Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

I wonder if Alexandria will try to dissuade Taylor from going after the Fallen or try to have her wait for PRT/Protectorate assistance.
I think Alexandria's gonna be less "concerned" and more what is called "proud".

Thinking about it more, the best course of action would be:
  • Law and Order: The PRT is probably going to reveal Operation Pentagram to the world, so as one of the key actors in it's inception Taylor should be present on it's unveiling. Gotta get that credit, or at least make presence.
  • Bone of the Father: ...Is Theo trying to revive his dad or something? The Chevalier interlude and Lacey's comments about the influx of latino and black patients seem to indicate the neo-nazis are on the rise again. Which is perfect for us, as hunting nazis is the perfect way to further social Laura to get her on Taylor's side.

Those are the ones I think we must do. Pretty much anything else goes I think.

I think you're going to be disappointed then, should the TSAB crew say they can't really help with brain injuries. Danny's part in the story is long since over with, let it be, imo.

True, it could be bad news, but it is highly unlikely to be worse news than what she already knows. It just feels incomplete to have access to people with a vast and completely separate style of medicine/healing and not asking them to at least see if there's some way they can help. I fully expect any "yes, we can help" to be attached to "IF we can bring him to Midchilda for treatment" or something along those lines. It's bothered me that we never did that. I understand people being done with Danny, either because they dislike the character as a whole or this particular version, or just like the options we have from him not being around. That doesn't stop it from feeling out of character and heartless for Taylor to give up on her father.

I really think we should finish building our team up a bit, get them used to fighting with magic and each other, etc. Before moving on to the Fallen. Missy isn't even master proof like she wanted yet, and she will want to fight them too. Laura and Kayleigh would probably want in as well, so use an arc to get them ready.
Let's try to secure our hometown first with the two dad arcs, and Law and Order. The Fallen won't be gone 4 weeks from now. I'm also concerned with Winter Hill's role with Bone of the Father, and someone could be getting ready to use Danny against Taylor somehow.
Family First Arc!

Main Quests
[X] Burn the Sinners
These people are like cancer. Leave them be even for a second and they'll come back bigger. One have to be relentless and let them know the true taste of the very medicine that they've been peddling to the world - despair.

[X] Law and Order
The biggest selling point of this is immunity to master effects. That would no doubt make the public do a double take.

Social Activities
[X] Participate in Law and Order
[X] Explore somewhere in Earth Bet - Wonder what china would do when they found out that this new breed are immune to being mastered.

On another note:
I thought of picking bone of the father but the author said that it is a Harry Potter reference. And one thing that the readers forgot is that the spell needed the enemy (Calamity Witch) to be there. Hence the 'Blood of the Enemy unwillingly taken' line. Which means that it will only get worse if Calamity Witch was there. Thus not choosing it will prevent it from happening.

I think you're delving too deep into the reference. It is highly unlikely someone is preparing a resurrection ritual that requires our blood.

It doesn't have to be a resurrection ritual. Since what I meant that with Calamity Witch there it will become a downward spiral.

Another could be that it might be unknown Fallen agents looking for samples. I know that my words are speculation but surprises like this come a lot.

Not the part of that screen I was referencing
@Silently Watches, exploring another world doesn't say how many people we can bring. Is it still 1-3?
Yes, 1-3. If you get everyone on a single team, we could play with the numbers a little more. As a general rule of thumb, GBs won't be counted against that number.

The resurrection reference on the Empire quest may be about bringing back the organization, maybe by "reviving" the figures of Kaiser or Allfather through Theo.

I'm gonna say, given that Taylor was the one to effectively destroy their organization, plus they were her first kills on this quest I'm super interested in seeing where this could go.

Plus, there's the chance to social Laura by punching nazis. That's something everyone can get behind, right?

[] Bone of the Father – You have heard whispers of several new gangs taking up residence in Philadelphia despite the PRT's and the established gang's best efforts. One may be interesting than the rest. Be available if you need to help out.
[] Daddy's Little Girl – It's been a while since you last checked on your dad. It hurts to see him and know that he doesn't and probably never will recognize you, but you should probably stomach the hurt and go to his nursing home.
[] Participate in Law and Order as a social event instead of as a subquest event.
[] Hang out with another character(s). This is by definition a non-combat activity.
-[] Adepts. All 3 of them.

A bunch of mostly social stuff, but hey, I find that to be the most interseting part of this quest.

If I remember correctly, yellow events are time-sensitive and will disappear if not taken this vote.
Yep, that's how they've worked every other time they've shown up. Can't go to a press conference that's over and such.
Yellow events are "this week only".

Thanks all! That makes perfect sense.

My pre-vote takes:

I'd say that the knifing-minorities-super-likely-to-be-e88-offshoots need investigating, so I'd go for Bone of the Father.

The press conference seems very likely to be about the doggies or magic in some way, so not participating in the run-up to it seems like a really bad idea. I think it's probably too important to treat as a social event - Taylor should try to get in to a pre-conference meeting if possible.

On the social side, I think Taylor should hang out with Samantha and Missy - Missy's recovering, but she's had a possibly rough week what with leaving the wards and MM, so she can likely use the support. OOC, Missy's also likely to be powerful, it's a good idea to stay on her good side, and give our benevolent quest-master a chance to boost her power and/or the friendship.

Finally, I'd suggest explore a random world - who knows what we'll find, but it's likely to be different, might be fun, and could be very useful.

Personally, I think we should only do it as social. The other option is we end up fighting with them, and as a new branch they need to stand on their own, and not be seen being aided by an affiliate. Social could still see us talking to the public, the members, etc. Without aiding them directly in their fights, though if we take Bone of the Father, we may still run into them on the job.

You're wasting a slot there, law and order can be in either of them, putting it in both accomplishes nothing.

How long is it gonna take for Standstill to make the jump and meet up with Tim? Could we do it this week?

Between Epoch, Laura, Kayleigh, Missy and Sarah that's a pretty good number to start a team right there.
