[X] Tell her what little you know about the alien space wizards and their tech
To be fair to Puidwen, I believe they also seize any Tinkertech used in the commission of a crime. Like Bakuda's bombs that MM used during the Leviathan fight in canon. That is only for Protectorate/Wards. We are not under the Protectorate. If they tried to seize the tinker tech of Independent Heroes, much less Rogues and villains, the PRT would all but have civil war on their hands.
Correction: No matter what option you try to analyze, you screw it up.
Admitting to extraterrestrial contact could be bad, but let's not kid ourselves, there is no way we are going to manage to "baffle" the world's premier Tinker with technobabble. Letting her know we are not a Tinker helps us stay on the level with her.
Given this is the Worm side of the quest I'm rather wary of revealing things to Dragon. As inevitably due to her nature she can't keep anything a secret. And a fair number of questionable people have access to her information.
I don't remember her outright lying to the authorities at any point, but she's not obligated to actively tell them things - like in canon she figured out Taylor's identity early in canon, and didn't tell anyone.I'd like to add the Triumvirate still has their own control over Dragon, namely she has to totally obey and cannot lie to them as legitimate authorities.
Thus, I favor getting the word spread about the imminent Space Police contact.
I would assume this depends on the nature of tinkertech. I mean, if someone build an atomic bomb equivalent or a plague generator or water to uranium transmutation engine, PRT would probably be obligated to confiscate it on general law grounds of private citizens not being allowed to have WMDsTo be fair to Puidwen, I believe they also seize any Tinkertech used in the commission of a crime. That said, @Puidwen , Taylor isn't a villain here. Independent heroes and rogues don't have to get approval for anything they make, and it can't just be taken from them.
this option[ ] Tell her about magic but stay quiet about its extraterrestrial origins
And then gets turned into a potato mentally should he manage to steal him.
Scion is GONE, no need for parahuman feudalism since infrastructure isn't going to suddenly disappear all at once.
Not on Earth, not until or unless a treaty is hammered out. Of course, Earth's fractured political landscape makes that much more difficult.
