankly we should be doing that action later on due to the very high stat checks there, we have 7 AP worth of missions + the followup recruitments. If they cost 1, then things are at least in theory easy, its just a question of if we dump Shroud or Third Person for a turn and do three 1 AP actions. If they cost 2, then things will get tricky based on what the actions end up being.
 
Honestly if epoxy power lets us speedran getting rid of the gems Id be down for giving it to John.

Hes an engineer too so it actually works well with him in being able to craft things.
 
Ah it wont work epoxy only sticks things together unless Higher potency lets just not only stick things but temove them as well epoxy power wont work.
 
What do you think GQ's power looks like in sample form? It's gotta be 6+.

I think it's Transmutation since that tag seems to imply shaping and controlling pre-existing materials. She carves characters into objects that modify their properties. Ally Empowerment, as well?

I've thought about it and... We do need to avoid the Mahou running out of g9. Of course..... .... This is primarily done with the calculation that YQ doesn't want any more attention either.

And Crusade has a target... Something I wonder if we can leverage.
I wonder though if we could call up Wolong Or Stockpile Aka not calling him it and get them to cooperate to hem in the Mahou Shoujo to their current area... Oh and we should probably tell Crusade that Monarch has stored Goldnine and might weaponise it
 
Its not bad plan unfortunately Crusade isnt reasonable but an org created to take down or weakean JU more than protecting people.

Its why ronin noted even if they take down GQ theyd still pin everything us our fault since the fact she used JU name to bait people is too useful for their real goals.

Actually isnt what makes the MGs really Qilin Power jist using FT as medium?

In that case rocks Power Null should be able to get rid of qilin power on the girls. Even if the Power Null is short range it should be able to heal any Victim thats touching E-B.

So just wait for Rocks Cooldown and keep using Power null until all victims are saved.

Nice thing is, if noelle hops on right away, we can put her in Exceed Beyond and pick up a hero without needing to spend another dose of goldnine.
Not gonna work btw we still need ambrosia to give someone the power to wield E-B.

Its still a better lead than most. Id trust in E-B own bullshit to counter Qilins bullshit.

Nah mechanic wise Power Null is per combat and dynamite is per mission.

Mechanical Notes: Modules must be selected for a scene and may be changed between scenes. Using any power in blue will disable the module until the end of a combat encounter. Using module "dynamite" will disable the EXCEED-BEYOND armor until the end of the mission.

That means we can use both Power Null and Dynamites reality warp to save the girls with E-B.

We can only go with this plan if we Push our luck and get the extra ambrosia doses though.
