@Theravis ?

Can I get a estimate of colonial population vs sweden, Norway and European pssesions for Sweden-Norway ?

Also, anybody interested in being the dynasty that, around 1675 0r a bit earlier, married a scion to the current king?
Who is atm just 26, btw. Came into power very surprisingly last year, when his father died and his mother followed suit a few months after. Coronation id this year at the Spring Equinox . Nig party, all heads of state invited....

I literally do not recognize more than five percent of this.
Except for 'Great Wales' and 'Awen', the poetic spirit or the muse.
But Xothian this is not.

Wales would be more the place to summon Nodens , Shub-Niggurath or perhaps a lloigor. None of which are a great Old One.

Sorry, catholic. I will have enough on my hands with some other maritial shennanigans...

Alright.

The only house I really don't wanna marry to is the House of Guzmán because that was João IV's wife house.

Also whoever wants Princess Catherine and Joana (I am having her survive too) married to right off the start go right ahead with offers.

Edit: They are willing to convert since Catherine did marry Charles II in OTL.

@Theravis I'm interested in the Ashanti, but I have a few questions re: technology and magic before I join:
  1. If it says I can't advance a field of technology for more than three years beyond my average, does that mean that the Ashanti (for example) with an average advancement of 1860 can't advance at all in the fields of industry (and other fields of 1870 and more) until the national average is raised?
  2. I'm sure it has been asked before in this thread but I guess it's possible to get assistance on your tech from other nations?
  3. How do heroes work? Or more precise, how can I get heroes? Do I spend my magic points on them? If so, is it one point per hero?
  4. Can magic units cast national spells as often as they want or is there a limit?

It's the third verse of the Welsh national anthem.

Also, you'd be killing her.

It cannot be boosted, but it will still rise at the base rate.

@Theravis
Question about the Oceania slave population. I was assuming things would be similar to the OTL slave trade (imported or descended from Africans) , but re-reading the OP it looks like Oceania sourced all their "Work for nothing, also we get to own your kids" from the locals in North and South America?

(Asking because it impacts finding pictures for characters as well as the exact flavor of Canaan's syncreatic magic system)

[Edit: Not sure how but I wrote Junkers as Junks. Fixed]
[Edit 2.0: Have a good night everyone. I stayed up way too late =) ]

@Conundrum - Obviously I don't know exactly what's in his head, but based on the description I would suggest that the German Junkers J.I and the British Sopwith Salamander would be good examples of what he means by CAS Aircraft? Trench-fighters.

Examples come from a combination of quick research, my understanding of what he meant, and a bit of a read up on Trench Fighters / Trench Strafing.
Basically, and you can sort of cover each role with the other.

1: Thanks Estro
2: Yes. Still working out exactly how that works.
3: Either by event, or in a few cases, you can start with one. I did have a plan for how they would be gained organically, but I wanted to get things out.
4: Yes, but they have a specific list they have access to.

Both. They have natives, imported Africans, and the mixed-race children thereof. Very few mixed white-slave children though, thanks to Puritanism. Any sinner so depraved as to fornicate with the Children of Ham shall be devoted to the fires of the stake to save them from the fires of hell.

@Alex Costa @Sailor Midgard did you want NPC options still?

Yes, since my allies seem to not want to marry my heir/the current king.

Also, how do my pop stats break down into the lands ?

Man, pick the hard questions.

You'd be looking at about 1 million in the Deccan, about 200k between the other colonies total, and the remainder in Sweden-Finland-Norway.

As an explaination: I went through a ethnographical history book with a comb to put together the population numbers, especially for India/America, but I didn't write down exact populations for each section.
