And because what would this quest even be if we didn't spend all possible time with Vista? (Which is totally her "real" person, like how Bruce Wayne is the mask)

These are the only two I can think of who won't endanger our secret identity since they are listed as our guardians, or at least Lacey is.
Plus, a chance to help them repair their marriage.

As much as I'm sure most want to include Missy, explaining that is difficult. Plus, we already went on vacation with her.
All the rest, especially adults make it difficult to answer the question what they are doing hanging out with a teenage girl.
Choosing Dragon or Cassiel is even worse, how exactly do we know these two fairies? Especially the famously agoraphobic Dragon who never appears outside her suits?
Secret identities guys, both Taylor's and others. It's still important. We're going as Taylor Hebert, not Calamity Witch. Who does Taylor publicly know? Who can we reveal without endangering secret identities?

The fairy thing shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't try to smuggle them in. Remember that Dragon has been working on a gynoid body…

I was wonder how this would work, but if the body finished then sure lets bring her along.

Re: Secret identities

While Kayleigh will have her suspicions, it'd be pretty easy to just call Missy a family friend or similar. Dragon and Cass can also blend in, depending on how Dragon's gynoid turns out.

Missy could definitely use a vacation, but I'm not sure if this might drive another wedge btw CW and the Protectorate if they don't want Vista to go.

Lacey's acting as our mom, and I feel we could use more social with her as a result. For our mental health as much as anything. Vista is our bestie, and Cassiel desperately needs more human time for everyone's sake.

For votes like this, SW prefers for you to copy the exact text used at the end of the update. That combines all of the votes together without making extra work for him/her.

This gives us the youngest group, so the closest in age to the protagonist, with Standstill having only recently transitioned from Wards to Protectorate, might be a good influence on Laura, and if nothing else, seems like it might be a fun mix. One of the biggest hurdles we've been dealing with in bringing our 'work' and casual friends together so we can form Voltron... er, gain the Power of Friendship!?... whatever and wherever we take that story.

There are things I want to do with Lacey, Mach, and Epoch, but they don't really fit in this story arc. Maybe we can get some of that stuff done in the two weeks between this vote and actually leaving.

I note that there is no "don't go with Kayleigh" option. This will make some readers upset, but doesn't bug me.

Not really. I thought that after bringing up that you guys might want to chat with Standstill, she would be more of a contender though, and there's been a faction that has been pushing to introduce Lacey and Maclibuin, so there are a few alternatives that could still gain traction.
