I don't want Press Your Luck because Qilin is crazy. Even if we succeed maximally at the check and get away scotfree, that's still a minimum of an additional turn where she still do dumb shit. Her current actions are already a shitshow, I don't want her to fuck up more things.

I think the warehouse has enough to hold us out if we contact R-Train next turn. Shit, even if we can't I'd rather deal with Monarch than her, at least she seems sane.

Well I will grant that should we make a deal with Yellow Qilin, haggling her or not, she will be wary of whatever Leizi will be up to next time now that she has made her move. Like we can still outwit her since she's very clearly in over her head and too arrogant for her own good, but general wariness all the same.

The problem is we need to spend 2 turn to get G9 from R-Train. The First R-Train mission is just talking with them then we need to find the Trackmaster to solidfy the deal and get a stable of supply of g9.

So theirs risk of Girls dying off in the 2 months we spend forging the alliance with R-Train.

Its Push our Luck is both risky but most proffitable.

True but P13 are hard to counter. If we get Noelle as candidate here thanks to crit and with ambrosia we can sugar her next turn to get E-B online.

They had an entire warehouse full of it earlier, potentially more elsewhere. That'll be enough until we make contact with the R-Train.

Noelle said that the amount she stole earlier is barely enough to tide her girls over, nevermind everyone else, despite the fact she stole a bunch of the crates. We're going to need a lot of goldnine and the only way to get it is to deal with YQ.

Hmm it really is a question if theres enough G9 to tide the girls over for 2 months we need to set up the supply line if we go loud or permanently cure the risk of them getting Throne'd

Press luck gives us time and change for more heroes with the risk of failure making things harder if we fail.

I have a feeling that if we attack her, she's going to force-hijack the gems or something and both kill the girls and empower the Frozen Throne.

The extortion thing comes with an ambush too, although I don't know if it's going to be this turn or the next.
I mean, if she can just kill all the megucas with a snap of her fingers then Press Your Luck is just delaying the inevitable, unless you somehow have a plan to assassinate her despite her obvious protective items. Leizhi, Ronin and her locked in a room is already one of the most advantageous positions we can have because as a crafter she can beseech the all-poweful God known as "Prep Time", and depending on how that goes it could really screw us over.

No? The chance we get goldnine in the R-Train mission is not worded any worse than in the meguca mission, why would we need 2 turns? Heck, we know Nora made a deal with it for goldnine so it's not even unprecedented.

Noelle didn't have enough for her girls, but the triad clearly has enough for theirs and then some because they're selling despite their army of little girls.

Bro what? Nora told us how we can make a deal with R-Train for G9. That the mission line Train comes a rolling in.

To forge the alliance we need to find the Trackmaster in the follow up mission after dipling the r-train. That how we get a steadly supply.

That mean R-Train action at T4 and T5.

Edit: hell if not for BS having Extreme Psychic sensitivity we would have neede to look through Nora trash for a way to diplo the R-Train.

Yes, because they can just phone Monarch and ask for more.

There's nothing to indicate they have more on hand than the warehouse.
They're clearly running a surplus as evident by the fact they have a warehouse full of goldnine, that they still want to sell despite their current upkeep costs, and they have a net positive supply from Monarch whose initial plan for ND was drowning the district in Goldnine. The excess goldnine has to go somewhere, so I'm willing to bet they have more than one warehouse of goldnine.

Hmm taking down Qilin group here should atleast mean the follow up mission is about curing the girls. Though whether thad be a 1AP mission or not is a question.

Okay just woke up and .... She's crazy. You can't negotiate with her... Which is a shame because her power sounds like shewould make a great recruit. Ah well well use her corpse.
She's crazy!
And again do nothing we lose the Narrative....

Okay... Several ideas
- Turn Foxglove and Abarimon. Throw them in into Frozen Throne's Baba YAga Wonderland as the Wardens. Whoever we throw in there deserves them.
2. Get rid of her as soon as possible.....

Take no risk of hergetting prep......
Okay throw set up supply of goldnine to girls to the pile

BTW as for Prep note that Leizi talked about us being in a Vault with her power along with her subordiantes outside we also need to fight.

So its really a matter of aking on her prep now. Or relying on stronger Forces for ambush next turn such as Yara with a P13 power to counteract any more prep she makes in the meantime.

