Her speed should also her to get close enough that she doesn't need such a large weapon (if it does work that way) and you can get a similar damage increase using a personal strike boost spell which would also increase her actual speed for a sustained period.

Can we give Vista a spell like the portal/projection shenanigans that Shamal used in the Detonation movie to punch a giant mech with a giant projection of her hand? I don't know what such a spell would be called.You mean like possessing the summon?

Not… right… now? That sounds like an advanced tier spell, so probably best to be a later purchase. I would allow a smaller version of it as a basic tier spell to start with, though.
DON'T DO THIS. Compiling this vote is going to be enough of a headache without you changing the Device vote for no good reason.

Given that Missy's so far shown little on screen interest or knowledge of Japanese folklore, it's unlikely imo.

It has been definitely stated that Missy won't summon frogs, roads, or any variations of them. Clones...might be what she summons, but I don't think that's what she'll be doing.
There's a bit of a difference between turning a staff into a spear with an energy blade point for a point and turning a hammer into a hammer the size of a building.
'Stupendous sizes' very much implies the latter.
57% match with Toads, 81% match with Squirrels... and whatever else the IE template has amongst its summons.
It's not toads, and probably mammalian.
Because people like inefficient weapons? I changed mine just so it matched up with others using the same spell set. Not because I like sickles.

I mean, given that she's already going ninja by herself and she just discovered she can summon things similar to frogs, she's just a "frog ninja" internet search away from the name Jiraiya.
It's not unlikely.
Probably some type of reptile. Maybe snakes? Or salamanders?
Or she's Caro's distant cousin and can summon dragons.

Since going Full Naruto means giving her greatly enhanced speed, I don't see Blitz Action as all that useful. I eagerly await SW telling me I'm misinterpreting things yet again

No, Missy will not be creating clones.
I know this was a typo, but now I have the mental image of Missy dropping actual streets on top of people. Then Taylor calls her in a huff because part of the city is missing. Again.
Full Naruto doesn't just make Missy run faster. It also makes Blitz Action better. Without it, she's moving at high speed in a straight line, changing direction only once. With it, she's moving at high speed compared to her baseline and can change direction three times.Since going Full Naruto means giving her greatly enhanced speed, I don't see Blitz Action as all that useful. Just like to point out two things here.
#1, she already has a combat arm with a hardlight shield.
#2, Champion summons are advanced spells and needs the swarm version as a prerequisite. I was willing to separate them when a Device mage would only have 6 spells at most, but with the new system I can't justify that.

Why is the leading weapon vote a sickle? What value is there in making Missy's device a sickle? If you are making her go into melee then outright give her a sword or daggers. Yes, magic can cover for a sickle shape not being really for fighting but there's no reason to give her a sickle as a weapon when you are having her be a melee combatant.
