Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

[X] Close Encounters of the Third Kind – The Enforcers captured you then let you go with an apology, but you have to wonder just what in the world was really going on. Call up your friend the Admiral and grill him for a little more detail.
[X] Tickets to Gangland – If Cailleach is right, not only do you have to worry about local villains trying to fill MS-13's shoes, but out-of-towners too. Keep an eye and ear out for any invading capes and confront them if they start causing trouble.
[X]Talking with Epoch and the Adepts.

[X] Long Live the King – Without Danny in charge, the working relationship among the Privateers is becoming strained, and already some people are jockeying for the title. Talk to a few people and figure out if you can smooth things over.

I would guess 'yes'. Don't get too hung up and literal on the slot name, it's just meant to be something you can deal with in a single conversation, rather than a good part of a day.

No. Why would yo-, how does- Look, if you're going to try and game the system, put a modicum of effort into it.

I posed this question before, basically would it be a good way to demonstrate to epoch how we 'learn' magic? He's already assembled people who have potential.

He can either take our word for it, or take a hike. We've not forcing our adoptive mother to become a mage just as a teaching aide.

Slated by us, yes. However, IIRC she wasn't very enthusiastic/sold on becoming a Mage.
So make her a support/healer template so she won't have to do field work. Support powers and Tim's AI will allow them to act almost as if Danny was there, and the healing powers will keep them in the field and allow a faster turnaound when they inevitably injure themselves.

That...wasn't her issue. We already mentioned both that and the Gadgeteer (also more support): she wasn't interested. It wasn't 'field work', it was the whole 'becoming a mage without warning' bit.
"When you said you had something to say, this isn't what I expected. It's cool that you're offering to give away powers like that me and Tim, but I gotta to pass on it. This is too much to wrap my head around and make a decision on right this second. Ask me in six weeks or whenever, however long it'll be before you can make another of these things, and maybe I'll take you up on it, but not this time."
Note the lack of any mention of fighting.

Edit: Also @Silently Watches, missing a 'to' in "like that me and Tim" :p .

See above: she might be up for it now, since I think it was more us just dumping it on her with no warning. However, us doing the same thing again by trying to get her to become a mage just to show it off to some randoms (villains at that) she doesn't know? Haha, yeah, lets not do that. Very much a social slot in its own right, probably best done if/when we sort out the Privateers.