Huh? Here's how's the reward for R-Train is worded:
Eventual chance of establishing permanent supply of goldnine, eventual chance of alliance with R-Train,
And here is how it is worded for the current mission:
Chance of eventually finding supplier of goldnine,
Considering we can get more goldnine during this mission completion and not the turn after, I don't think that will be the case for R-Train. Yes we need to help it for the full alliance, but presumably he can just supply goldnine as advance payment and we can negotiate along these lines, even if R-Train doesn't see this as just a continuation of the deal with Nora, which is emminently possible.

Remember she can also buy muscle from Monarch too; she's already paying her anyway.

Thats because we crit massively here since orignally MG were supposed to play us our allies instead of being revealed as using our naem to ruin it.

If a Reward States "Eventually" gain something it usually means we need to do follow up mission to get those rewards.

So for R-Train unless something Changes we can only get G9 and buy more after completing Finding the Trackmaster.

Edit:
You can assume you'll get at rest one dose of goldmine for completing either goldnine-quest chains aa well the option to purchase more. So it's more like issue 4.
Heres the quote. Our crit in Espionage to find oute the Ghost Triad is responsible for both Monarch and the MGs is the reason we can buy directly now.

I doubt wed get something like this in R-Train so we get the G9 supply line after finding the trackmaster

??? That literally says if take R-Train in the next turn we will be safe for another turn plus we will have the option to purchase more, which is literally what is happening this turn? Why do you think goldnine sale would be locked behind getting Trackmaster?

Because eventual rewards needs us to complete the follow up mission.

Its why getting a Yara as a Candidate and recruit Belle requires completing Reality Check.

The Same applies with the R-Train.

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding the situation, but if we walk out of the room without attacking Yellow Qilin, that would look like implicitly endorsing the "fake Justice Unlimited" branch right? Brass Shield is waiting outside to pin everything on us. And unless we've got a hell of a yarn, we can't count on Ronin to cover for us without blowing her cover. Can we really afford to risk our reputation with Crusade looking to pounce?

One potential side benefit I see; if we take the magical girl victims as our wards and provide full transparency, Justice Unlimited would have an excuse/fig leaf for investigating the R-train and acquiring more goldnine.

I'm looking at this, and I can't help but agree with Leizi.

Yellow's a dead girl walking and this kind of thing…

A part of me suddenly wonders if the Throne and the Leviathan are fundamentally opposed and the Leviathan wasn't a blind idiot but making a genuine sacrifice play to stop the Throne from eating Reality.

I'm also extremely tempted by flipping the table but also…
Am I missing something or does it feel like the Exlipse? The super-rich space people that Warhawk? Is an apart of, basically wrote off the Earth as lost to the various problems and infighting?
Because that's what it sounds like now that I think on it.
And in turn, the Americans become the people who had a link to them and thus could keep them from going turbo evil.
It…
Also reminds me I like Isekai for a reason…
But. That's probably down to not knowing how many other surprises Leizi is holding.

Hnm if we Push our Luck I wonder if wed be abel to immediately recruit Noelle as a candidate to give an ambrosia with next turn.

Us keeping a large amount of G9 would be too weird to her and also with heart to heart Leizi might be willing to teust noelle on prometheos and vice versa.

This is pure speculation on your part especially since the Go Loud option doesn't mention anything about getting goldnine and instead states that its benefits are purely stopping YQ and her crazy blackmail plan (and thus Monarch's source of funding).

Like, they're not "running a surplus", nobody else except them is using goldnine, and they effectively have infinite access to via Monarch, who seems significantly less insane than YQ and isn't leaving mountains of the stuff lying around for the simple it's both world-ending and she makes money by selling it to the GDT, who in turn sells it to parents who don't want to see their kids turn into monsters.

It's never stated that she's simply going to sell us the goldnine she has and nothing else, rather in the goldnine selling options she asks Monarch for more goldnine.

There is no silver bullet option in quests. Bitterman basically said so earlier.

Yeh which is why I'm willing to risk Push our Luck, since we didnt take R-Train this turn we cant provide the G9 the girls need. The fact it gives us a stockpile for our High Candidate to quickly go online helps too. If we succeed its a major advantage for the future problems.

Edit: That said QM would our allies stats such as Noelle and Ronins Espionage and Rep be added in rolls? or would Ronin to focus on her cover and not be able to help?

This entire quest has been one blow after another to Justice Unlimited. I have to ask, is there any way we can get a victory that is not pyrhhic? I am not talking about this negotiation, but about the entire premiae of this quest. We really need a breather, otherwise it has been one bad news after another, and it doesnt seem to be stopping. Can we win at anything? It gets mentally draining and depressing to get bad and worse news in every update, with no light at the end of the tunnel.
