Green. Assume they started last turn.
Yes, it would be cost modifier 1.2, though each role is slightly less effective in a multirole. What would twin engine heavy fighters like the BF-110 and the P-38 be classified as? Also, for multipurpose, it says to add them together and subtract one fro the total, given that air superiority seems to have a modifier of one, wouldn't that mean that anything matched with an air superiority role would only cost the other role? An Air Superiority+CAS plane would be 1.0+1.2-1.0 for 1.2 right?

As for classifications, they're largely mission-based.
Air Superiority are your energy/turn fighters, meant to destroy enemy fighters and clear the way for other aircraft.
Interceptors are generally fast and heavily armed, meant for taking down bombers.I'd classify the P-38 as a interceptor-superiority Fighter personally.
CAS are usually gun-armed and meant for strafing. Low altitude, close coordination with ground troops.
Medium/Dive Bombers are for bombing tactical targets: Ships, concentrations of units, staging points, runway cratering, fuel depots, etc.
Heavy Bombers are for strategic destruction: Roads, factories, and cities. When nothing but carpet bombing will do.
I'm not going that in depthAh, cool, general designation like that solves some problems, though your comment about CAS usually being gun armed raises some questions for me, can you give a few examples of CAS aircraft? I am curious if you mean niche vehicles like the JU-87G. I also realized the first post has amphibious listed which I took to mean aircraft like the A6M2-N but would like some clarification like if that includes full carrier borne navalization or if there is no cost for carrier navaliztion of aairframes.
[Edit: remove redundancy: ASM Missile >_> ]
I believe he basically just means any aircraft capable of providing Close Air Support, whether that means helicopters or a plane designed for strafing runs with machine guns, or a short-range / precision ASM launching craft.
[Edit: Not sure how but I wrote Junkers as Junks. Fixed]
[Edit 2.0: Have a good night everyone. I stayed up way too late =) ]
@Conundrum - Obviously I don't know exactly what's in his head, but based on the description I would suggest that the German Junkers J.I and the British Sopwith Salamander would be good examples of what he means by CAS Aircraft? Trench-fighters.
Examples come from a combination of quick research, my understanding of what he meant, and a bit of a read up on Trench Fighters / Trench Strafing.
Just don't make me come over there Wales. Cause I will if I have to
I forget, what do you think of Protestants?Just don't make me come over there Wales. Cause I will if I have to
Not a fan. Louis XIV removed the Hugeunots from France, I'm just not sure how much the downtime ideals of religious freedom have Integrated into French society
Sucks for you then. You're gonna have protestant grandbabbies. Not a fan. Louis XIV removed the Hugeunots from France, I'm just not sure how much the downtime ideals of religious freedom have Integrated into French society
It's weird. I can see those words, but for some reason all I can understand in them is 'Dear France, I have no intention of ever being cooperative with you. Please punch me in the face before I inevitably stab you in the back during your next major war."Sucks for you then. You're gonna have protestant grandbabbies.
Also, you aren't getting taxes. Political turmoil, I'm afraid. It happens. The Irish sea is also very treacherous. And we're poor. Bad harvest. Plus we need the money for our military. And there are still supporters for Cromwrell we need to find.
Thats a very nice treasure fleet you have there. It's weird. No idea where I'm getting that from though
Never seen that
Generally fine guys, were set up after a crusade, they should allow free and open access to the holy land. Wish they were Christian. The Mamluks have various territorial disputes with them.
