I had a fucking long debate with imhotep [insert random numbers here] on SB over the pros and cons of the two and why random should be chosen. Will link soon.Gee, I'm really on the fence for this one...One side...but the other...
... I don't know if you noticed, but that substantial boost is there for a reason. Front liners? Literally invulnerability a la Siberian. Same goes for other classes; they're OP as fuck in their respective fields.[X] Design – When you decide to create your Guardian Beast, I will hold a series of votes to determine species, age, personality, and class. It will never be as strong as a randomly generated Guardian Beast, but you will get exactly what you ask for.
This is the only time we get to choose our backup so deliberately - barring finding a shedload of money and bulk-upgrading the privateers via Cauldron. A support or defense oriented beast will allow the normal troops to weigh in onto situations they should never get into and so will carry a much bigger force multiplier than it seems, and in the worst cases - Lung etc it can shift to boosting capes Giving Clockblocker a barrier jacket equivalent is a massive shift in usability.
Random generation seems cool, and might pay off, but honestly we can buy guns to up attack, buy cars to up mobility, but survivabiity or healing are very, very difficult to change.
That'll teach me to include the http portion of web addresses from now on.Oh, and Silently Watches? Links to SB are broken in the report. There's some strange addition to it before forums.spacebattles.com
This is me, I think, place your bets!Silently Watches on SB said:Running through the numbers for Option 1.
