Prince Aladdin Quest (Disney Villains *Almost* Victorious)

I was looking through the Learning actions, most of which seem to have been unlocked as a result of us having a college of medicine in Agrabah. I'd like to propose approaching them in the following order:
- [][Learning] Tinker, Tailor, Engineer...
Because mystery box, and cool stuff. Also cheap.
- [][Learning] Getting a Leg Up
Cheapest option available, and will help with future military actions if we can help wounded soldiers with ready-made prothetics.
-[][Learning] When you wish upon a Star
Might help with figuring out what caused everything recently.
- [][Learning] The Heart-Shaped Herb
Syncs well with the proposed greenhouse this turn, and will hopefully reduce the cost/DC of other medicine-related actions.
- [][Learning] A Green Thumb...
Same, building our medical infrastructure.
- [][Learning] Train Physicians
Doctors before hospitals. Also slight revenue increase.
- [][Learning] He Ain't Heavy...
If anything happens to Chiron, we'll need this.
- [][Learning] A Spoonful of Sugar...
Capstone action. And of course...
- [][Learning] Renewal and Rejuvination
Can do anytime, but would prefer to do it once the greenhouse is up and running.

I'm not adverse to getting it this turn versus the beast hunt, it's just as I said previously; tossing in the greenhouse cost+upkeep along with it was a no go for me.
Good point. I'd be willing to switch it, since we need beasts too, as well as beast hunt being cheaper and not creating upkeep.

I've updated my plan to have us hunt for beasts instead of training night fighters. I'd still like to do that action, but I'm willing to delay it until next turn assuming we have a successful Martial roll here. I've also included an economics breakdown in my plan post. Short version, after upkeep we'll have 14,500 gold available for next turn.

I really, really want the greenhouse, but I'd be willing to consider Hidden Hollows and Gilded Glens since that gives us concrete rewards instead of just more actions.

Edit: just examined the action, and it just unlocks more actions. Gonna have to say no to that for now, sorry.

The greenhouse will either give more occult actions or discounts to existing ones.
The Mage has requested the construction of a specialized form of building that can assist in the growing of plants no matter the weather, calling it a Green House. This structure will allow his acolytes to plant and grow a number of potent herbs and other reagents that are of use in the creation of magic potions and enchanted items.

Depends on if we manage to get our mitts on Gummi technology and/or Mechanicles's gear.

Speaking of Mechanikles, is he more *our* problem or that of *Greece*? I know that in DVV, there is a lot of "cross-contamination" going on between the different franchises, but that guy is still a weird in-between as a *greek character* in an *arabic setting*.

I don't think it was ever mention why he was in Aladdin's neck of the woods in the show as compared to Greece.

Based on the description, I have a feeling it will reduce the DC/costs of a bunch of learning actions as well - it would be a great place to transplant the heart-shaped herb or the cutting from the tree. And it would make setting up something similar for our hospital a lot easier. Might even unlock some Stewardship actions as we export our excess.

Assumining we'd have the money to do any of said actions.

Oh he's very much a problem for you guys. Especially since Greece is part of Titan country right now. Far far too messy.

Sometimes you have to invest big to get big returns. And TempestK gave us that massive buffer at the start for a reason. As long as we focus on actions that help boost our income/reduce our costs, I think we'll come out on top, even if some of them require hefty investments at the start.
City Coffers: 29,500 City income per turn: 8,500
Total cost 22,000 Upkeep change -2,000
Final coffers: 7,500 and 6,500 income.
Next turn we would have (assuming everything goes smoothly) 14,000. Split evenly between the 6 sections we'd have 2,333 to work with in each. Yes, there are actions that don't cost anything/less than 2000 but others (which may be required that turn) cost a great deal more.

Yes and as the Greatest of the Great Greek Geniuses, he shall clean this mess. Give him six months and I expect to see him sending a clockwork/steampunk Jaeger to throw down against the Titans and other monsters.
Hades: "Guy may be a loony but damn is this fun to watch."

@jwolfe_beta , maybe you'll switch a Corresponding with Jasmine to Visit? Because at least part of the people, as far as I can tell, woting for Keep Friends plan because of it.

Btw, @TempestK , I have two questions about the DC of Correspond with Jasmine and Visit Jasmine. I don't ask for anything you consider to be a spoiler.
1) That not 1, because if DC is (and, more importantly, was) 1, with 3 that wouldn't be a failure. Or our Stewardship failure added to DC, and we failed because of that?
2) Does that action have degrees of success, or we just need to have success enough times? Because first time we got nothing (nothing bad too, though), and then, with second attempt, our relationship improved. So, was that because we rolled better, or because we did it sucessfully twice?

Shouldn't Will be helping the hunters if Cat's in the Cradle is no longer the Martial action we're doing?

Yeah, I need to change that. It should have been degrees of success; with a cumulative effect. If you guys had had a lot of good rolls that 3 would have had less impact overall. Sorry for the confusion.

Here's how the votes stand at the moment. Still pretty close.

The Mechanikles character predates Hercules, but he fits in fine with the gimmicks of that film. The Arabian Knight episode of the Hercules cartoon also retconned them as being in the same universe, so he can be slotted in without too much trouble being caused.

I'm picking and choosing carefully from the Hercules cartoon since one of the major running themes (Hades trying to get Herc killed) runs completely counter to the movie.
