Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

[X] Design – When you decide to create your Guardian Beast, I will hold a series of votes to determine species, age, personality, and class. It will never be as strong as a randomly generated Guardian Beast, but you will get exactly what you ask for.

Knowing SV/SB's luck with dice in situations like this, we are going to end up with a pigeon-based familiar whose appearance and powers makes people think Simurgh had a kid.

Just a note, but over on SB Silently Watches agreed to change the pigeon possibility into a crow possibility since enough people asked for it. He also agreed to make the cat a tabby instead of a calico, but in that instance he had been mixing up what "tabby" and "calico" meant, and had originally meant a tabby anyway.

EDIT: In case you don't understand the difference between a tabby and a calico cat either, a tabby cat is striped, while a calico cat has splotches of various colors and is always female.

No, I was mistaken as to what an actual tabby looked like because a lot of the people I know were apparently using "tabby" incorrectly. I know what a calico looks like.

I don't much care what kind of cat it would be, tabby honest. Cat you see that it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things? Just paws for a second and think about whether it's worth it fur you to be discussing that.

As for those people who think I've crossed a feline with my puns, I have only this to say: nya nya!

Where'd I leave that that rolled-up newspaper? That was awfur.

Then why were you saying that it would have been striped when you called it a calico? I'm confused.

Anyway, if you had stuck with calico and had rolled cat as the species you would have been forced to either change it to a different kind of cat or forego the gender roll. At least if it rolled male and someone with a little more familiarity with the subject noticed that male+calico=:???:.

Let me tail you, those puns are tigerible.

As for why it matters? You can't have a grey calico for the name "Grimalkin" because there's no such thing, and a "black" calico is actually largely tan and light brown. My cat is a black calico, so I would know. A tabby can be dark grey stripes on light grey. Once again, I would know since two of the cats that I had when I was younger were grey tabbies.

War form would have been a tiger so as to keep the orange-and-black color scheme, even if I got rid of the blotches. In human form, the invincibility spell would give it black stripes on an orange-colored body.

Not a big issue, just that when it gets pointed out that I'm wrong about something, I prefer for it to be clear what I'm actually wrong about, especially when otherwise it makes me look less knowledgable than I really am (e.g., not knowing what a tabby is vs. not knowing what both a tabby and a calico are).

Let me keep at least some dignity.

I still think it's more thematically appropriate to the whole witch thing that we get a solid black cat.

A crow would be the second-most thematic.

[X] Random generation – I will roll dice for your Guardian Beast, and you will create it in chapter 2.2. You get no say in any of its parameters, but it will have exclusive abilities that make it substantially more powerful than a designed Guardian Beast can be.

False, but
male+calico=sterile.
You see, males with two "x"es can exist, they just can't breed, because the necessary info doesn't exist in them.

You have my attention, also if we get a cat I want it's human form to look something like this
Yes I know I'm biased.

VOTE IS CLOSED!!!

And the results are…

Well… That wasn't a landslide or anything. Now I'm really glad I redid this vote.

Edit: This will be interesting. Not the Momberian, but not the hyperactive pigeon stealth specialist, either.

If I remember the order of the list that SW gave right, this means we got an adult racoon. Not sure about gender and class though.

So adult female tanuki with Mêlée DPS abilities if what people say is true... Not bad, and definitely useful for us if it can skirmish our opponents to draw fire.
