Tha k you. Now, the marriage candidate NPCs... oh, I have a 23 years old elder princess.. any takers? Evenagelics and Orthodox preferred....
@Raptor580 you might want to look at this.

As far as NPCs... James Stearns is unmarried, though it's not exactly your traditional dynastic marriage given that he's 2 years into his first turn.

Wouldn't we all?

New Canaan is living the dream,

I mean, if your dream is being locked in an existential war with the hideous chimera offspring of the Order of Reason & the Celestial Chorus while everyone else sits around "Man, that Commonwealth is just made of dicks. Oh well, someone will do something about them eventually, back to digging canals"...

Yes we are, go us?

Alright players:

If you're trading with someone they can choose to buff your technology growth with the proceeds from their end of the trade.
new heroes appear on a 95+ on a d100 roll per turn, bonuses for major events at GM's discretion.
Submit plans to find artifacts.
You cannot have more than 5 trade routes simultaneously
Spend some of your national spells limit as magitech: Copies one technology. So En-Djinns as a 2-point magitech, for instance.
Heroes have magic rating x2 spells at start, gain another point every 2 years
You start with (1/4 of your magic rating) heroes. So if you're magic rating 20, that's 5 heroes at start.

A) The order of Reason IS a bastard child of the Celestial Chorus.
B) look for a secret major action, Canaanite.
Sweden has not and will not forgive Oceania and our views on slavery go from merely manumissory to fiercely opposed.

We HAVE minor mages, yes? How high are the ratings of our heroes?

Yey!

Huh.
Submit plans to find artifacts.
Im assuming that takes a major action?

Ah.

Mkay.

The 3-hero limit still applies, doesn't it? Or is the limit higher?

Basically, let's say you have Magic Rating 5. Your hero will have 10 points, able to spend it on , say 2 Level-5 Spells.

They're represented by Squad Mages/Magitech in general. Heroes have the same rating as your nation.

Yes, and it isn't guaranteed success, but putting in more research and funds helps.

Yes. I don't know what you mean by three-hero limit though.

@Conundrum I improved the army creation rules. What did you ask about the military?

Slight corrections:

  • They have to have higher tech than you in whatever field you're buffing.
  • You CAN, but factions will begin to lose loyalty from your unseemly reliance on outsiders.

So the major partner has to spend the EP they gained from the trade deal to buff you, decreasing the value of the deal for themselves, and pushing your gain per year potentially to 3.5 (base + native investment + foreign investment). You basically run out of any headroom there and hit the average+3 limit quickly.

Yes. But since it's entirely reliant on the goodwill of the major partner presumably you're going to likely be paying for it somewhere else.

@Theravis

If we've made any diplomatic offers (such as establishing trade relations) to other players through PMs and they accepted would we still need to list those actions in the diplomacy section of our turn post?
