EDIT: Changed my preference order, Really like the idea of the entire magic organization being called Arcana, the section containing Taylor being Judgement Guard, and the team of Taylor, Missy, Kayleigh, and Laura being the Night Sisters.

You fools! If you pick the team name to be Arcana.... not only will we have to find and VOTE to recruit a total of Twenty-Two members we actually like enough, we'll need even MORE votes on which of the Major Arcana Taylor and current friends will pick as their title!!!

I concur with the sentiment that if Judgement Guard were shortened to just Judgement, it would be more suitable for Taylor's group. If that were decided, it would move up one spot in my rankings.

I'm not the one who came up with Judgement Guard, and other people have stated they LIKE the full name, so I don't think I can do that. That's a discussion for you to have amongst yourselves.

Just for Laura and Missy. :D Kayleigh is the obvious Fool, and Taylor is absolutely Death with ALL that signifies.

Yeah, personally I'd be a lot better inclined towards Judgement without the Guard... But I'd probably be spending all my time looking for the precocious teleporter and lightning magical girl with a stack of quarters showing up...

Soooo... When can we expect Kayleigh to be beating up major gods? I mean, is it gonna be within 3 months? 6 months? Or maybe a year on the outside?

Bad how? I only recall someone saying it sounded Knights Templar-ish and... I don't really get that impression?

Moreover, it's meant to reference a part of Perfect Storm's and OG Calamity Witch's history. The team now exists thanks to Galea's existence, and I thought it would be cool to honor that, with all the faults they had.

Arcana is the safe and inoffensive choice. I don't have much against it other than to me it's boring and too obvious in contrast to say, even Night Sisters.

I had been favoring Arcana until I thought of the circumstances surrounding us finally picking a team name. We have passed Judgement. Soon, we will Guard the world by preemptively eliminating the Fallen, followed by other major threats.

I dislike Night Sisters primarily because it is a gendered name. We have two templates left to invoke, so even with Standstill joining us, there would still be a chance of us finally getting a guy in a combat role. Tim's preference for staying out of the thick of things means it is only a minor slight against him to not consider him in the name.

Honestly, I consider a bland name to be worse than a bad name. A bad name will be remembered, while a bland name will just get lost in the paperwork somewhere. Plus it's way too similar to Adepts visually.

Lots of internal debating on which one to put first. But Arcana speaks to me about mystic and power. And even if it would be bland initially, which I don't really think anyway, when the opening is eliminating the Fallen, every name we choose would be remembered and spoken of in awe or fear.

Damnit... Just realised we could have called Kayleigh's device 'Something' Evoker (or just Evoker) if we wanted to do a Persona reference...

It'd even be a nice odd to the fact that it's a magic gun given the usual connection to Evocation. Still, far too late now... Only a couple of days after it would have mattered.

I find it amusing that Persona references come up while I have Persona 5 rented from Gamefly. This is the only instance of the series I've ever played.

Sometimes I am easily amused =)

EDIT: Okay okay okay, just reread the thread and I saw some people saying they'd prefer if the "Guard" part was dropped.

I ain't too attached to that part, so if it's allowed to shift votes this later on would y'all be more keen on just "Judgment"?
