No, it's worse.
PRT Quest is canon, the Worm WOG folks don't list stuff that it isn't, but it introduced a bunch of stuff that contradicted the story.
Out of curiosity, what are the contradictions?
I'm actually not overly familiar with PRT Quest, but I'd believe it's non-canon for the same reasons as Weaver Dice... not sure though.
Not saying I agree, but for the sake of the argument, let's discount WeaverDice and PRT Quest. Does WoG still count? Wildbow confirmed GG's aura was not Master or Stranger, but Shaker.
I'll try to clarify my point. The classifications, and Worm powers in general, are about applications, not the methods. Take telekinesis, a method. We see a TK Master in Parian (minions), a TK Brute in Browbeat (self-protection), a TK Shaker in Rune (affects areas / battlefield). Similarly, mental-emotional manipulation is a method. The obvious and common applications are Master, certainly, but they're not automatically identical. Imp affects minds and is a Stranger (stealth), Gallant affects minds and is a Blaster (fights from range), and Glory Girl affects minds and is a Shaker (affects areas / battlefield).
I hope you at least see where I'm coming from, even if you dismiss it because it's supported by sources that aren't the main story. I'd still greatly appreciate if you could cite whatever it is that convinces you my definition is fanon, and your own isn't.
