Does that mean she has approximately 25 million dollars in her bank account?
It -was- just meant as an exclamation of surprise, but I'll go clear that up.
Does that mean she has approximately 25 million dollars in her bank account?
Its is always interesting how everytime gun training is discussed in story, chat always gets flooded with safety rules.
Anyway, nice bit of character interaction and Alchemist seems slowly but steadily moving towards becoming a terminator. BTW what would fuel his new shiny body? Somehow i dont think that usual food would be enough and soulgem is just for housing of his soul. We would all be immortal if it was possible to power out bodies with our own souls.

Well, he had told her to do whatever she wanted on his computer after all...
:p
Shouldn't stay logged in affter-all.Because some don't give a fuck about this because they are rich and fameous, and people die and/or end up in hospital with gunshot wounds. Its is always interesting how everytime gun training is discussed in story, chat always gets flooded with safety rules.
When I get into arguments with my family about guns I use this same statement but apparently, it's the person that handed them the gun fault that it was loaded and not their fault for pulling the trigger and putting a hole in the wall."There is no such thing as a safe gun. There is no such thing as an unloaded gun. A gun is always loaded, a gun is always live. Period. Especially when it isn't."

GUN SAFTEY FAX FTW!"First rule." The kid said as he put the shotgun down on the table next to the handgun. "There is no such thing as a safe gun. There is no such thing as an unloaded gun. A gun is always loaded, a gun is always live. Period. Especially when it isn't."
Wasn't the T-3000 an upgrade? Or am I misremembering and it just has better weapons along with being able to split into an amorphous unit and a skeleton. The Murphy unit, from the snes game of Robocop Vs Terminator
More seriously. T-1000. It's stable and provides a solid base to upgrade from. And if you have to deal with the programming aspect, the T-1000 has shown the capability to evolve beyond its original parameters.
Nice chapter, but what kind of crappy bank is Alchemist using? You should never be able to log in to an account by simply clicking on the stored link or bookmark! This should only get you to the login screen where you would have to provide a two-factor authentication. None of the info should be stored in the browser. He had a lot of entries to Gotham1stbankonline? She clicked that and...
"What? What!? How?!" He had more in his bank account than she did! By several orders of magnitude!

Although Arnie's T-800 was able to gain sapience given time. He could make and appreciate art and music for example. He sometimes had trouble with social interactions but he was alive.
Although I hated the Dark Fate plot line and characterizations. Arnold and Hamilton were the only saving grace of that film. Furlong and Schwarzenegger had better on screen presence. The angry woman who verbally abused everyone trying to help was the wrong way to portray a strong woman.
Sigourney Weaver and Hamilton are how you portray strong females in action films. Nichelle Nichols, Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey and so 9n and so forth. These are how you show strong women. Dark Fate was a joke.
I find it hilarious the contracted healing mage is one of the most deadly and effective assassins in the setting and he's on the Justice League payroll. Although he spends his time pretending to be an insane hermit, with a penchant for Disney Princess style song and dance routine, with Toad Curse happy, itchy, hair-trigger fingers.I double checked and you're right, I was not. I'll go ahead and correct that.
It's been about a decade since I watched any of the terminator films, I really should've checked the proper titles against my memories.
Because all of us who have dealt with firearms have horrors stories of how...I want to say careless but I think STUPID is the more appropriate word, people can be with firearms. Its is always interesting how everytime gun training is discussed in story, chat always gets flooded with safety rules.
Yea, since my daughter was old enough I knew she could follow instructions I've made sure to give her semi regular refreshers on gun safety, she knows how to get into my safe if it's an emergency, but she also knows the world damn well better be ending if she opens it.It's a lot to do with how we're trained in firearm safety. Rather than just instructed a few times and maybe given a paper test, it's dogmatically drilled into a lot of us.
Mostly because, well, I think it's the idea that if we're not afraid of a gun, we're not respecting it and the risk it carries.
So when it's brought up, even in passing, we remember what we were taught and told with a surprising amount of clarity and force.
Personal experience, stupid comes in all tax brackets, just when you have to shoot your food growing up you probably have a better idea about gun safety.Because some don't give a fuck about this because they are rich and fameous, and people die and/or end up in hospital with gunshot wounds.
*throws up hands* Preach it!GUN SAFTEY FAX FTW!
Seriously though, they're point and die sticks. Ya'll gotta be careful
Does that mean she has approximately 25 million dollars in her bank account?
Yeah I learned never to trust them to not pull the trigger on a gun indoors and myself to never forget to check that it's fully emptyI hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I would argue both are at fault there.
Thankfully, it sounds like nobody was actually hurt. And at least one of you had a learning experience.
Empty breech, the safety is on and the magazine is on the table where I can see it. My neighbor shot his cat when he tried to clean his brand new Mossberg. I think he's going senile, how do you forget to unload a gun and check the breech when you clean?Yeah I learned never to trust them to not pull the trigger on a gun indoors and myself to never forget to check that it's fully empty
Maybe he didn't love his cat anymore and it wasn't an accident?Empty breech, the safety is on and the magazine is on the table where I can see it. My neighbor shot his cat when he tried to clean his brand new Mossberg. I think he's going senile, how do you forget to unload a gun and check the breech when you clean?
As they quoted, the story at the time only had "By an order of magnitude!" written. Not sure why you returned to/brought the discussion back to something from the prior page which was already addressed.Several orders of magnitude not one. Several is more than two less than many (usually 10 or more)
This seems flawed. Unless I am misinterpreting, it relies upon the listener to believe themselves capable of missing...4. Just because you miss doesn't mean the bullet stops. Be aware of what's behind your target.
That line was acctually a jab at something recent, but I get what you mean.Personal experience, stupid comes in all tax brackets, just when you have to shoot your food growing up you probably have a better idea about gun safety.
I missed that part. Did not know the author corrected it. I am also a grammar Nazi.As they quoted, the story at the time only had "By an order of magnitude!" written. Not sure why you returned to/brought the discussion back to something from the prior page which was already addressed.
Because after a while you forgot to do things and the longer you do them the more you forget.Empty breech, the safety is on and the magazine is on the table where I can see it. My neighbor shot his cat when he tried to clean his brand new Mossberg. I think he's going senile, how do you forget to unload a gun and check the breech when you clean?
