okay, this chapter is great and far better than the others, I get what you are trying to do, I really do, but the whole grim dark take on things are just not my cup of tea. Im more glad for the upbeat path forward. Now I wonder what body he is inside of now or did he already have one in backup for these type of situations.

From what we've seen, I don't think Rewind erases memories so, for Izuku, he might have gone from 'suicide in front of All Might ' to '8 y.o in front of mom' and Alec may or may not have been expelled from the body. . .

Izuku should have the Original body, don't know what might have happened with any clones, replicas, duplicates or otherwise grown body.

If Alec is still alive and present in BNHA, he is probably mourning right now, since he already ia resigned to the existence of the Source Wall and the consequences thereof.

This last extra also gave some conclusion of Alec's involvement to both Eri and Izuku's storylines, which means that can be a good place to stop.

As always, the final decision is in the author's hands.

Thanks for the normal chapter and the extra!

He grew a Clone using Wish to copy the Clone Spell. Since he "died" and his soul was able and willing, he took over the clone.

Yeah, no way in hell is he abandoning Eri like that. He's going to wake up in his clone and picking the little girl up.
Too bad he's going to have to fight to get her back. I can almost guarantee that someone, either All Might and co. or the HPSC(Probably to continue Kais experiments in their case) are going to have her.

They don't really even have the time to do so if they even know what the girl can do. Clone resurrection is instantaneous, Alec can fly or teleport directly to the Midoriya household. All Might may get there while he's in the process of leaving but the HPSC has no clue even that she's there.

I wonder how these fit into the timeline of the story. I initially thought they where AU where these where the worlds he started in. But this resent one with his abilities from the main story and his pocket universe that shows he family once lived there makes me wonder what happened.

There are letters he has no read in his Demi plane, they probably have important information he should know.

Wait... Is Eri Rupunzel? Let see stuck in a place check. Have bad guy raising her check. Has healing or aging reversal... Check? And being a princess ... Well yakuza princess oh... Wow

Pretty sure the letters were Ash's name on the food bowl.

Why would Eri know English letters and not just think "Weird symbols/writing" instead?

Is not like she had any schooling to even know how to write her name in the most basic of Japanese writing (because for some reason they have three different alphabets in Japan.)

"Ah, well... It seems she overused her Quirk, I think? She's asleep on the couch right now." The woman sounded better and better as she spoke, which was good. It also sounded like they may have found the missing child from the Yakuza case, which was also fantastic! "And my son looks like he's about eight years old."

If Izuku is lucky, Alchemist left Izuku and Eri some spell scrolls as an apology present (to Izuku) and something to remember by (to Eri). Even minor spells like [Cure], [Esuna], [Predigistation], and [Repair] would be a huge gamechanger in a magicless world.

If Izuku is really, really lucky, being possessed by Alchemist might've left Izuku some magical abilities like Leslie Winters. Quote: "One cannot be touched by great power and remain unchanged."

waiting for the inevitable moment he asks "where is Eri" and all might can't answer, and he goes ape shit and destroys the HPSC

or he uses the bilocation spell and surrenders to all might

then he is seen outside and asked "why is there another of you there" and simply says that he can clone himself,

and then they lose their shit so much they don't even ask how many times and go on believing he can clone himself indefinitely like twice

Yeah, no way in hell is he abandoning Eri like that. He's going to wake up in his clone and picking the little girl up.

the reason he did that is because it's likely the safest place to put Eri in case he gets sent back to DC, in case his pocket dimension got sent back with him

Eri is too tempting a target in DC with the light running about

Got to admit, kind of wanting the author to place the main fic on ice and finish this MHA cross. I've had too many cases of treating abused children when I was in Pediatrics residency, Eiri's journey to healing got me hooked bad.
Yeah the main story has reached the gamer plateau where it's almost all slice of life or Alec dick slapping various realities, with no real stakes. The side story is really really engaging.

Honestly I think the success of the side story shows what should be the format for the main fic. More self contained short stories rather than one long novel of serialized chapters

She might be able to recognize them AS letters, even if she can't read them. Eri wasn't a toddler when her Quirk emerged (edit apparently wrong, but her memory goes back that far anyway becuz anime), and English is still reasonably present in the setting as a trade/culture language. There are a lot of heroes that use English words in their names and the jolly giant himself to give it more cultural weight. Reading it is understandably unlikely, but recognizing it is more understandable. Sorta like how a lot of Americans could ID a character system as writing (and most can spot the differences even if they can't name them) even if they might have no idea whether it's kanji, Mandarin, or Korean and they definitely can't read it.

Unless Eri had access to a TV while imprisoned I find that unlikely, then again do we have the exact date of when she erased her dad? How old was she?
Sources state she erased her father as a toddler, but by anime rules (children are more mature then they should be, and teens/adults are selectively much less mature) she remembers this. More relevantly, she was taken in by her grandfather Yakuza boss and raised normal-ish for that time until Overhaul's coup (2-3 then adopted and raised until 5-7 when she was experimented on for what seems to be 1-2 years, leaving a final age of 6-9.) So with how saturated all levels Japan's people are with hero media, she has almost certainly been exposed to at least some English.

Please finish this side-story! I mean, not going to try and force you if you can't, but I'd really love it if you could!

Shit I got more invested in this than in the main story, okay Eri please remember that Alec made another body before (I hope) and is there so Mr Dragon is back.

Arc closure for BnHA, so it wouldn't be an actively bad place to end or pause it to concentrate on ther main story again, but there are still some important open questions, so a great point to use that as a foundation to keep going.

I suppose it could even tie in as part of the main story, originating from the current situation with Zeus as the antagonist going badly, or else Al getting hit with some divine punishment after the fact even if it went well? Stripped of (most of) their power and kicked offplane is one of the classic things gods do to protagonists who earn their special enmity, or for that matter what a helpful god might do to let the angry one(s) smite a decoy left behind using the missing power to make itself look like the real thing. I don't think that's actually the case here, or at least was intended as being the case when the side story began, but it wouldn't be implausible by my reckoning.

Honesty she could have erased her dad when she was like three years old, old enough for a traumatic event to be remembered yet not old enough for her Quirk to be in the Register, then have one year raised by Yakuza then Overhaul takeover and she gets abused for two years.

Then again I am not the MHA writer.
