It delays the involvment of Saint, Teacher and Cauldron.
No it doesn't. Well, Saint maybe, but, of all these options, telling about space wizards is the option least likely to make him our enemy. If he knows about our Device, then he knows it's an AI. A tinkertech AI is dangerous, as no one knows how it'll develop and what it'll become, and if the creator dies or turns evil / insane, no one else in the world will know how it works and how to stop it. An AI from a civilization that sees wide use of its peers is far less of a danger, because it's stable. It's a solved problem, otherwise said civilization couldn't exist. In fact, a civilization that solved the problem of AIs existing would be something Saint would very much want to contact.
I think you forgot the big surprise waiting for you in 3.x.Cauldron is basically omniscient. They'll become involved when they want to become involved, and nothing we do would change it. Certainly nothing we tell or not tell Dragon would change it.
tl;dr: There is no more Cauldron except for the Triumvirate.Unable to argue with that, she just nodded. Almost two years previously, Scion had disappeared. He hadn't flown away. He hadn't burst into flames or fallen apart. He was just gone. When she tried to tell Doctor Mother and Contessa about that, she had been unable to reach them. No matter what she tried, she couldn't get an answer. She did not know for sure what had happened, but it didn't take a Thinker to figure it out. Scion had found Cauldron's base. He found the other creature. And from there? If he had even a fraction of humanity's emotions, what he would have done upon seeing one of his own race being chopped up for experimentation was obvious. The next day, Eidolon had resigned, officially because he could no longer handle the stress of running one of the largest branches of the Protectorate but in truth because the vast majority of his powers vanished when Cauldron did, yet more evidence of Scion's rage. It was the only way they could hide his sudden weakness.
NO PRESSURE! : DYet another conversation choice. Let's see how you do this time. (Please don't fuck it up!)
"It's not the worst I've ever heard. That prize goes to a Native American hero I met once," she says when you look at her curiously. "He was an Alexandria package who called himself He Who Flies Among the Eagles. Stereotypical, maybe, but certainly memorable. He also refused to shorten his name, which probably played a role in why the PRT gave him the nickname Flyboy."
"He didn't take that well, did he?"
"Not in the slightest."
Your vote is messed up, thus it would not be counted by an automated tally. make sure it's Bracket-X-Bracket, no spaces.[-X] Tell her what little you know about the alien space wizards and their tech

I'd like to add the Triumvirate still has their own control over Dragon, namely she has to totally obey and cannot lie to them as legitimate authorities.I think you forgot the big surprise waiting for you in 3.x.
tl;dr: There is no more Cauldron except for the Triumvirate.
Now I kinda want this to lead to DRAGONSLAYERS IN SPACEIn fact, a civilization that solved the problem of AIs existing would be something Saint would very much want to contact
Even the worst case scenario has an upside: We get to be the ambassador between the TSAB team and the PRT/Protectorate, which means going on missions with whoever the TSAB sends!...Hm. Well, we definitely have been trying to do everything ourselves lately. Which, while normal behavior for Taylor Hebert and SV/SB in general, is ultimately a endeavor that will result in making things harder for us.
If we can potentially get the backing of the Triumverate behind us, and set up a Magitech Community on Earth Bet we can get assistance in getting rid of the Endbringers without having to hop through hoops for the sake of establishing a working alliance.
Ergo, telling the Triumverate now will help to guarantee a more stable alliance, and less drama from both sides most likely.
And hell, giving Eidolon an opportunity to regain powers through a Linker Core is a attractive prospect.
Do we have the temperament to be an effective ambassador? We get to be the ambassador between the TSAB team and the PRT/Protectorate, which means going on missions with whoever the TSAB sends!
We'd be no worse at it than Fate.
And what regs would those be?If we tell her we found Perfect Storm she will have to try and confiscate it because of PRT regulations
Telling Dragon about aliens would make getting a battery for the radio go a lot quicker. One reason for withholding info about the interdimension space aliens is because we don't have a lot of proof. I would want to wait on revealing that until we have a Gadgeteer person build a generator for the radio. Then we can bring the radio into the PRT and start discussing things.
I was under the impression the the PRT confiscates all tinkertech that wasn't being use by it's owner or approved by them. You know in case it explodes or gives everyone in the block cancer or something?
1. Myrrdin. If we tell her about magic we be accused of being insane like Merlin.
If we tell her we found Perfect Storm she will have to try and confiscate it because of PRT regulations.
Your impression is incorrect.I was under the impression the the PRT confiscates all tinkertech that wasn't being use by it's owner or approved by them. You know in case it explodes or gives everyone in the block cancer or something?
Correction: No matter what option you try to analyze, you screw it up.And if we fooled her with the bullshit option she will want to work with us. In other words this time no matter what we pick we're screwed.
